Happened around noon today. I figured it was the religion of peace because the details of the suspect took some time to emerge after he was apprehended.

They're saying that the suspect is named Richard Rojas and the claim is that he was drunk driving. Seems dubious.

On May 18, 2017 Alyssa Elsman, was visiting the New York City with her family, including her 13-year-year sister, when the speeding car, driven by Richard Rojas, 26, slammed into them and nearly two dozen others as he floored it up to West 45th Street just before noon.

The siblings were struck on the sidewalk between West 42nd and 43rd streets. Elsman was pronounced dead at the scene and her younger sister was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Less than an hour before the horrific incident that took her life, Elsman posted a video to Instagram atop the famed red staircase at the Crossroads of the World.

I can't say that after smoking a huge reefer that I ever had the desire to drive into a crowd of people. I did smoke that synthetic garbage once and it was the worst high I've ever experienced, toxicology report should be interesting.

Pretty sure he was smoking K2 which is dirt cheap synthetic weed sold in some hood bodegas and on the street.

I smoked that shit with two buddies out in the woods (where everyone should try new drugs for the first time), took two puffs and within a minute was freaking out and paranoid, I was panicking pretty bad but it was over in about ten minutes. I definitely don't recommend it, it wasn't fun at all, that shit should not be sold in stores.

Back in the early 1990's, I had a buddy who was Korean-American and a heavy drug user. But he was always into smoking pot. One day, we had an afternoon martial arts class so I headed over to his place to pick him up. I knocked on the door. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed a blind moving slightly in the window. As I moved my head to look at the window, my buddy's eyes look like he was in a paranoid state of mind. Bizarre, I thought. He looked look like he was definitely freaked out over something.

He slowly opened the door and his eyes were scanning outside to check for cops or something. He said, "I thought you were an FBI agent". I looked at him and said, "you are fucking paranoid - what's wrong with you?". As I walked into his place, holy shit! It reeked of marijuana throughout the entire apartment. No way this kid was going to class high.

Dude's been drug-free and sobered since 1997.
