Juventus played a very mature match but Monaco has only themselves to blame as they had clear cut chances - falcao and mbappe between them atleast had 3 gilt edged chances between them as did germain at the end. Even when there were times that juve was playing with virtually 6 at the back, monaco had a top attack.

Monaco missed Mendy big time - both goals came through the juve right where mendy would've patrolled.

RM will beat juve in the final IMO (i would like juve to win but they will be punished by RM if they give the chances they gave Monaco).

I agree that Juve will probably lose if they give chances to RM as they did give to Monaco, but I always felt that Juve was not playing full 100% and could decide the pace and style of the game. They went more defensive with Barzagli on instead of Cuadrado and shifting Alves up to the wing. In the last 10-20 minutes they made substitutions to close up the shop, but I don't think even with more defenders and defensive midfielders that is a good idea against Monaco's strong attack.

But somehow it cannot be a coincidence for Juve to not concede a single goal for so many matches including against big attacking teams like Barcelona and Monaco. They conceded a few chances to Monaco as they did to Barca, but neither team could finish. Other chances there always seems to be a bunch of Juve defenders around to intercept or one last Bonucci or Chiellini block, or finally if it gets past them all Buffon is there. They have the most complete squad in Europe and they are not impenetrable, but very strong defensively. Juve will really have to have a freak horror night and Monaco a stunning performance for Monaco to stand any chance of coming back into this tie.

If we assume Juve v Real in the final, based on strength of squads overall, Juve is the better team and should win. But Champions League, World Cup finals are one off matches so they involve a lot of luck as well. I have a sneaky feeling that the curse of finals is going to continue for Juve. They have to shake that curse and get some good luck on the matchday.

I am not a fan of any of the clubs here or Bayern, but Bayern was the only team I saw that could rival Juventus. Real luckily eliminated Bayern with the help of the referee and simply some good luck which you need in these competitions. So Juve get to play Real rather than Bayern which they will prefer. It's Juve's cup to lose, good luck to all Juve supporters, the team gives the neutral a good lesson in team spirit, playing with heart and excellent defending.

Bullshit. Barzagli expired his contract with Wolfsburg when he joined Juventus, by that logic we can also say that Ibrahimovic cost zero or just the contract signing prize to Manchester United.

Although this year, I don't believe in miracles, there are still 90 minutes to play - at least.

And there have been far greater miracles in european football, than turning a 0:2 / 0:3 in game 2.

I think that Ronaldo (if they make it to the final) will decide the match. And they have Kroos, defensively strong and almost 100% in passing.

One goal for Real could be enough to win the title.
