The stereotype about southern Brazil is only the taller European guys will pull chicks down there. That may be the case in Floripa, but definitely NOT in Porto Alegre. There are some taller beauties in Southern Brazil & São Paulo...but I will say this.

Even with good Portuguese skills, taller gals in Brazil are a bit more superficial & take months or years of social circle to pull. They can be very superficial about height in Brazil.

I find taller Eastern European chicks more outgoing & flexible about dating shorter guys.

Even white chicks in the US are exponentially more open about dating a shorter Asian dude like myself (5-9) than taller Brazilian chicks (not sure about LA or Washington DC tho)

All of this is based on experience.

The fratty, post-Big 10 vibe is so pervasive in Chicago. It's hard to describe but basically it shuts out people who are not part of that culture. I have nothing to talk about with those kinds of girls. There are definitely Asian guys who are super fratty that do well there, but your typical Asian guy (or an alternative one like me) will have a hard time vibing with them.

Admittedly my experiences in Chicago were back when my game was much worse. Maybe it's time to go back for a visit!

It's funny you mention that. One of the guys I used to hang out with in Texas was coincidentally in the same Greek organization as mine's but albeit at different schools. He went to U of Illinois and says many people moving into Chicago essentially look to relive their college days as it gets old very quickly. Big reason he moved on and & left those circles.

You have a bit of that here in Dallas as well, but there are ways to find good solid social spheres away from those past Greek life circles too...sure it can be applicable in Chicago too.

Brosemite: yeah 5'9 is tough. It's not short per se, but just so happens to be the lower end of average such that half the population is between 5'9-5'11.

My question is what are good places for english-speaking Asian bros to find nice wife-material girls? I'm looking for wife material at the moment as im heading to my 30s.

I'm thinking Poland. Romanian gave me a great impression esp if you're not tall but the girls were a bit trickster-like and wily. No idea about Colombia but hear it's good? Hey guys, wanted to give you guys the scoop on Riga, Latvia based on my experience. Overall, Riga gets a big pass. The reasons are as follows:

- Terrible ratios. Cheap flights to Riga from England means loads of weekend tourists.
- Talent is not as high as Lithuania during the nighttime. Talent is decent during the daytime but they are nowhere to be found in Old City during night time.
- Stag Parties
- On top of this it is still 30-35% more expensive than Poland
- Hispter culture is prenetrating the under 30 crowd. I prefer girls who dress well. Best dressed are definitely the Russians

I mainly stuck with the bars in old town with Rock Cafe being my bread and butter. This place was a sausage fest the majority of the time I went. During the weekend, this place got packed around 2:30AM and this is the time you want to show up here cause the ratios start to get decent around this time. One guy was telling me this is how it is because the Latvians wait for the tourists to get tired (since hey start the night early) so by this time they have gone to bed. Nevertheless, almost every bar I went to had more guy than girls.

I went to Coyote Fly with some of my Latvian homies. This was much more Latvian than the bars in old town and the talent was higher. However, the girls here put off a kind of bitchy vibe. I made one approach on a hot chick but I got a massive blow out.

I get the impression that Latvians are just really done with the tourist crowd here.

Anyways, I hope this was useful. In Tallin, Estonia now. Let's see what this place holds.

Like LA, OC is divided into a bunch of different enclaves with lots of ethnic areas as well as ranging from very scuzzy (Stanton) to super high end (Coto de Caza).

Some Asian centric areas are Fullerton, Buena Park, Garden Grove, Westminster, Irvine. On weekends, you'll have lots of girls hitting up the bars in downtown Santa Ana and downtown fullerton. Lots of high end white bread stuff going on in Newport Beach and Costa Mesa. Much of the Latino population is in Santa Ana and Anaheim areas. I still haven't figured out what Huntington Beach is (former skinhead central, now kind of gentrified with an ugly undercurrent) but generally, the more south you get in OC with regards to beaches, the whiter and wealthier the demographic becomes.

Because there are so many Asians in the aforementioned areas, it's not like you're gonna stand out either positively/negatively. As mentioned ad naueseum in the Los Angeles thread, SoCal is not an easy place to game because of the entitlement issues and the horrible logistics but there's a big pool to draw from, so you have to put in the work.

But I'm curious given my profile, where would you guys recommend I check out - I'm Chinese, 6'2, 180lbs, athletic build, been described as handsome. Given my height, should I check out Belgrade or is that just a dead end for Asian guys in general? I'm thinking of going to Vienna next, and then to the Scandinavia countries. Can't say that I've heard of it... yelp reviews say that it closed down in 2008, so I guess it's been a while since they've been around. TBH, I feel like the clubs/bars in OC try really hard to be as cool as the ones in LA, but I much prefer the ethnic nightlife there like the myriad Korean fusion spots or the Vietnamese Quan Dy bars.

5'10 Viet-American. Learn a couple words of the language of the country where you'll be in. It makes opening a lot easier.

Just came back from 2 weeks in Saigon/Hanoi and I am falling in love with my motherland. Not just because how easy it is for me to pull but the country itself, the people, my family, and the lifestyle. Might just move there for a year and teach English along side a private labeling business.

A bit about myself: 100% Vietnamese but raised in SoCal. I am 5'10, 170 lbs. I tower over most guys in Vietnam and I have the size to back it up too. I would say I am in the top 10 percent of guys in Vietnam. I can speak decent Vietnamese. Every time I speak Vietnamese the girls ALWAYS comment on how cute I sound for some reason. I think it's because I speak differently than the way Viet dudes speak in Vietnam (crude).

A little over two weeks culminated in 4 girls with multiple bangs from each chick.
Like most have said, this isn't a country where you go looking for a ONS every night and get it. The culture is still very conservative even though Saigon is westernizing rather rapidly.

3 girls were from Tinder, one was a pull from the nightclub. Come to think of it, all 3 tinder chicks were same night lays after going clubbing. I did however see all of the chicks on a Day 2 because honestly I enjoyed their company and didn't want them to feel like a slut. I got the last one's number at the club before leaving and met up with her again the following night which led to a bang that night.

My advice:

Glad you had fun, seems like you hit the sweet spot: height, Viet Kieu status and just enough westernization for girls to fuck on the first date but without the obesity/Skrillex hairstyles. Speaking from personal experience, enjoy it while you can. I felt the same way you did working in Korea in the early 2000's (hot, easy girls who loved that I was Korean American). It's not easy like that forever so it's good to maximize while conditions are favorable.

I was recently in HCMC and experienced the exact same thing as Spitative. Him and I are nearly identical in stats however my Vietnamese isn't very good, very basic. I definitely agree with pipelining it before. The day I landed, I got laid so it definitely works.

Just like him also, I had people telling me they thought I was a guy named Kim Lý who is apparently a Viet guy from Sweden, doesn't speak any Vietnamese, went to Vietnam and became very famous there (I am strongly considering doing this also).

Those good times for "Viet Kieu" guys will continue to exist in Vietnam.

I am Korean. I wouldn't be surprised if Filipino and Thai guys get a lot more bangs from white girls than us East Asian guys in USA/Canada. Filipinos and Thai guys are a lot more outgoing, friendly and bubbly in general. Women find those qualities very attractive. Plus you guys have a lot more exotic factors going on.
