It will come as a surprise to nobody who knows me that Indo girls are hands down my favourite of the four. Not only are they hot they're just bags of fun and up for anything.

I am almost exclusively a nightgamer and am generally looking for hot, fun girls to party with and have short to medium term non-exclusive fuckbuddy style hookups with* who rarely get jealous and have fun bubbly personalities. And Jaks girls fit the bill perfectly. I have lost count of the number of indo girls I've hooked up with but almost all of them I remember fondly (bar a few 6am drunken stinkers).

Viet girls I find the top end of whom are probably the hottest of the 4. Anyone who's been to Qui lounge in Ho Chi Minh City will be hard pushed to name a bar anywhere else in SE Asia with more showstoppers per square meter than that place.

For me they fall down however as generally I find very few are much fun on a night out. Tbh I think thats mainly because their english isn't great, which is more to do with how different their own language is rather than an educational aspect. They can be fun in a quiet cute kind of way but aren't nearly a wild fun as the indos. I found a general tendency for them to be buried in their phones in the club also, more concerned that social media sees them having a great time than...actually having a good time.

With one notable exception I generally have struggled getting any success with the top end hot Viets. So this could just be me being butthurt , but tbh I've rarely if ever seen the top end girls even hanging with any non-Viet dudes never mind hooking up with any of them.

I've done a fair few of the second tier chicks (ie still cute/bangable but not shit your pants hot) tho and they're certainly the most conservative of the four. Sure, a lot of lads like this aspect (some perhaps because they think it scores them more PUA forum points by banging them) but I just find it annoying when a chick who's clearly keen makes it unnecessarily hard work to bang. Sure you might say that maybe I don't have the PUA SKillz required to beat all that LMR, but frankly it's more often due to the reward rarely being worth the effort required and particularly time wasted given I usually am only in town for a weekend.

And when you do bang them, oh man it's a total utter fucking bastard trying to get rid of them the next day. Clinging on in your hotel room like the Soviets in Stalingrad.

Filipina girls I've had some great experiences with. Closer to Indo girls in nature and great banter on a night out (again I think this is more due to their english being better which is more a factor for it being much easier to learn for indos/pinays than it is for thai/viets). Just I find very very few of them hot, generally I find a club in Manila is often a sea of mediocrity (bar perhaps the lounge club Revel). The few top end girls there are heavily sought after and in full awareness of how hot they are. This is probably just a Manila scene thing, but there seemed to be a lot of 'social ladder climbing' behavior also. Chatting to chicks they were constantly having to name drop what celebrities or club owners they were partying with the night before. Got a bit tiresome.

The filipina girls I have dated also almost always had a massive jealous streak through them. They didn't take very well to my popularity and tendency to be friends with other girls and would regularly stalk my facebook for intel.

Thais for me are bottom of the pile. But again this is going by the types I've meet partying in the clubs in Bangkok. Where every girl seems to be operating in some kind of grey area between 'normal' and full blown hooker. But I'm sure this is just the clubs I've been ending up in.

I've banged a fair number of thai girls but am hard pressed to remember more than a couple of them. They may look the part but personality wise so many were just utterly forgettable. Like zero going on upstairs. But again, I think this is synonymous with the Bangkok nightscene where so many girls are either LBs or on the meter I'm constantly on my guard. Plus I'm sure the girls themselves are pretty jaded with so many twat headed farangs piling through the city on vacation in the last few years looking to fill up their bang spreadsheet.

I'm sure however I'm missing a trick in Bangkok. So many guys I know there who have good taste and solid game love the place. I think by living there and going out particularly mid week as opposed to the weekend then you have a much better experience.

I would say for sure if you're less into nightlife and looking for more long term girl to date or even girlfriend material then Viet chicks are probably the way to go. I can see why they're so popular with certain guys, particularly the more laid back types. But Indo/Jakarta girls really suit me style and tastes down to the ground.

Seems like Irish and I are on the same page. Although I went out only a few times in Jakarta, and honestly was underwhelmed as a EA guy. Perhaps the places are just good for white guys. Better results on Tinder. Nightlife in general for Oriental Asia is surprisingly pretty bad minus a few key exceptions as getting shitfaced drunk / hookup culture is regulated to a small niche of the population.

Singapore's Clark Quay complete disappointment, waste of money really, I feel for you Irish.

Far more likely to find your high quality Thai girl hanging out with friends at a friend's spot or local bar. As stated before, I found BKK Nightlife to be pretty much pointless for upper tier girls. Same with Manila. With online game on the rise, nightlife will continue to adjust, with more and more bars taking over the "scene" rather then your clubs pumping out EDM. Happening already in London.

Then again, while I love clubs, I find majority of my SNL before online game was popular in the west was via bars, rather some loud thumping club where you can barely hear anyone. Clubs would be used a venue to take a target from a bar to and "lose" her friends.

Kind of surprised by your opinion of Clarke Quay. Not saying it's full of 9s, but there are 7's and 8's there (maybe 6's and 7's if you take into account personality).
Are you in located in East Asia or do you have a Chinese girlfriend? I noticed when I had a Chinese gf after a while I started to lust for Indo and Filipina girls, and when I had an Indo or Filipina gf I started to lust the Chinese look.

Sorry to be needy, but can anyone help give me details on travelling within SEA? Maybe by PM if you prefer?

I am planning a trip for July out of the US, and it looks like either Iran (where my family is from) or Thailand/SEA in general.

I have a cousin that can take off work for 7-10 days and he is willing to meet me in BKK, but I'm starting to think I'm selling myself short by flying just to BKK and staying there for a whole month. I know it will be a great experience and chances are I can get plenty of bangs and the flag, but I would rather see as many countries in the area that have women I don't have access to at home.

I've never even met, as far as I can remember, a woman from Thailand, Laos, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, or Cambodia.

I've already been with a few Filipinas (who I love, but I'm looking for new things, and there are plenty of Vietnamese where I live now and I will be moving to LA soon and there are many there.

My question is if I fly to BKK, how exactly does going from one major city in one country to another work in SEA? Can I just show up at the airport and fly standby? What is the general cost of flying from one major SEA city to another? Do you have any recommendations on how to deal with housing (book airbnb in advance for like a week in each city)? How easy is it to find a good gym for lifting 4 days a week in SEA while planning to leave within a week (by good I mean like your standard 24 Hour Fitness in the US)?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated and could potentially take me to Asia for the first time (excluding Iran, which is the only Asian country I've been to)!

I'm not versed in SEA travel, but something to keep in mind is that it's going to be really damn hot in July. My sister was there last summer, she said it was always 95-100 degrees and 90-100% humidity.

Granted, it's always hot there but July seems particularly bad. At those temperatures I'd be inclined to go for a beach at least.

Regarding AirBNB: if you really want to do multiple countries, a week is probably best. You'll get a slight discount. Make sure it has AC

I'm from Houston, so 95-100 degrees and 90% humidity is something I've experienced most of the summers of my life. The only difference with SEA I'm guessing is that in Houston the AC is always on everywhere you go, whereas I can imagine taking cabs in BKK or wherever with no AC.

I'm not opposed to the idea of going to a beach, but my priority in going on this trip is getting flags and meeting women, and if that means staying in the big cities I'm fine with that.

Thanks for the tip with airBNB, I've never used it but will heed your advice.

You can either fly between the cities or take a bus/train. The latter will take at least 10 hours though, because all major cities in SEA are pretty far from each other and the roads are a mess sometimes. Bangkok has a domestic airport called Don Muang (DMK) from where all the cheap airlines are flying to the neighboring countries.

General cost of flying: I would say between 50$ and 100 $ one way (internationally) but it really depends on the exact route. Best is to check out AirAsia.com to find the prices. You can also use skyscanner but most of the time AirAsia will have the cheapest flights.

Housing: I would check out AirBnB first (especially for places like Bangkok, Jakarta or Ho Chi Minh City) and if you don't find anything, then check out hotels.

Gym: this is a bit more tricky and depends where you are. I know that in Bangkok and Jakarta you can go to the big chains and ask for a trial period but I have no idea about the other cities. I guess in the poorer countries like Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar it will be very hard to find even a basic gym you can go to.

If your priority is getting flags and meeting women, I would suggest sticking to Jakarta, Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City (maybe also visit Singapore for a day on the way to Jakarta ) and maybe do a small trip to Laos or Cambodia if you are also interested in other stuff (e.g. Angkor Wat in Cambodia or Vang Vieng in Laos)

Thanks for the info. I just repped you. Very useful and even if I don't go to SEA this summer, the next time I do I feel like I have all the information I need.

I am thinking of doing 1 week each in 5 cities (not in order): BKK, Ho Chi Minh, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore. Again, my goal is flags and meeting women, but who knows, if I get satisfied with a flag early in the week I may just take bus rides to explore the rest of the country. These destinations might change if the flight price doesn't work out or if accommodation is too expensive.

BKK for obvious reasons.

Ho Chi Minh while probably more difficult to get the flag in a week, because I have a great amount of respect for Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh himself.

Jakarta because from the descriptions of Indonesian women, they sound like they will be my favorite type of all the SEA countries I'm visiting.

Kuala Lumpur because my cousin got his bachelors there and aparently it was beautiful and the girls aren't too hard to get with. Can anyone confirm anything about Malaysian girls? I know they're Muslims so I'm not sure how to feel.

Singapore because why not. No idea what the difficulty would be, but it's worth a trip.

Kuala Lumpur IMHO is kind of underrated on RVF.
At least half of the people in KL are Chinese Malaysian and not Muslim. I think some Chinese Malaysian girls are pretty cool, less money/status obsessed than Singaporean or Chinese Indonesian. I have no experience with Muslim girls in KL, but some of them seem quite interested in Western men.

Clarke Quay is dreadful. All local kids and lost tourists. The chicks are a sea of mediocrity. I never go there any more, there are plenty more better options. But regardless Singapore nightlife in general has tanked massively in the last couple of years. There are a lot of good places for casual evening drinks such as Club Street, Duxton and Circular road. But when it comes to clubbing there are very few places worth bothering with, particularly given the expense. Jakarta (or BKK/Bali/Manila/HCMC) nightlife just blows it away so I save my cash and party energy for when I'm out of town which is at least one-two weekend a month.

Singapore is good to live in tho as you can focus on work and get into your routine. If you need to chill out and detox to save your liver and wallet you can without the temptation of knowing your missing out on a good night out or hot chicks. The other side of the coin is that there are so many places within a short cheap flight at the weekend you have so many options to go party should you fancy letting your hair down. Jakarta usually being my go to destination

I would have to pick Indonesian girls or Vietnamese girls depending on what you want. I like personalities of both but for different reasons. Vietnam would be the place I would go if I wanted to put in some serious effort and get a long term GF or wife. Indonesia is good if you want to bang hot girls who are fun without much effort. Thai girls I could not click with but they can be very attractive. Filipinas are at the bottom as far as looks and personality. I also felt like they were not as good in bed and it felt like they just wanted to have sex to get their "foreigner notch".

Avalon shut down some time ago. It was great when it first opened but went downhill soon after. It would regularly be half empty at the weekend, operating at a loss for a good while but being a heritage location the owners were forced to keep it open. The high end lounge Pangaea (based underneath Avalon) was what was keeping it afloat all that time. Pangaea was quality and I did all sorts of damage in there in the first year I moved to Singapore. Unfortunately both have long since shut and nothing has really replaced it.

As I said, I do still enjoy living in Singapore. Living somewhere and visiting for a 2 week holiday/bang mission are two completely different things. I would never advise anyone to come to Singapore for the latter, but it's ideal (particularly for me and my line of work) to base up, get paid decent wedge and chill Monday to Friday where everything is clean, modern, works, and you can get from A to B without sitting in a 2 hour traffic jam. All the while being a cheap direct flight to practically anywhere else in Asia that I want to go whenever I feel like it.

Party strip? Hmmm you could be referring to one of a few places. Boat Quay - is the same as it always has been but that's mainly tourists and guys out to watch the football/rugby over a few pints. Not much happening there chicks wise. Clarke Quay - as mentioned above blows goats. Club St - is decent to start the night, but dies off around midnight when everyone moves onto the clubs.

Rent has always been extortionate here, but it's been coming down quite a bit lately given the mass exodus of expats and those remaining are no longer on anything like the crazy packages they were before.

Hello everyone,

Thanks for the help so far. At this point I am HEAVILY leaning toward a 4 country/city trip in SEA beginning in June for 2 months. This will be my first trip outside the US since five years ago (excluding 2 days in Amsterdam this winter), and it will be my first time anywhere besides the US, parts of Western Europe, and Iran. I am very excited with the possibility, and let me just say ahead of my questions that after I make a definite decision in the next couple of days I will dedicate the next month to reading everything on the forum from beginning to end about the cities/countries I plan to visit. This might be a long post, but I'm definitely repping anyone else that helps me out and will be also looking to meet members in these cities if anyone is interested.

The cities I have decided on in the order in which I will fly to them (each one for exactly two weeks) will be:

1. Bangkok
2. Kuala Lumpur
3. Jakarta
4. Ho Chi Minh

I ruled out Singapore because I looked at the airbnb and the costs rivaled the West. I ruled out Manila, although not 100% sure, because I love Filipinas, but I already have the flag and know a lot about the culture. The other SEA countries I ruled out because of a lack of time and/or the relative difficulty of getting the flag. I intend to see all of the world I can, but I have to prioritize.

My goal is to visit the city, lift weights at a decent gym 4 days a week, eat one meal a day (I'm on a diet to lose weight and it has been working very well), AND MOST IMPORTANTLY game as much as I possibly can (day, night, and online).

My questions for you lads are:

1. Is two weeks long enough to give myself a strong chance to get each flag if I am gaming all day? Is two weeks too long for the purpose of getting a feel of the city and getting the flag, and should I do 8 cities for 1 week a piece instead?

2. I have only been outside the US once (Amsterdam) since I've owned a smartphone, but it will be vital to my time in SEA. Does SEA have the same 4G capability as the US? I am an idiot when it comes to technology, but basically I'm asking can I walk around and have internet access on my phone without having to sit in a wifi location? Also do I have to do something special with my phone like get it unlocked by my carrier to be able to fully use it abroad in SEA?

3. Aside from the cost of a plane ticket to and from the US, the cost of tickets between SEA cities, and the cost of an apartment or hostel, is 2k US Dollars enough to last me for 2 months in this region? All I would really be doing is getting a two week gym membership in each city, eating one small meal of chicken or fish a day, and the rest would be money spent on dates or nightlife (and I don't drink unless it is for the purposes of a date or friendship). I do intend to stay where the nightlife is best, but I will definitely have to use cabs as well.

4. I just looked up the cost of private rooms in hostels in all of those cities and it seems like I can get a great room for the same or less than an airbnb apartment. I am also very open to meeting fellow travelers and getting flags from those travelers. The thing is I have only been in a hostel once and that was for 5 days in Amsterdam about 7 years ago. It was much more entertaining than being in a hotel or apartment alone, but what are your thoughts on hostels in SEA (keeping in mind I'd get a private room)? Is there any stigma attached to it with local girls in SEA? Will it be easier to pull with an apartment? I would much rather go with a hostel, but I'm not sure of the negatives. Also, do you guys know any hostels in these cities that are in a great location or awesome for partying?

5. I have never used airbnb in my life and honestly would rather avoid it. That being said I might have to use it for several reasons. Is it safe to pay for a place through airbnb, or is there a chance I could get ripped off? Every time I check airbnb in SEA I see professional looking pictures that look unbelievable and some are as cheap as $20 a night. Something just seems unbelievable to me.

I hate AirAsia and will never fly with them again. In the Philippines it was hot and they refused to turn on the air condition until they left the gate. Yes I know, they are shit. But I rather go with AirAsia than not going at all.


Stack:
1. yes, might be too long if there is a city you don't like. I did two weeks in Jakarta last year. It was way too long. I'd not do two weeks there and I'd also reconsider doing 2 weeks in KL since it is a much smaller city.
2. Yes you can get locals simcards with data. Speeds differs between countries.
3. Sure it's doable, but you won't be balling especially after costs of flight and hotel. I'd try to increase the budget or make a shorter trip. Some girls will expect you to pay for them. In Jakarta all girls will expect you to pay for them, at least in my experience. If drinks are close to $15 and you have three each you've already spent a tenth of your monthly budget and you're not even drunk.
4. Of course an apartment offers better privacy. Some hotels and hostels have no guest policies. Or you might have to pay extra to bring girls back.
5. If they have ratings from previous guests it's probably not a scam but there might be other problems that the host don't mention.

You better skip Jakarta if you're on a budget.

Yes 2 weeks in each city is an ideal amount of time! If you're not sure you want to spend that long there, maybe book 1 week in each city then leave a week free before you move onto the next country to either stay there longer or go and explore some of the nature and nice places nearby.

Yes but the 4g isn't often that great. Also, free WiFi isn't widely available like in more developed countries. You'll need to buy a sim card in each different country that you visit. You'll probably need to get it unlocked by your carrier too but maybe it already is.

I'd say no not really. It's too little. You'll survive and its still better than not going at all but you'll be pinching your pennies and won't really be able to go out on big nights out without worrying etc. Those budgets are possible (but still not optimal) for poeple who live there full time, are not travelling, have their own place and kitchen, know the city and what is cheap and what is expensive but if you're just a tourist, your costs will be higher. If you can get another 1 or 2 thousand dollars, you'll be much more comfortable.

I've stayed in hostels and they are ok but I think one of the beauties of travelling in South East Asia is that you can get a decent hotel room or apartment all to yourself for the same price as a hostel bed in the West. You'd be doing yourself a disservice by travelling that far just to stay in a hostel when there are much better options available for not much more or even the same price. People staying in hostels generally like to stick together and not really interract with the locals, try pull the girls etc so you'd have a very different experience than just throwing yourself in there with the locals. I wouldn't say there would be any stigma attached to staying in a hostel though.

I've used it quite a few times and was ripped off once (given a shitty little room in a shared place instead of a luxury private apartment which I paid for) but I took photos and complained to Air Bnb afterwards and got given a full refund so I was even happier with that (getting a free night's stay) than if I had got the nice place! Used it plenty of other times and it's always been good. And yes you can get some nice places in SE Asia for $20 a night. Everything is just much cheaper there than in the West. When you consider that $300/month is considered a decent wage in many of these places, it makes sense.

Since you're visiting so many countries you might want to get T-Mobile One Plus as your US carrier. It's about $70/month and you get free international data at 256Kbps speeds in 140+ countries. This is fast enough for most stuff, including Uber, Tinder, Google Maps, browsing, and so on, without much of a wait. It's fast enough that I haven't felt the need to buy local SIM cards in any of the countries I've passed through since switching to the new plan. It's a really great feeling to land in a new country and immediately have data available on your phone. No more trips to 7/11 with your passport in hand.

Thailand and Phils both have good LTE networks. In the Phils, most SIM cards operate on a "load" basis i.e. data quota so you have to keep topping up as you consume your data. Top-ups usually require a trip to 7/11. It's annoying, and another advantage of T-Mobile One Plus.

That is completely unnecessary. In most Asian countries you can buy a local sim card for less than 10$ right at the airport and it takes less than 10 minutes to set the whole thing up. Plus, you don't have to worry about crazy chicks knowing your phone number, which might even be linked to your Facebook

Ok, so I've been up all night and have been on the forum since midnight researching and it is now nearly 7 am. Based on what you guys have said, and I still welcome more info from others, I have come to the following conclusions:

I am uncomfortable with the thought of taking my SIM card out of my phone and replacing it, although I will do it if need be. That being said, I am going to look into what OxfordSexMachine said because I am already a Tmobile user, and it wouldn't be too bad to pay $70 twice for two months of worry free internet capability. I also have to remember to check if I need to unlock my phone.

I have a good friend who was born in China and only came to the US for the first time this year. He previously lived in Shanghai, and chances are he will be there this summer, so I am heavily considering flying there and staying for one week either with him or in a cheap hostel. I'm not too worried about getting the Chinese flag as I pretty much could have got it (I had a 21 year old tall and pale Chinese virgin student naked in front of me but I couldn't get it up) and there are so many Chinese where I'll be living come August that if I can't get the flag I'm worthless. I really just want to see up close what all the fuss is about China economically and politically.

I haven't fully researched everything, but in the SEA cities I will most likely stay in:

BKK- Sukhumvit
KL- KLCC or Bukit Bintang
Jak- Thamrin
HCMC- District 1 near Vincom Center Mall (this is the only city I was able to read an entire data sheet on tonight)

It looks like if I can find a decent deal in these areas on airbnb (and I will forgo the hostel idea entirely for several reasons), it will cost me 2k US dollars for rent for the two months plus airfare between SEA cities through airasia.

I had a bet going with my dad about something, and the deal was if I won the bet he'd pay for my ticket anywhere I want. So if he sticks to it, which I know he will, I won't pay for airfare to and from Asia.

As the-dream mentioned, 2k might not be enough for day to day expenses so I'll up that to 3k. I'm comfortable spending 5k total even though I'm a cheap ass.

Despite that though I really don't think I will spend 3k in two months in SEA just on food, gym, alcohol, dinner dates, and other small expenses. I'm on a diet where I eat less than $5 a day in the US, so I can't imagine spending even that much on my personal food in SEA (I've never been but I imagine $1 a day and I'll be set). In the US I pay $35 a month for a gym membership. Others in this thread and in such threads as the BKK one have mentioned that free trial memberships can be gotten, so I doubt I'll even spend $35 to use the gyms in these countries.

As far as dates and alcohol go I won't be cheap about it, but again I don't even like to drink. The most I usually drink with a girl is one liquor neat or a glass or (rarely) two of wine. I don't imagine SEA girls are going to be able to drink all that much anyways, so it can't be that bad. Other date costs like dinners in places like HCMC won't be too bad either because at most I'll have a salad.

I really hate to part with 5k, but I made a good amount in the stock market this year and I think visiting SEA might change my entire world view, at least as far as women go, and it is worth the expense.

Based on what I've read on this forum since I've joined a year ago the areas of the world that seem to be pussy paradises to me are:

SEA
The Nordic countries
Eastern Europe
South and Central America

I haven't seen a single one of those places and I'm almost 29. I think this is a smart move and thank you guys for your support and help.
