I've seen maybe two Turks in four days walking around... I have seen more Europeans but overall the whole place seems kind of deserted apart from the locals. There's virtually nobody in my hotel near Arcadia, for instance. I was at breakfast and there were four of us in a sea of 50-60 chairs. The city hasn't woken up yet from the Winter (not too surprising for a seaside resort I guess).

What's up everyone?

I'll be back in Kiev April 26th for at least a month, maybe (probably) longer. I was there from Late August through October of last year. Had a pretty good run. I've been to most of the nighttime spots– had better luck at Disco Radio Hall and Sorry Babushka then CHI and Skybar, though CHI on a Saturday night is fucking dope with unbelievable talent.

Through a mixture of Tinder and night game, I closed with 5 in about 7 weeks, with a few other near-closes. What worked for me was a simple direct approach. A stupid joke that isn't difficult to understand. I always made sure it was clear that I lived in Kiev. I speak hardly any Russian, but I do know a few words. It helps to make the effort.

Anyway, PM me if you're in town and want to hang.

Interesting slant - did you get tested on this front much? As in, because you 'live there' you should therefore know what's what etc. What did you do for date ideas? And what happened when you suddenly 'had to leave'? I guess this is the main thing I found with Ukrainian girls - the incessant interrogation - but 'living there' I'm sure would allay a lot of that and no doubt contributed greatly to your success as opposed to the truth.

Yeah, I definitely dealt with more than a few interrogations, but once you make it clear that you aren't just visiting for a few weeks, it makes a big difference.

And to weigh in on a discussion that I observed earlier in this thread, a lot of these girls are, themselves, playful and receptive to playfulness. The key is making sure your joke or playful behavior crosses the language barrier.

The interrogation is real. The biggest thing I've seen that helps avoid this is association. If you have a friend that introduces you, or you meet through extended friends the interrogation is either light or non existent. The english speaking groups help a ton with that as well. Even if you don't know the guy, having another native english speak they are familiar with welcome you helps a ton.

Is $800-$1000 is enough for a month in Odessa? [Rent not included]

More than enough. Just do some grocery shopping when you first arrive and you will see. So cheap just to eat and the rest is fun money. You'll be hard pressed to spend over 80 bucks to eat huge healthy portions every meal.

Edit: And i mean for a whole month.

How expensive is it in the clubs/pubs/bars, entertainment, nightlife etc in general?

All about the business lunch. Just had one. Borsch soup, basket of bread, juice and main meal of grilled chicken covered in mushrooms with rice and carrots for 87 uah ($3.25 Usd).

Depends a lot what you are planning to do and in which part of the city you stay. If you stay around Arcadia you are not going to spend too much money on taxis if you just party at Arcadia. But this means you are far away from the center and for dates and daily living the center is more convenient than staying in Arcadia. A trip between Arcadia and the center was roughly about UAH 120 last year if I remember correctly. However for peak hours it was sometimes tricky to get a Ukolon cab.

As far as other costs go it also depends what you are planning to do. If you want to spend a day in a beach club like Ibiza you would spend about $70 for a sun bed, food and drinks which is still nothing compared doing the same in a beach club in Ibiza or Miami.

Nightlife in general is pretty cheap and not more expensive than in Kiev. Arcadia clubs like Ibiza or Itaka might have some relatively high cover charges during the weekend. But when I talk about high I am talking about UAH 400 max with is still nothing compared to Western standards.

So to answer your question. If you are not drinking bottles of champagne in Arcadia every night $1000 a month would be easily more than enough.

I've had success just telling girls I was there for a few weeks. I had been before and plan to go again so that might have helped a little. Got my very first daygame conversion in Kiev this last trip and got close with a MILF I met through daygame but got cockblocked by her kid and female friend that was living at her apartment. Girl was DTF. I think if you just own it the girls who are interested don't care how long you're in town for.

Also the MILF started out pretty cold but I ended up making out with her within 20 minutes and she invited me to grab some wine right after. Went over to her place later that night to drink and smoke with her friends and everyone was very open and playful.

It was pretty cold when I got here on Sunday and there wasn't much talent out and about, but it's warmed up quite a bit and the hotties have come out in full force.

Monday and Tuesday are holidays, so it's a 4 day long weekend and the weather will be in the mid to low 20s Celsius.

Perfect weather for suiting up and hitting the streets. I noticed they're setting up stages for concerts on Kreshatik and Sofisky Sobor.

There's a great band that plays classic songs from Soviet times in Shevchenko Park most days. The locals get right into it and I saw cute girls singing the words even though all the songs were instrumental versions.

In Ukraine:

- unfriendly / cold people

- No sense of humor / don't get when you're messing around
- terrible service
- girls don't know what being playful is and don't get it when you're goofing around a bit.
- always an underlying sense of transaction even if the girl likes you

Ukrainian girls personalities overall are just shit.

Nice posturing.
Because an American can do no wrong by being "too light hearted"

It's like a Ukrainian going to California and asking, "are we too sincere with our interactions or are Americans too fake with their smiling? Honest question."

Have never been to poland but you sir have hit the nail on the head. I spent 2 months in ukraine last year and have spent 3 months in russia. Us aussies are fairly relaxed and light hearted people and it just doesnt work there!

Perhaps i should check out poland instead this year Smile

So far people has been very friendly to me. The concierge from my apartment is kinda old and I was expecting her to be so rude because I am a tourist that doens't speak Russian, but she helped me and tried to explain everything while being very kind. Far better attitudes than Budapest and Prague to be honest. I've been here just today and liked the vibe of the city until now.

RE: The Ukraine Thread III
I had a very short trip to Kiev, non-game related but i took a trip down the main street Khreschatyk. Has to be said but people aren't blowing smoke here about the beauty of Ukrainian girls, I was very impressed. Not so much in the ass department, though, I was actually a bit disappointed in that regard, but I think all in all you seem to get a much better package than that of what I see back in Poland. I'd have liked to have maybe day gamed abit (even though I'm in a relationship back in poland) just to see what the english speaking was like, as most my interactions in the city got me feeling like if you didn't know russian you were at a very severe disadvantage. Unfortunately I got locked out of my phone and had to walk around with a friend of mine, so didn't have the best circumstances to go off of.

I did see quite a few day gamers though, saw the guys who run Street Attraction in the square in front of the Mcdonalds, only familiar with them because I have seen them on 2 occasions running large PUA boot camps in Wroclaw, I suspect they had a similar gig going on during the day I visited, but maybe just coaching a couple of lads rather than a whole bootcamp. I imagine its quite common for girls walking on their own or in small groups of 2 or 3 to get approached on that street, what are general attitudes like for those day gaming there? Also what is the english level like?

In my experience Khreschatyk is hit or miss. It's the main daygame street so you'll run into a lot of girls that know whats up. It's also full of street vendors and people trying to hustle things so people are more on their guard in general there. I've had better luck approaching girls in the parks and in the subway. As far as English goes, it's also hit or miss. If you approach near one of the universities though, you'll probably have better luck. I know a tad bit of Russian so I was able to stumble my way through some sets and get a number. Used Google translate a few times as well with no problems.

The people who complain about Ukraine are the people who've failed here. It's as simple as that.

I'll take Ukraine over Poland any day of the week.

I agree with WeekendCasanova, being successful in Ukraine requires solid game and look, contrarily in Poland girls choose guys mostly randomly so game is not an important tool to have. "I am from San Francisco, do you speak english" line doesn't work well in Kiev.
