Regarding the isolation I spoke of originally. I have been searching this out lately. Getting back to some of the writings which have inspired and motivated me the most. I am going to share a quote from a brilliant man. Julius Evola in his book The Doctrine of Awakening. This speaks on the isolation I'm speaking about more then I ever could.

"Once detachment, viveka, is interpreted mainly in this internal sense, it appears perhaps easier to achieve it today than in a more normal and traditional civilization. Hey man did you read all my replies thanking people for the advice which I stated I was following? I know there are most definitely smart people here that I can learn from. However I will bite back when ridicule is thrown my way.

I think Leonard got mad because I responded in a somewhat asshole way to some of his suggestions. But I don't have to agree with every single one do I?

I know that I can be an egotistical asshole sometimes...but I also cool down after a time as well. Regarding the ego I'm kinda conflicted on some things. So the ego we need to get rid of correct?

Are strong feelings/emotions simply a manifestation of the ego? Because in that case I don;t want to be completely "detached". What's the point of living if you don;t feel intensely strong about your opinions?

I can't see myself like that because in all honesty I never feel so alive as when I'm full of rage at perceived injustices. Never so quickened and enlived to action as when furiously motivated by strong emotions.

While I understand the pitfall and ease of manipulation possible on someone who has no control over their emptions. I still would never want to live a life where I felt nothing.

Let this guy be a case study. He might be trolling, but he exaggerates behavioral patterns that are present in men that might come here and read this topic.

The trolls behavior, if it weren't an act, is destructive and infuriating for every normal, social human being. He asks for advice, then disses the people who give it. Never disrespect someone who gives you there time, money and/or attention, especially when you don't agree with them.

He also takes 0 responsibility for his current life, and outright refuses to consider that positive change might be of good influence. Yet, he schools the people here on why his way of thinking is the right one, while at the same time saying that he has problems relating to other people.

If you have trouble relating to other people and constantly find yourself reinforcing your views towards others, it is time to ignore those beliefs for a while. Look for evidence that the opposite viewpoint has something to offer besides "being the truth". For a few months, pick "being happy" over "being right" and then choose between the two.

Also, note that the guy from our case study is a dick towards everyone, while shouting that he has "thanked" people when he liked what they had to say. This is going against the grain socially, and it will make people strongly dislike you. The ones that were "thanked" included. In a best case scenario, the latter will tolerate you. You kill any social capital you may have had.

Conclusion: this particular troll is a great example of how you can fuck up socially. Do the opposite and you have set steps in the right direction.

Not "How do you stop being depressed and isolated?"

Taking all of his ridiculous posts into account it's pretty clear that he prefers depression and isolation over human interaction with those he deems inferior, which is basically everyone. All he wants to know is how to handle that lonely life of a God-King.

Couple that with references to prison rape and calling people "tiny tots" and I think that whether OP is a troll or not, he's probably barely 20 years old if that. I suspect a lot of us went through this phase, and looking back it's our solemn duty to give OP the slap he so desperately needs.
