Frankfurt, Germany
So I was in Frankfurt for 5 days and here are my experiences:
1. In comparison to Spain (and I've said this many times before) I prefer the Germanic cultures -- straightforward, to the point, efficient. Frankfurt is clean, organized and quiet but fun. A good combination.
2. Women: German women are also very direct and don't waste time. I was very pleased by what I saw in terms of attitudes. I wasn't able to hook up with anyone since I was there mostly for work and didn't go out too much.
But:
Cost of living: you get a pretty decent ratio of consumer prices relative to average salaries. Grocery prices, especially at what they call "discount supermarkets" are excellent. Germany has, I think, the cheapest groceries in Europe.
No small talk: LOVE IT. I hate small talk and all the bs about "hi how are you"?? to total strangers.
No staring (in the city at least) -- unlike Spain, people don't gawk and are rather indifferent towards you.
Jobs: Good salaries but of course you have to learn German, which is not the easiest of languages. That's one of the major things that get overlooked. Yes, English is spoken somewhat but NOT as much as you think. You definitely need German if you want to live in Germany.
There is a red light district near the Central Train Station.
All in all, if I spoke German, I have realized that Germany would be the BEST country for me to live in on the European continent. If you're an American or an English speaker, it is one of the most ideal countries to get used to in an easy way. There are plenty of cultural similarities between Germany and many places in the US but that's another story.

I'm going to confirm this diplomatic statement. I think Frankfurt is among the worst cities in Germany and bad for girls.
Finance has hollowed out the city centre, the whole place was smashed during WW2, and the girls are not receptive to daygame.
Social circle works, but I don't shit where I eat.
Nevertheless I don't want to take anything away from OP. If you are doing well there, I'm happy for you.

Frankfurt and clean? The central station is a cess pool with junkies, drug dealers and criminal minorites. It is pure degeneracy and everything that's wrong with modern western society. Some people will beg for money by saying they desperately need a ticket to go somewhere - I fell for it the first time. Then it happened again... never give beggars money.
That what you describe as germanic culture are remnants and will soon be gone. Enjoy it while you can. But moving there? Fuck that. You might notice the differences, but don't be fooled: Western Germans, especially in this multicultural hellhole megacities are cucked as hell. They wear blinders and are happy if they can go to work and pay their shitty high taxes, and thus, ultimately, for their own demise. They will be happy as long their McDonalds has free WiFi.

RE: Frankfurt, Germany
Frankfurt - Sodom and Gomorrah - Disgusting in almost everyway, should be bombed again.
Funny fact, when I was there somebody fired a shot in my hostel. Something like that never happened even after being now 6 weeks in Colombia, but in 2 days in Frankfurt, yea. Fuck that city.
Old German architecture is swimming in shit of the entire third world and the lowest of the low, the only good thing to see is when you look up at the buildings around Hauptbahnhof, if you go further you will see the magnificent EURO statue, created as glorious tribute to Empire of Nothing.
Cunts even took insides of my Zippo at the airport, that it's "dangerous". It's a joke. The worst place to live in the whole world probably. Would rather be in Lagos.

I was only there for some days but I had a positive impression of the city and the people (but then again, most people I meet are in finance and so maybe it is different in other classes/sectors).
My reaction to the girls (I didn't have time to hook up as I said earlier) but the ones I did speak with during the day were WAY BETTER than Spanish chicks in terms of attitude and being receptive. That was just my experience though so don't know if it should qualify as a rule.

The central station has junkies, yes...but that's NOT unique to Frankfurt. You wouldn't suggest other train stations in the world are filled with all well-heeled types right? I was asked for money too...I am never dumb enough to fall for such BS. I just ignore it and keep walking.
I don't disagree with the last part of your comment...but within the decadent cultural context we have, I still think the Germanic countries are more thriving than Southern Europe.

Why?
How?
Where?
Spain is known for many thing, gawking is not one of them.
Oh not at ME in particular...but they DO gawk and anyone who was lived here knows that. Even Spaniards themselves who travel will tell you that there are major staring problems in Spain...especially nice looking blonde women will get stared at in major cities with the exception of Barcelona...which doesn't even want to be Spanish to begin with.
So now Spain is like Saudi Arabia or Egypt...
Of course not...but it ain't Sweden either and actually, if you go strictly by architecture and climate, Spain would be much closer to Cairo (in appearance...ESPECIALLY Mediterranean cities) than Stockholm...but there's nothing wrong with that except to people who have an inferiority complex.
In any case, I'm focused on Frankfurt here, not on Spain.

Funny that you say that, because it is you who have the inferiority complex regarding your origins, that if my memory does not fail me, are from Spain.
And, also good that you make this wonderful comparison with Sweden, because let me inform you that it is the rape capital of Europe, and as such it is much more risky to be a blonde woman over there than in Spain.
As for Frankfurt, yes, good that you liked it, seems like the perfect place for you to be happy.

If I had an "inferiority" complex I wouldn't say where my origins are from...and not all of my origins are from Spain. I'm aware of Sweden's crime problems...but was referring to architecture and appearance, not crime stats. Lucky for me, I'm not defined by my origins but by my present and future. Worry about yourself and not so much about me. By the way, since you are Portuguese...many Spaniards have a very LOW opinion of Portugal and call your women hairy...just so you know (since you seem to idolize Spain).
As for happiness, I don't think you can really find too much of it anywhere but of course Frankfurt is more compatible with the sort of society where I feel comfortable and satisfied...especially the things I saw helped me confirm this view.

Last year, I went to Frankfurt for a weekend getaway and it was depressing even in comparison to Basel and Zurich. In my opinion, Frankfurt is as filthy as Berlin, but lacks culture and nightlife.
Totally understandable why so many middle class people live in the suburbs of Frankfurt.
OP, I'm especially disappointed that you open a new thread after visiting the city for only five days. Come back in a month or two, add an update and bring us some real info.
The suburbs were even better than the city! I visited the surrounding suburbs and were also VERY nice...nicer than Frankfurt proper.
I don't think I will be returning to Frankfurt anytime soon but who knows?
No nightlife? I saw PLENTY of it and the bars actually close later in many cases than in overrated European cities.
