I am afraid that women appreciate cruelty, downright cruelty, more than anything else. They have wonderfully primitive instincts. We have emancipated them, but they remain slaves looking for their masters all the same. They love being dominated.

I think this comes down to cost. In Afghanistan, for an M777 gun to fire off a Excalibur round, the Canadians need to get permission from the minister of defence back in Canada to authorize using the round. Apparently they cost $500,000 each.
Not sure how it might be in the US but I don't see the MOAB being cheap. Shitty deal though because that call can mean the difference between saving lives or the enemy escaping.
I googled the Excalibur round, wondering how it could be so expensive, and several links on ths first page list it as $68K or $70K. Still expensive, but more believable. It's an extended range, high precision artillery round, with 2m accuracy at 50km.

Is it not a sign of our times when a word like "colluded" is used when two government agencies work together to identify illegal aliens who violate our law?

That was the cost I remember it being when I was in the military, year ago. Also 500k is in CAD.

RE: The Donald Trump thread
Some evidence of bigly self deportations.
Quote:This comment just in from a Minuteman whose been helping guard the border for 14 years:
A friend of mine works port of entry in Nogales and I just got off the phone with him a couple weeks ago. He told me, “You’re not going to believe the amount of southbound traffic. You know they’re coming up and they got their little trailers pulling their refrigerators, washers, dryers, their big-wheels and their ten-speeds. They’re all going south! We’re not even checking ‘em, we’re just waving ‘em through.”
It’s self-deportation. They realize the gravy’s over and it’s time to roll. When they go back to wherever they came from then they can apply for visas or passports back into the country. They don’t want to get caught up here. They get caught up here and they lose everything.
Some of these people lived here 10, 15, 20 years and they own homes and cars, got businesses. They’re just throwing in the towel and getting while the getting’s good.

Holy shit.
- Trump does not fuck around
- That is an amazing reliance on accurate bomb load and targeting to get it to detonate so close to a town without wrecking it
- This is on a completely different level from Obama sending drones out all over
- Military is saying ~100 ISIS ate it during this strike
- Wikileaks is saying CIA helped build these tunnels to originally aid the Muhajadeen
What a clusterfuck, though. Stay out of the graveyard of empires.
Any way to prove this is the bomb that was dropped today?
I think Trump should send the bill to Merkel and Hollande. Ask them if they want to pay in one lump sum or like a student loan, inexcusable until their death that is personal and follows them after their presidency ends.

ICE is going to deport 4000 Somalis!
This is a win. THIS is the sort of shit I was waiting on Trump to make happen. It's been a problem for decades that some countries refuse to accept their criminal scumbags. The US can deny those countries visas and stop handing them free US taxdollars in foreign aid, but that's never been done.
It started with just a handful of adversarial countries not taking back their trash, eg. Cuba, Cambodia, and Vietnam.
But then other countries saw that the USA wasn't gonna do shit to Cuba and Vietnam, so why take back a bunch of criminal deportees? So the number of belligerent countries grew. Now it's China, Bangladesh, India, Haiti, Nigeria... over 30 countries won't accept their trash now. Of all the aid we've given to those shitholes, fuck em. Cut off all visas and foreign aid.

I saw one of those daisy cutter type bombs get dropped when I was in Iraq, freeing their people. That is half the size of that bomb, so wow.
We were at whatever it was called that they made out of the tikrit airport. The air force dropped it to clear a big minefield. Everybody knew they were going to do it so we went to watch.
The scary part was how the wind first came by the way we were facing, then a few seconds later came from behind. It made the ground shake, but not hard, and you could see sand jiggling around.
I had drove out with a navy black girl I was trying to bang. She was a warzone 10. She had a funny name like Shalamoohockey Jones or something. When the bomb went off she dug into my shoulder/armpit and a put my arm around her because I'm very sensitive. She got all pissed and said things like "muhfucker get yo muhfuckin hands off me" so all these other people were staring at her yelling at me. My feelings were hurt.
I can't imagine what watching the moab would be like.
Aloha!

RE: The Donald Trump thread
Seeing as the American public is enjoying shit blowing up, I keep coming back to the Last Psychiatrist's not-interview with NotMichaelBay on the subject...
http://thelastpsychiatrist.com/2011/07/m...d_i_j.html
Quote:Let's turn to the story (of Dark of the Moon). Numerous critics have decried the meaninglessness of much of the film's action. Why does the copier attack the office staff? What is the purpose of the giant Decepticon worm? There are plot holes and inconsistencies--
Woah! Slow down, wildman, those were on purpose. Look, we're all being raised by TV. Do you think as 4 year olds we really understood what the hell was going on on Batman or Scooby-Doo? You think your kids can really follow the plot of anything by Pixar? Since we've been able to enjoy movies anyway, without following the story, there's no incentive to follow it anymore. And since we have no incentive, we don't get no practice-- and now we can't follow a story, story gets distracting. Just like a porno. Fucking the most confusing movie ever made was voted to be... Vanilla Sky. WTF, you're confused by Vanilla fucking Sky? These lunatics aren't confused just by B plot, they're confused by B roll. So we cut that shit right out and replace it with something on fire.
You deliberately reduce story integrity while simultaneously enhancing the viso-auditory immediacy of the experience? Isn't that ultimately self-negating, even Dadaist?
Explosition, not exposition. That's how we do.
That seems--
In real life, too. President Bush knew we were fucked by history, right? He got there day 1, opened the Book, and was like, fuck me, this is what's really going on...? And then he looked at America and said, these fucktards couldn't find Iraq on a map of Iraq labeled 'Iraq', no way are these Raymond loving motherfuckers going to understand anything about labor costs and the inevitability of falling foreign reserve accumulation. Let's go with 'WMDs.'" A decade of historical analysis later and the deepest anyone's been able to go is, "they lied, it's really about oil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Jesus, what asshats. Now every time poor Obama looks over his speeches he has to say, "no good, too many syllables."
So yeah, anything that has to do with thinking or blinking is edited out in post. That's why it cost so much to make. But the original script for T3:DOTM is fucking Finnegans Wake, you can believe that shit.
No doubt it more rigorously explained the giant Decepticon worm?
Fuck you. It's looking for spice.
Remissas, discite, vivet.
God save us from people who mean well. -storm
