I find text game to be like walking in a minefield so I decided to compile a list of pitfalls that I've fallen into in recent times.

Getting into a long winded explanation. For example:
Meet me at blahblah place on Tuesday
I've never heard of it
Also called oblahblah
Movie theater?
There is a bar in there too
But I'm 19
I know bar/restaurant
OK

I've noticed after such explanations the girl's attitude changes quite a bit. I guess she succeeded to make me work for her.

Asking her questions This one is a big one. A recent article on thisistrouble.com mentions that nowadays you can ask the girl "When are you free to meet me" but in my experience it doesn't work well.

Being too mysterious. The opposite of the number one above.

Getting emotionally invested/outcome dependent. I do this to myself very often.

Letting the girl dictating the pace of messaging. If she is quick to respond I get quick too in the name of blitzkrieg-ing her. If she suddenly gets very slow I may either slow down ("punishment" but not in effect) or get anxious what the outcome will turn out to be or just get bored. (These can make me loose my frame.)

Texting unnecessary things (trying to be cute, fluff talk, trying to keep the correspondence "alive") to which girls usually don't reply

"Making sure she will come and things will work" texts For example I texted an 18 yo to bring an id with her and never heard from her again.

Applying game tactics in stupid ways. For example I'm textig with a potential sub:

What things are important to you?
Obedience, willingness to please, blah blah
Things I can do for you
So you're not obedient

I thought I was holding my frame but eh it went to garbage.

Just think about what you say before you say it, don't be a retard. Think about what a cool guy who wanted to ask a chick out for a drink would do and do that

I like to plan activities with the chick I get the number from before I get the number. This method will usually get them "number closing" me or whatever the fuck you wanna call it

If you're dealing with too many objections and bullshit, your interaction probably wasn't great to begin with and you don't deserve the girl

Snapchat closes work better than numbers for lukewarm girls if you live a somewhat cool lifestyle. Work on improving said lifestyle rather than overthinking PUA shit and 'frame' and I can assure you this will all seem like less of a minefield for you

Good to know that you're not a retard! What activities do you plan with them?
This lifestyle thing is more of a triviality and has been mentioned by others as well. For example in Sovereign Man it is mentioned that if you're already fucking a number of quality girls then it will be much easier to get new ones. Sure you don't need to be a genius to see this! I can improve my lifestyle but there is no good lifestyle without others in it. And those others, as you say, are attracted to a good lifestyle so this is a catch 22. I can tell you a little secret, although you may have noticed it, I'm pretty much isolated and this goes way back to my childhood. OK I'm not a looser, I have a decent job and a nice and tidy pad. So here is the vicious circle:

Isolation -> un-naturalness, un-coolness, neediness, curtness, un-empathy -> isolation

There are things that improve my mood to an extent such as cardio and lifting but still do not replace actual social life.

@duedue - serious question - what attempts have you made at making new friends - male or female?

Sometimes just having people to hang with, grab a beer, checkout out a bar on the weekends can get you started on the path to easing up, and becoming more social around people.

So let's talk a little and get REAL here, what is that you really want?
Getting out of isolation? Becoming good at texting? Be a pussy Smelling kind of dude?
If you want something badly you'll find that the best way to get it is to go after it no matter what is in the way

You want a lifestyle that bring pussies?
Get out of here, that's some contradictory shit:
Pussy bringing lifestyle is some kind of myth people keep hanging on hoping that pussies will keep falling around them without having to do shit and to add to this guys need to ask themselves what KIND of pussy this will bring.

You want new friends?
Bring value, what is the best way to bring value to other men? Bring the party with you aka bring fun, women and throw those at them!

Good body? Nope
Good clothes? H&M is enough no need no expensives suits
Money? Can you pay for some coffee?

Actions will desensitive you, bringing you a new demeanor that will bring what you want.

I bet you read a lot, no one is able to get that kind of deduction alone without a minimum of intelligence but remember that Discomfort is allievated by Action so instead of complaining to people who don't give a flying fuck about your situation in life start doing something to get traction in your life.

I don't think deviating from the original thread topic is against forum rules so the topic can be changed to the related topic of "duedue's personality defects".

When you say "having people to hang with" I guess you mean people I've already met. However my problem is at the very initial stage of getting to know someone. This is where I usually don't make a good impression. I've identified some of my "personality defects" that contribute to this. blk mentioned "complaining to people who don't give a flying fuck about your " but at the very least writing this helps me organize my thoughts on the topic.

1-Being negative/complaining
2-Giving people the wrong impression that I care about them. (For example it's happened several times that a girl thought I was into her but I was just being polite.)
3- Appearing clingy (through body language or slow reactions)
4-Appearing meek (For example a CS host once described me in his review as "shy and timid at first" and at least we here know that this is very bad.) This can result in acting passive-aggressive.
5-Not being cool/fun/engaging/relaxed


All of these can be summarized into "not demonstrating high value". No. 1 is the easiest to remedy and I've got over it mostly. (Although a higher level is not to express any doubts in my abilities even indirectly.) No. 2 can be remedied by asking fewer questions and being less generous in making eye contact. Arrogance helps with both No. 2 & 3 although I don't know how to become more arrogant! (Lifting helps a little.)

No.5 is the most difficult. I think "fake it till you make it" is what the manosphere suggests for this problem but I find it very difficult to fake such traits.


@blck You miss the point. You talk about logistics and I talk about mood and social skills. Believe me, my pad, my clothes, my car, my job, etc are very decent. I invite some of my friends over for drinks from time to time. But people who accept the invitation are those who already know me pretty well; those whom I just got to know usually give me an excuse.
