RE: Losing weight: When your body just refuses to
I'll take a pic when I get home.

Dumbells: I mean doing 3 series of 15 repeats for biceps training, and the same for triceps training. For now I'm not looking for the perfect 6-pack, just a decent-looking shape.

Regarding the lipo, I got 2 litres sucked out.

@BrewDog How come?

It is true that there is a lot of scamming going on with personal training. I once tried a "personal trainer" I found on a classfields site, he seemed legit, and when he arrived to my place, he was reeking of smoke. I turned him away. This makes me reclutant to find one, and all the good trainers out there end up paying for the few rotten apples.

Did you cut out the rice in addition to bread and pasta? Maybe you need to try a strict low carb diet to start cutting the weight. Also sounds like unnatural bloating around the stomach, perhaps you need to make an appointment with an allergist.

Also, thanks very much for correctly using "lose" instead of "loose" when referring to losing weight. Biggest grammar pet peeve of mine.

@Rawmeo

Sounds good. In addition to pics, it would help if you posted exactly what you eat in the course of a day, being 100% honest with any cheats/snacks. Also, what is your age, or a range if you don't want to give personal info?

Are you taking starchy foods that may or may not be low in fat?
I have a similar metabolism to that which Leonard describes for his sister, strangely enough I proccess dairy quite well but starch makes me feel (and probably look) bloated

Bullshit. Fasting is simply a means to facilitate cutting calories.

More fuckarounditis. Aside from the fact that DNP can kill you, as another member already pointed out, you will will be not be successful cutting with DNP if you do not already have your diet and lifting dialed in.

And you do not.

I feel like the OP is so fucked and uneducated on how this works and is unwilling to listen that he probably just needs to get a trainer and a nutritionist.

And don't try dinitrophenol. It can really actually kill you.

^This.

Although I suspect OP might fail even with the assistance of a trainer and a nutritionist.

I feel like we're being trolled.

I don't know where the OP is from, but I can't help but notice that everyone on this forum who speaks broken, shitty, foreigner geek english has a terrible understanding of how fitness works.

Agree. This stuff isn't complicated lift weights, do some cardio, and eat right. And why are you only doing this for 2 months at a time? You need to stay on the grind to get result. And please god do not take DNP.

There is being trolled and there is facing un-éducation
OP think that 30 push ups is hard? That's what his body and brain are telling him
You guys think that's easy for everyone to lose fat (and it probably is) or going over the calories unbalance threshold but only if you how to do it and being ready to keep up the good work even if it's killing him
OP might spend his day on the politics forum dispensing his knowledge but not so much here
Fasting might mean leangains.com for everyone but it might only mean skipping dessert for him
OP if you're serious about it keep us posted on your gains at least each month.

Here are the 3 things you need to know about weight activity :
- Intensity (how hard it is for you)
- Load (how much you lift)
- Time under pressure (how long you can keep working)

So you're able to do 30 push ups in 30s ? Try to do the same 30 but slow down the pace (not in the rest phase) until you do it in 45s and then 1mn
You're exhausted and can't do more? GOOD now do one more serie because that's when you can't do more that your muscles start working
Then add some abs and bodyweight squats and do the same.

Understand that it is not when things are easy that you get the good results but only when you get passed the pain threshold that things starts becoming interesting.

Tell them too much, they wouldn't understand; tell them what they know, they would yawn.
They have to move up by responding to challenges, not too easy not too hard, until they paused at what they always think is the end of the road for all time instead of a momentary break in an endless upward spiral

Maybe. It just blows my mind how he's like "oh yeah I have a belly extrusion, maybe I should try DNP" LITERALLY one of the most dangerous weight loss compounds you could possibly take. You overdose on it, you fucking die. Period.

That's what sets my troll radar off.

Well people were asking him about his T levels without even knowing his full diet, pics, or full workout plan. I don't think troll, but no offense this is an example of how hard good advice is to find and how to distinguish it from bad advice for a beginner.

RE: Losing weight: When your body just refuses to
Here's the belly pic, taken from the side.

I have no special diet plan but I strictly avoid sugary drinks. I try to avoid pasta and bread but I eat perhaps one time per week. I didn't make any workout plan because my current goal wasn't to get ripped, but rather to lose some weight and have a normal shape - then I'll worry about getting a 6-pack. My current routine is running 40 minutes per day using the treadmill's "weight loss" program, which means peaks of high speeds (6.5 mph) and medium speeds (5.0 mph).

Regarding DNP, I know the dangers associated with it so I'm trying to avoid - but let me tell you that it's been running through my mind lately.

RE: Losing weight: When your body just refuses to
Well you don't need a "special" diet plan, but you need a diet plan of some sort, even if it only involves counting macros. If your goal is to get into shape, lool into either the starting strength program or the 5x5 program mentioned earlier.

To be frank, your workout plan is complete shit for a man, and based on your pics I'm assuming your diet is also. Abstaining from certain foods is not a plan unless if everything else in your diet is already in check. It seems you have the order of things backwards. The plan you are on now simply is not good. The treadmill at those low speeds will not burn alot of calories. You will make faster progress lifting free weights, which will help build your upper body as well. A large upper body will take away the focus from your abs, even if your abs arent perfect yet. Based on your current shaoe, weights shouls be the meat and potatoes of your workout plan, not the treadmill. Squats, lunges, presses, and pullups should also take priority over bicep curls and tricep curls, looking up the workout plans I provided will give you more detail.

Check out the bodybuilding.com forums for more advice, they have tons of great guides for beginners, which is what you are. The good news is youvrealize something is not working and are looking for help, I hope, you just keep an open mind about how much help you truely need, since your entire workoul/diet program needs a complete revamp.

RE: Losing weight: When your body just refuses to
After seeing your pic... You're just skinny fat, bro. Aka you have no muscle, and plenty of fat.

Luckily enough the fix is simple, but not easy.

Start getting in 200 grams of protein a day through meat, eggs, milk, and whey protein, over the course of 4-5 meals per day.

Drink only water, milk, and protein shakes.

Keep your total calories right around 2000 calories a day for now. Try and get a couple servings of vegetables per day. Get your carbs from sweet potatoes, brown rice, white rice, and whole milk. Try and avoid eating foods you know are obviously shitty for you.

Start doing either stronglifts or starting strength. I reccomend starting strength, it really helped me get started. Go for a walk every day.

Nothing fancy here. You're going to train with weights and eat a diet with plenty of PROTEIN and whole foods. Give it a year.

As an experiment OP, it would be worth taking a pic where you are fully relaxed and a pic where you are bringing in and contracting your abs. There's a big difference between the two states.

RE: Losing weight: When your body just refuses to
OP I truly suggest that you get a really good trainer to point out what your currently doing wrong. I suggest the same nutrition wise. If you insists on doing it yourself... check out Omarlsuf and AlphaDestiny on YouTube. I truly feel the 2 Youtubers will lay the basics foundations that you need to grasp.

Not trying to diss you... but your current routine is making it WORSE for you. STOP. Having a belly like this while working out AND after a liposuction = These something seriously wrong in your eating habits. At this point your ego might be bruised and say fuck these Forum guys and all... but just chill & take some of our advice. Keep in mind that If you want things in your life to change... You have to change things in your life!

And be patient as well! That belly won't go away tomorrow or next week or next month! You eat an "elephant" 1 bite at a time... be patient. After you start doing the right things long enough... and you'll be compensated. And please please... stay away from DNP. It can kill you... and you must have a thorough knowledge to minimize it's danger. You ain't ready for that my friend. Start doing things right... and you won't even need it!

Don't expect to change things overnight, you're probably looking at 2 years of hard work before you have a relatively good body.

For your Cardio segment I'd advise getting a jump rope ,you ll burn more than in the threadmill and you don t need to start hardcore with it.

It may have already been asked but I'm on a hurry (and still posting, lol) so I'll ask at trisk of repeating:

Go look up the Rapid Fat Loss thread. Started by Hannibal on this forum. But I wouldn't do this until you pack on some muscle.

Not to be a dick, you just don't have any muscle.

It has been stated many times, a caloric deficit and weight training. Do IF (just keep your eating to an 8 hour window).

You should make some decent muscle gain since you don't have much. You can transform your body, just apply yourself. Then do RFL to cut some fat. It works, just be disciplined.

Maybe a pic of you standing in front of a mirror. It will give the guys an idea of your muscle mass. Without the belt trying to hold up your stomach. This can be your before pic.

Good luck OP!

Bulk first then diet. 1800 calories a day and you'll be lean in 6 months tops.

You need to start a real workout program. Squats, deadlifts, bench press, etc. Join a gym and go hard 4 days a week. What you're doing now is hardly a workout. Especially if you think 6.5 mph is a high speed on a treadmill. That's a light jog at best.

I tried finding workout programs online but most of them are either trying to sell you something, or just plain shit. What would be a good resource to help me get started with a workout plan?

I get enough sleep - I sleep almost 9.5 hours per day. That's something important for me. I do not set alarms until I have an important appointment and let my body wake me up naturally.
