Medellin is a city where blatant gringos get very little action. The key to success is learning Spanish and integration. Digital Nomad faggotry isn't rewarded here like it is Thailand. That's a good thing, because most digital nomads I've met are lame as fuck and I'd hate for them to infest Medellin.

The reason OP's roommates are not getting laid as much is because Medellin does have a learning curve. It literally gets 100x easier once you reach a certain level of Spanish. Also one of his roommates (the guy with 1 tourist lay) used to be good at getting girls around 4-5 years ago... but now he struggles. I hung out with him in Toronto and he wasn't getting laid. I don't know about his other roommates though, I think they just might be new to Colombia and stuck in Western modes of game, and probably don't have good Spanish.

However, I do believe Prince Charming is telling the truth.

Here's why-

1) He has a ton of time to meet girls and go on dates. It's entirely doable to bang 3-4 girls a week if you have the time to meet a ton of girls. Even 5 for 5 is possible if you get lucky and are meeting a massive quantity of girls.

2) He's been to Medellin before, so this time his Spanish seems to be better (at least conversational).

3) It sounds like his standards were lower when he arrived. From other sources I've also heard his standards are different than other people's. Which is fine and totally understandable. All good. I like black girls too. In general black girls tend to be easier.

I don't have the time to meet girls 24/7.... but if I did it'd be pretty easy to bang a ton of girls in Medellin.

I'll be in Medellin along with THC fairly soon... so we'll report back. THC is a boss and pulls some pretty hot girls.

The goal is to really up the quality over the next couple of weeks for me. I've been doing well banging 7.5s but its time to up the quality.

That and because I've been in Medellin. I've seen some pretty gringo guys in Medellin, and they didn't get theesomes and hot girls every night. I have two friends in Medellin that are really good looking men with green and blue eyes and they are cool as shit and will hit up the girls. And they get laid lots, but not like Prince Charming. Perhaps that Prince Charming guy is really special. dunno. I'm not a bad looking guy myself I think, but I don't get this level of action in Medellin. I've done some damage in that city, but not to this level.

I'm not completely sure what's going on with this guy, but a lot of the stuff he's doing would cockblock him even with ugly and poor girls. You don't just automatically get ugly and poor girls in Medellin or anywhere else. You can mess up with them just like you can with quality girls.

Yeah, a bit hard to figure out. Although I haven't met PC, I'm in a whatsapp group with him and have seen his pic; he seems like he's a decent-looking guy. I'm guessing that he can't communicate well due to the language barrier and any oddities are attributed to cultural/communication differences. He seems like he's having a good time, which Colombianas love; it sounds like he likes to dance, is always happy, and aggressive, which might be the key.

I add that I am rediculously persistant. Im meeting at least 2 new girls a week that have flaked on me 5 -10 times before I finally get them out. Unlike any other place I have been, flaking in colombia does not seem to affect the likely hood you will get flaked on in the future. Ignore and proceed. Drama!

Had two girls on the way to meet me at the same time monday night. Both of them I had fucked a few times and then they had broke up with me reccently. This was to be reconsiliation. For the ride home I have no problems cause the girl can search her place on the map.
As for the promocode. I highly recomend you install uber outside of colombia. My friend got tons of free rides using your tip but he was getting 20k free rides a pop because he installed uber in canada. For me I installed in colombia and my code only give 4k free rides. not worth it

^^ Interested in this too. Will be in Medellin for at least a month soon. Planning to stay in Poblado for the first week then move to Laureles for a more authentic Colombian experience, less gringos, cheaper prices etc.

The best part about Laureles, near la 70 in particular is that its flat so you're not constantly going up and down hills like in Poblado. The area isn't as fancy but over the past few years quite a few new restaurants and cafes have opened and they're pretty nice. I like Pico de Botella on la 70 for cheap beers on the side walk patio, there's some decent wings and burger soots across the street. There's a cafe/bar that an English guy recently opened between la 70 and Unicentro, I forget the name but I think its on Circular 2, that's a nice spot too, so is Cafe Revolución.
