Yeah it depends on what jacket you buy but leather jackets never go out of style so having a quality one is always a good investment.

Since I have started to rock that bad boy/DTF look I have noticed you def have to play the part as well. I have no problem with it. Since it seems to be working I am trying to master the congruency. Its not super easy but im getting there. It commands presence in the places I go to and that mystique has been fantastic for meeting girls so far.

Its not like a "typical ghetto/hood" look either it has a whole different spin on it which i like.

I am the same. I don't like jewellery, chains, beads, bangles on my person. One of my lizards' in the past, bought me a gold chain to wear around my neck. She also bought me a silver bracelet for my wrist. It felt restrictive so I put it in my drawer and never used. Going off of the Archie theme of anger, how do you lot check your lizards? If your lizard gets way out of line, have you actually insulted the lizard or do you just amicably go your separate way?

I recently had to tell one of the lizards in my pipeline not to communicate with me anymore. I wished her all the best and sent her an emoticon blowing kisses. I am wondering if showing more emotion will resonate with them but to be honest, that's not an area that I enjoy (showing obvious annoyance). That's an area of game I have to work on as I generally show restraint and control 90 something percent of the time.

I'm at a similar dilemma. I usually refrain from "telling a bish about herself," and just quietly moving on. However, recently, I've felt an increasing desire to check and call out poor behavior. Half of me feels like being the better person and taking the high ground while the other half feels obligated to the next man to put this bish in her place, lol. Somehow, the former still feels right though.

Moma and Dime, i went through that just yesterday. I told a broad not to invest in a certain Ponzi scheme and explained how it works and is bound to fail. She complained I was restrictive and ''invested'' nevertheless.

The scheme crashed and she lost a pretty penny.

Thought she'd of learnt her lesson but no.

Next up I learnt she had put money in the Swiss Gold pyramid scam.

Spoke a few words to her over whatsapp and kicked her out of my life.

If she wouldn't listen the first time, she wouldn't listen ever.

Quick lil edit for the op. Thats something I learned the hard way. My blue bill days socially I was very congruent to this mindset but when seduction came I was a total wimp and it was a violet turn off to girls. Part of the reason I had to start coming in hot and using weird IDGAF ways to get a woman's attention.

I don't even think its about "game" entirely. Its about the aggression that they perceive blacks have. Anything you do along those lines non-verbally they will be receptive to 100X over as it comes from you a black man.

Yeah, we are perceived to be very aggressive, and everyone else less so. Add in a strong body and more assertive behavior - and some non black chicks are all over that. Same thing that makes some non black women excited is the same thing that makes some non black men nervous.

To high's question, regardless of race, if you look the part but don't act the part a bitch gets frustrated.

I have figured this out as well. Once AGAIN why I have changed my whole approach here in Germany to what you guys have been seeing. I can't approach German girls with the same style/game that German guys are able to approach with. "White boy game" does work here to an extent but you are going to be limited in how much you can do. Im finding as a black man you are going to have to come at another angle.

I am not at all worried about WA's of coming in too hot and having the girls say "all you black guys want is sex" because I'd rather lose her for pushing too hard than not pushing enough at all. You are going to lose her more often for not being aggressive enough than not being aggressive at all. I find its also easier to pick up the signs women throw from you being too pushy than you not being pushy enough.

I get the feeling that a lot of the time many brothers try to acquire certain interests to distance themselves from what they feel are negative perceptions of themselves. I think in many cases it comes across as submissive when dealing with women, particularly white women. Much in the same way certain people have a completely different type of voice at work to make YT folk feel comfortable, it comes off as supplicating. If you truly identify with being a 'nerd' or an 'intellect' then that should exist independent of whether a YT woman is cool with it or whether it satisfies her mandingo fantasy or not.

As a black man I feel like you have to be conscious of your history and collective past when it comes to these issues because when you are, you realize many times your merely an escape or a form of entertainment to these types of chicks. Whether you like to wear Jordans or Cole Haan shoes shouldn't really be an issue to anybody, regardless of what the pocket square brigade says. Or the fact that you ask for the house wine instead of a 4Loko. I think the fact you went into went to a dating situation looking for that same acceptance many brothers look for in a professional world and never find, is what creates that deflated feeling.

As a collective, black men are not seen as nerds or intellectual.
