My idea of going 100 percent at game is to be always thinking about it (I am assuming we are talking about lays here), always trying to pull lizards, get SNL's, upgrade to the 8's, 9's, 10s of our locale where every major second of one's being involves trying to pull the lizard in. If that is not what you mean then I apologise.
It's not at all what I mean.

That's also not what I mean.
Both of these flow into the same compromising narrative.

If the person is in that industry then I see nothing wrong and I still wouldn't see that as 100 percent game since they are in the ideal position where an ideal balance is struck. The truth is, not everyone wants to or is cut out to be in that sort of industry. If they are not, they still need to eat and they still need currency to move around and do different things. They still need to work or hustle. I am not saying that while they do that, they just cut off game but again, a balance has to be struck.
Yeah, I'm not talking about some RVF fantasy land either.

I believe in the fitness piece as I have seen it work for myself but I don't subscribe to the mindset of one dedicating 100 percent to that element. In the instances, I mention, I still speak towards striking a balance. I
Archie what I want to ask you is this: Give me a clear example of what it is to pursue Game 100 percent and list the rewards and I will counter that by stating what happens if balance is not sought.
I'm not even talking about pursuing game 100%, or doing it halfway, or doing it a little at a time.
I'm saying that is the wrong paradigm.
I can break down a "holistic" schedule of
- eating properly
- working out effectively
- training your eye for style
- incorporating approaches in your daily interactions
- using strategy to climb the corporate ladder
- judiciously using your time/multi-tasking your meeting of new sexy women
But that's not at all what I'm talking about.
To even go down that route would betray the spirit.
All of that game/life/work balance basically fits game into the framework of your daily.
This is bigger than that.
Most guys are thinking about how.
I'm thinking about
why.
What is this thing that men are trying to achieve?
Why do they want that that thing?
Why are they going about it in a particular fashion?
Game is merely a tool here - but it's a tool that gets you to rethink what it is you want.
Most guys just use game to get the things they've been told to want
Things that have been marketed to them.
There are deeper questions here.
Going back to the original thought of men wasting their lives in pursuit of the "brass ring" - ideally that's what game can show you. That you are wasting your precious life, your time..
1) That the way you're going about life isn't working. Most people aren't meeting these goals in life that they set.
2) That the things that you're going after - it's not clear that getting the "thing" will get you what you actually desire.
Man is an animal, but not merely an animal.
I know a lot of dudes just want me to break down technique and give insight - but the very top of this pyramid is how you view life.
Like the jungle analogy
- one guy is just chopping trees
- his manager is telling him to sharpen his knife and how hard to chop and when to chop
- the leader look at the map and says "wrong jungle"
To get better at this game thing, one needs to lift their perspective.
Like I was intimating in the limits of cold approach - the limit is literally in the word -"cold". How do I make approaches WARM? That's where social circle, online game, and basically playing with ideas bigger than just looking good and having some good lines and comebacks.
That should make sense to guys. That they have more tools in the tool box, more things that they can try out.
But does it ever get them to THINK?
If man views life as one where things are separate and distinct entities but also can be incorporated into your life - that's basically a trap.
It's like the guy who memorizes all of the openers he reads online.
Maybe he can with practice, construct new openers, but does he ever get to the point where he understands the purpose of the opener and comes at the problem from a different angle?
-------------------------------------------------
100/0, 50/50, 60/40, 0/100
^That's how I interpret what these guys are saying.
"Here is how I allocate my time."
I'm not even saying 100/100 - like being a pimp or a strip club manager.
Even if I was saying such nonsense - we both know that such allocation is some bullshit. People try this stuff and fail, over and over again.
I'm saying that guys need to reevaluate their time and their goals and what they want.
I don't know what you guys want.
I do know that the mentality that divides the world into
- all game
- all money
- all working out and clothes
- 50/50 or
- game integrated into everything
is just the wrong paradigm entirely.
Guys struggle with
not thinking like this because they need something else to replace it immediately, or they can't cope.
The follow up question to what I'm saying will always be
"What else is there?"
And dudes get frustrated because the answer doesn't come to them easy.
That's the point though.
They've been spoonfed and indoctrinated so thoroughly that they literally cannot imagine anything other than these reductive ideas.
So to recap
1) The idea of extreme or balance is wrong
2) How do you know it's wrong?
You look at the world and see that most people FAIL when they try either.
3) Fail how?
Whatever it is they're trying to achieve they aren't getting it.
4) So what conclusion should one draw from going to the extremes, being balanced, being holistic?
That it fails. Fails spectacularly and regularly.
5) Now what?
Rather than pursue something we know, WE KNOW, fails - we should then THINK about other ways to do it, but also about other goals and other values, etc.
We need to reexamine what it is that we're trying to do.
Where cats come into a post trying to shut it down - i'm trying to open it up.
I get lurkers inboxing me on the regular, agreeing with me, or asking for particular advice.
That's cool and all, I love the peeps.
But I'm trying to get folks to think differently.
