Okay I'll start the thread, as soon as I join the gym. Also, I've caught a viral/ fungal infection.

Edit: Went to the nearby gym. The trainer has asked me to start from Sunday.

Harami, just make sure you have a plan at the gym and not just go there and try things out for a month. This is EXTREMELY important. Lifters much better than me will tell you that. Read about compound lifts especially.

I started with Stronglifts 5x5 .. I think 3 days a week about an hour each of lifting. The other 2 days i still went to the gym and did sprints at that time. I saw results within a month having not ever lifted before that.

I'm not promoting it as god's gift, nor pretending to ve a fitness expert but as a beginner it worked for me at the age of 35.

My base goal is to lose the leg muscles/fat so I can wear better pants/jeans. Upper body, I don't want to end up looking like a bodybuilder, I prefer the athletic structure. Does that make any sense?

No dude that doesn't make any sense. Please explain. Can you please start with explaining how your "leg muscles" got so large? I think a lot of us are curious.

You're getting way ahead of yourself about body "structure" etc. Given that, why don't we take a few steps back and start with you going into the gym. That's it; nothing more as a first step. Otherwise, I think you'll set your expectations way too high.

They tend to have the attention span of an ant and they'll flake all the time for some mystery meat from Tinder (this happens a lot if you take a number and try to set up a date, regardless of how interested they are initially. this shouldn't really be a surprise to anyone though), or a million other things. Don't even think about just trying to get and actually use numbers; if you don't want to aim for Same days in college from cold approaches you may as well just use Tinder too, because your number conversion rate is laughably low. Obviously if I tighten my game a lot of this might become a lot less of a problem, but even so these are some major challenges for college guys trying to cold approach on campus.

It seems like a novelty problem. The girl may be interested in you up front, but she can so easily flip to another guy and then another guy that her brain becomes hardwired for this 'new guy novelty', that you and your approach become old news very fast. It's like some sort of social porn for her: get tired of one person flip to another chat message or another profile and on and on. It's very hard especially if you're inexperienced to have the kind of novelty required to keep a girl high on these social apps interested, especially if you don't go for the same day.
