Seriously, especially as it relates to the Swedish question it is for two reasons that they gravitate toward "urban" looking black males. First-the "urban" style is popular, so popular that even non "ghetto" people adapt the style, use the slang , and consume the music. Second-Bad boys ,or perceived bad boys, have the swagger, the attitude and the look that is desirable to women in general.

Its funny. I was at Chipotle a couple of days ago. I see a couple on line (pretty snowflake with a "hood" brother). I'm thinking of all the stereotype scenarios until he opened his mouth and starting talking. He was a well spoken/educated gentleman. I felt bad because I too fell victim to racial profiling... and I'm black!

This thread isn't really about black men, it is about losers, and the OP has a limited data set. Where I live is about 99% white, and at the grocery store I go to, I have been chatting up a cute counter girl when she is out on her smoke breaks.

It's cool, we have good conversations, but on several occasions I have seen her rush out of the store tapping away furiously at her phone, and when I get outside, she is always talking to a different trashy guy, grubby, potty mouthed, demanding cigarettes and cash, missing teeth, one time even still carrying the plastic bag from jail where they keep your possessions.

I feel bad for her because she is smart and conscientous and hard working, but is dealing with a slothful and demanding family, and I am pretty sure she is the only one who has a job and everyone else leaches off her. She once told me she has low self esteem, and I told her, bad game, I know, that that is ridiculous, because she is the only worker in the whole store who is worth a lick, and she is scrambling to make ends meet and get a place of her own, and I just told her she was great, and that she should have good self esteem.

And I mean she liked it, and she ran over and gave me a big tight hug and it made her day, but there just isn't the same light in her eye, the same frantic purposefulness, as when some total trashy guy comes over with his uncontrolled emotions self inflicted drama filled life, and just stands there demanding stuff.

Doesn't even bother me, seen it all before. This is where her poor self esteem really shines, and makes itself known, and reveals itself not to be a character flaw but a deeply held value, in the men she chooses to obsess over.

She will never get away from her family, or rise up economically and make something of herself. I don't know if she does drugs or not, probably does, meth if the neighborhood is anything to go by, but she has made her choice, and she will take the excitement and drama of the loser who brings her down. Count on it.

Yeah, not a race issue. Remove all the black gangsters, and there will be a bunch of white low lifes to step in and take their place instantly, seamlessly, and life will continue on as it always has, with the good men scratching their heads and wondering why women so adamantly blow up their lives so purposefully.

Yeah, this is what betas do, although they do it with arrogance and resentment, and never let it go. Good men do it too though, and even if you learn game, do you really want to be constantly running interference on the thoughts and proclivities of a girl whose heart is in the gutter?

Let it go. Move on. All of these emotions come from an assumption that this girl is somehow lowering herself, when the truth is she is following her heart, and she happens to have a heart that isn't worth following. Something they never consider in the chick movies she watches.

Perceived bad-boys are paper tigers. They have the swagger and attitude until they meet a truly bad boy or a guy who just does not give a fuck, or has nothing to loose. Not quite as bad, but I would describe my LTR girl as "cute", while her somewhat younger housemate as "hot."
