It's the 2nd woman who got up who throws the glass, not the 1st lady.

To be honest, he went way overboard in his rebuttal to the first woman.
A good comedian knows how to maintain frame in a situation like that....he just comes across as butthurt.

This comedian is not funny at all. How did he become comedian? But, I also had same thoughts about what monument when I went to Washington. That thing is one of the ugliest monuments I ever saw in my life.

Without knowing any background, the guy looks slightly above an open mic'er. There can't be more than a couple dozen people in that room.

I thought he handled the heckler decently. I've never done stand-up, but I've given speeches and have used scripts for sales presentations. It's tough to deal with someone throwing you off when you're trying to speak from memory.

The Trump joke was lighthearted and funny. That dumb cunt could've fucked that dude up if that glass hit his face. His recovery was solid and he kept the crowd on his side.

The comedian did nothing wrong.

She was a heckler but a comedian should go after them in a way that won't get them pumped up to do things to you.

He said "by the way you can suck my balls". A guy saying that to a woman and she is within throwing distance? Guy isn't using his advantage to get one over her and looks emotional.

Would he say the same to a guy who'd kick the shit out of him? Something tells me he wouldn't.

John Caparulo is pretty damn funny. He joked about Trump (and a rather benign joke at that), the woman flipped out, and she threw shit at him. I guess the joke was too much for the poor snowflake to handle. Sad!

If a person votes for a candidate and pins their hopes on him while taking this whole democracy thing very seriously then I can imagine that person gets pissed if someone calls their candidate a dick.

I know it's not illegal but neither is calling a person a dick to their face. It just shows a lack of respect.

If someone called you a dick I would say sure throw the glass at them, that will teach them. It's no different when thats your candidate/friend/hero whatever.

You dont go around insulting people for laughs then complain when someone attacks you. People need to think before opening their mouths.

It's a comedy show. Comedians tell jokes. Calling Trump a "dick" is hardly the worst thing that has been said about him.

Am I correct to presume this also means that Hillary supporters and liberals who are called names are justified in throwing things or attacking people who called HRC a "cunt" or "bitch" rather than being dismissed as butthurt "snowflakes?"

Comedy or no comedy, an insult is an insult. I dont understand your point and this was a very divisive election. Not the topic to be making 'jokes' about, especially if they are just thinly-veiled personal insults.

My point is that one of the prevailing themes of posts on this board is that liberals are soft snowflakes that can't possibly handle anything that challenges their world view. However, a woman who goes to a comedy show gets so upset about a comedian saying "Trump is a dick" that she storms out and throws a drink at the comedian, and her reaction is essentially brushed off as "well, you say shit about someone's candidate, gotta expect people are going to get upset!" If someone threw a drink on Joe Rogan, or even Ann Coulter or Milo, the reaction here would immediately be "poor snowflake couldn't handle it!" Just a clear double standard.

Well, she did pay for the ticket and probably took the Trump insult personally, which is understandable if she had any vested interest in him winning. I mean what if you say to some Black people that Martin Luther King is a dick during the time he was alive, I suppose you think that would be wrong?

Liberal snowflakes are different because they are not being personally insulted rather they are getting violent at Milo's speech where he is, as far as I know, respectfully making a point about politics. A personal insult is completely different to a making a point respectfully.

Just to take your Milo example: he has openly mocked a transgender student at the student's school, said disrespectful things about women, etc. I realize that the prevailing theme here is "good, these degenerates deserve it!" However, to say that that type of behavior is somehow "respectful" and does not warrant violence (which I will agree with! Protests and demonstrations are fine, but I don't agree with the violence) while a comedian telling a (admittedly kinda lame, and I like John Caparulo) joke about Trump suddenly turns into this deep, cutting personal insult worthy of such a reaction is pretty disingenuous and smacks of mental gymnastics in order to further the argument

I mean, isn't that kind of the whole idea behind the forum's (admittedly hesitant) support of people like Milo (and, to a large degree, Trump)? That people should be free to say what they want--that speaking your mind is a desireable trait? However, when what is being said goes against your beliefs or "insults" your hero, all of the sudden it is a damnable offense?
