This is a mentally ill dude from my area that went on a mini-rampage a month ago at my local 7-11. I filled up there about 7 hours before this happened.

Police converge on Stanmore Rd and a short time later a police dog allegedly finds Ms Amati lying in the front yard of a property along the road.

And get this, he's even being housed in a female prison.

If I was a victim I'd be in court making whatever statement I could to put this animal away for as long as possible. I don't care if its a jail or a psychiatric facility, but I'd want it put away for years. I'm sick of this 'It was the drugs so its not my fault' abrogation of responsibility.

I don't see the difference in doing it on purpose, doing it on drugs or not remembering doing it because you are crazy.

The penalty for all of the above should be the same, ie based on the crime.

Sure we can treat you for mental illness in jail, because that's where you belong to protect the public and to be punished for your crimes.

Well spotted, Conscious Pirate. I saw this on the news when it happened and just presumed it was an unfuckable female junkie.

There are a fuckload of stories about Karl. A fucking fuckload. I know exactly who they are talking about. This person was infamous for attention-seeking well before he got his snip-snip.

The more militant union organizers move around Sydney a lot causing trouble. It was never illegal trouble with people like Karl as far as I can tell, just annoying shit that pissed off a lot of people and proves why union membership has plummeted. But Karl took it to the next level.

He never had an introspective bone in his body. I knew him as "weirdo" before I knew his name - it's what he was called. Even before the transition, he was considered an oddball of the highest order. I am normally disinclined to believe rumors, especially when they involve politics, student politics or unions, but this confirms everything I have ever heard about him.

I feel really sorry for the guy who got attacked, but what the fuck was he thinking just standing there? He's eyeing off someone with a goddamn axe for an eternity, all at a place where even someone approaching the door wearing a motorcycle helmet will usually result in the attendant locking the doors and calling the cops.

He either thinks he's the Man of Steel and invincible, or he's too cucked to call out a "woman's" crazy behavior and either hightail out of there or move against "her" before "she" gets a chance to strike.

Carrying a blade without proper cause is a crime in Australia and he would have certainly known that. Even in our braindead society, taking down someone who turns out to be a SJW tranny and who's holding an axe in a convenience store is not going to get you in trouble.

Best option would have been to leave but Jesus Christ this guy was dumb.
