The thing about dry spell is that its hard to get out of it if you let it be the center of your life.

Trying to get out of a dry spell because you are frustrated would just make you more frustrated, i.e vicious cycle.
Some guys plough through it by sheer iron will. They just grind and grind and grind until they are satisfied.
It is important for you to know, if you are this type of guys.

If you are like I was, then grinding on and getting a 4-5 just for blowing the load, will make you way worse off than fapping.
In this case, you need to find a passion/interest where you can really grind yourself in, which also happens to let you meet women.
Let that passions be the center axe of your life and not the desire to get out of a dry spell.
Dancing is a no brainer and worked great for me and many others.
Any social hobbies that allows you to meet people, befriend them and going places as a group is also golden.

Yes, it's quite a cruel problem that is completely ignored and even ridiculed in western society. Unfortunately the men who cannot get laid for the life of them are not supposed to get laid; it is nature's way of weeding out the unfit. Modern men are fucked up enough as it is - at least some of the worst where women are concerned are getting shut out of the market and will never have children who would have otherwise been born with similar failure, mental illness etc.

While I agree that women do have very impressive "detectors" for a wide range of male attributes, they are not psychic. It is possible to "fool" at least some women and that is necessary to break the cycle. Fake it til you make it has its place, but is easier said than done. If you're naturally a depressive, quiet, anxious person and have never been "cool" at any point in your life, it's basically pussy repellent. If you also are harboring large amounts of long-term incel rage and having suicidal breakdowns that escalate into hospitalization, then I am not being pessimistic when I say that, if you somehow manage to recover enough bang hot girls in EE/SA while being reasonably happy then you are in the top 0.1% of incels and probably deserve a fucking medal. I would say the one Obama gave Joe Biden but awarding that to Biden kinda diluted the great honor it is supposed to be.

Rough one today. Guess I'll be going back to fapping to porn for the time being. It's certainly not healthy when my mind and body are constantly screaming for sex and basically any woman that is younger than 40 and not completely obese seems like a 10/10.

The way I killed a very long dry spell pre pickup was building a social circle. Go to any structured class with women in it that does social shit afterwards. Be there every time. Make sure to promote drinking and a "having fun" vibe. It's all about that social time after class: the longer the better.

I am afraid beding a long dry spell from cold approach only works if you are 200% motivated to make it happen. And then still you need face to face coaching from wings or someone else'. My early 20s played out very similarly to mrman848's, actually. Couldn't get laid, got depressed, ended up in the hospital so they put me on meds which made me fatter, making it even harder to get laid, LOL.

I didn't start getting laid regularly until my mid 20s, after I moved to NYC. Got off the meds, got in shape, things started to fall in place...

But I digress. Point is, I've been here before, so I know the feeling. Desperate situations call for desperate measures. For me, it called for picking up and moving across the country to a city where I knew not a soul, because I knew it would be easier for me to get around there. You also have to remember that despite women's anti-slut-defenses, they want sex. I wish I had had as deep understanding of key principles of dealing with females as you a few months ago. But I digress. Point is, I've been here before, so I know the feeling. Desperate situations call for desperate measures. For me, it called for picking up and moving across the country to a city where I knew not a soul, because I knew it would be easier for me to get around there. Life's too short to be spent being miserable. If you can't change the mindset of the women around you (ie, into sleeping with you), try a whole different set of women! And traveling some place far away makes that possible.

Well, I moved back to Germany in July, 2016 partly to escape the dating market in the UK. Furthermore, if it wasn't for the situation with women, I'd actually be quite happy here for various reasons, so I'm quite reluctant to move again. On the other hand, yes, I have actually been thinking a lot about that - as a last resort - maybe a move to eastern Europe might well be the ultimate solution, although I really don't want to have to take this step if I can at all avoid it. On the other hand, I know that I'm going to snap if I don't get laid in the foreseeable future, of that I am certain.
