A day to mourn. The great land of Argentina that has gifted the world (among other things) great steak, wine, Messi, and beautiful women has fallen to the liberal feminists.

Today there were protests all around the country due to a recent incident where, responding to a complaint, police tried to kick out a group of women who tried going topless at the beach. So #tetazo is today's response, where many are marching topless to protest. Similarly to last week's UC Berkeley incident, some are classifying it as a riot due to destroyed property.

Several topless women held a “Tetazo” protest in Argentina's capital of Buenos Aires and other parts of the country Tuesday in response to what they call censorship and violence against their bodies.

The organizers called for the protest in response to the police arrest of three women who were topless at a beach in Necochea. About 20 police officers reportedly demanded they leave the area, claiming they were violating the public rule of decency. A judge later ruled that dressing topless on the beach did not consist of a crime against decency.

"What we ask is that there be a change of culture, to do away with the violent construct that exists around a woman's body. What happened in Necochea was only a trigger," Lola Cufre one of the organizers of the protest, told Telam.

Feminist organizations under the umbrella group, "Protests Against Street Harassment," have been leading protests across Argentina for several days.

“The nipples that they censor are the political, feminist ones, the ones that do not sell in the patriarchal and capitalist system,” said Tere, one of the protestors, to Telam. “The nipple that does not sell is the one that bothers them.”

The police did not intervene, only watching the protests from afar.

Last July, feminist groups organized a “Tetada” in protest against the illegal criminalization of a young mother who was prohibited from breastfeeding on a public square.

Constanza Santos was breastfeeding her baby on a public square in Buenos Aires when two policemen told her it was prohibited. As she protested, they demanded she give her identity and threatened to arrest her.

The police officers' behavior was rooted in "cultural prejudices that sexualize the woman's body and relate it to an erotic exhibition, which is not the case."

Funny enough, this prominent Argentine writer notes that there were lots of dudes who were there to check out the tits on display, much to the chagrin of the feminists present. The gentleman also notes in a separate tweet that the same feminists who are speaking out today are the same ones who complain about using sexy women to sell products on TV -- he suggests the real problem they have is with GOOD LOOKING WOMEN.

Before I saw philosophical_recovery's post I recognised that ugly short haired dyke from the protests in Brussels or wherever it was and she got put into a headlock.

In all fairness, I'm pretty good with faces and names. It helps that I've spent a decent amount of time drawing people.

And she has been on my avatar for a few years.

Here's what is surprising to me:

She must be pretty young. She doesn't show any sign of aging since the masterful Brussels takedown.
