I'm sorry but anyone who makes claims about "hyperinflation" occurring with the dollar really doesn't have a sound grasp of how money is created or destroyed by the federal reserve.

Unlike governments in the old days, the majority of money is digital. If the Fed really wanted to it could suck a ton of cash out of the system at will simply because it's all digital. Nothing more nothing less.

This would end hyperinflation. It won't happen! However, another issue would occur.

There would be several soveign debt defaults from the US government to pretty much every other major world power out there. A true great depression would hit at this point.

But at least milk will be 3.50$ a gallon.

Things are only as bad as they are because people ''don't care''. Germany isn't comparable to the situation in Sweden or France, people are more based in Bayern and the former DDR.

Lolbertarians who think privatizing pension systems for everyone forget what things were like before the modern welfare state and seem to forget how smart the average joe is.
