Now that the Cavs have the two best 3 point shooters in the east, they'll be able to space the floor that much more opening up for more drives and giving Lebron space when he actually decides to be a scorer (clearly he saves it for the playoffs).

Maybe they won't play the Warriors again in the end after all though. Spurs are looking better this year and they've proven they can beat GSW on the road, so as long as they avoid stumbling like they did the past two seasons I think we could actually see Cavs vs Spurs in the finals.

While those are impressive numbers, I take them with a grain of salt: I think his performance has more to do with the Chinese players are less athletic and competitive.

Example. He leads the Shanghai Sharks with 4.7 APG. According to the NBA 2017 stats, the league leader is James Harden with 11.6 apg, that's 2.5 times (!) Jimmer's average. If Jimmer were in the NBA he'd only rank 30th with that 4.7 apg. (Source for my info)

Same with boards, there are 16 NBA guys doing more than 8.8. And the CBA three point line is about 6.75 meters, 22ft, shorter than the NBA's 23.7. 6.75 meters is the same distance as the WNBA 3pt line at the top of the key.

Fredette is hardly elite. The players there just make a guy who rode the pine pony look like a combo of Larry Legend and Lebron James.

Or I could be wrong and maybe he's developed into beast and if he has I'd love to see him come back to states. Hopefully he can parlay this success there into celebrity-status and get some endorsements, easy pussy, etc.

You completely missed the point. Nobody is trying to claim that Jimmer is an elite NBA level basketball player.

This dude was looking at a failed career, then gets this China gig and finds another way to keep the checks rolling in. And damn, they gave him a mil on his first contract. The guy is still getting SEVEN FIGURE CHECKS. I wonder what he's going to get as soon as he's back on the market and teams are competing for him.

Not to mention that he's becoming a megacelebrity in the world's second largest economy, and as Fast Eddie aptly put it a "Basketball Diety." He captured so many fans in college, it's amusing to see the same effect, in China, except crank it up a few notches. There are more basketball fans in China than there are citizens of the United States! Too bad he's married. He could be smashing some fine exotic pussy.

And damn, 38 a night, do you know how much fucking fun that would be, in front of sold out arenas? If Jimmer wanted to compete he would have gone to play in Europe.

Look how personal LeBron takes it all, very feminine. Most high level players would ignore the noise from pundits or at most just highlight the fact his fingers get heavy from 3 rings and Chuck would not know the real effort needed to get that job done. That would be a pointed and heavy diss at someone bent critical but Bron does not have the balls to go like that so he just gets petty.

It isn't just Bron being the coach and GM he is also drifting the league towards financial ruin and chaos. He is the players union head people may forget this but he was on that group that pushed for these new player deals because selfishly he felt he was underpaid (you can make that argument that for sure) so the group pulled strings to ensure a boom level cap. Now anybody with a heartbeat gets paid $18 million plus a year and teams now are so out of wacky because you can't find money for stable men 6-8 on your team. You can only pay a collection of starts and then have the bench rot away wuch is exactly the issue the Cavs have now with zero depth.

Bron is dumping gas everywhere as the current system isn't sustainable. Many view this TV money as a bubble and how will you then justify players taking a pay cut down the road? Either a roster spot gets cut off or you end up playing more games to recoup that money value.

Bron is also out of wack poltically. Over estimates his importance and opinions politically as well. He has been gilded since age 16 when he got a Range Rover for his birthday. Dude has been out of touch with reality for half his life but thinks he knows what is real for families in the streets.

Phil will be the one to get the ax in this situation, as it should be. He gave Carmelo a no-trade, and as much as I don't want to hate Carmelo will never win a championship unless it's as a 38 year old off the bench, he is not good enough to not pass the ball in this post isolation-ball era.

I saw the highlights on ESPN at the gym, and it was pretty obvious that Oakley was trying to force a physical altercation. Granted, I don't know much about the Knicks. But I think that making bad executive decisions (like you say Dolan has done) warrants a physical attack. Did the owner say something first? Who knows and who cares?

Oakley is a grown man - trying to physically fight during an NBA game - with an NBA owner that's half his height. It's pretty sad, actually.

True but to Dolan's credit, he has been hands off since hiring Phil.

Let's be honest, Phil has no idea what he is doing. His moves have been terrible. There are just too many to list. He fired a good coach in Mike Woodson and hired Derek Fisher who had no coaching experience.

Phil took a nice fat paycheck and he has not delivered.
