Your assumption on 4WD is correct. I go onto redneck roads, as well as snow. Not a lot of snow, it's VA but it's enough to be scary.

I keep hearing rumors that Navara will be the new Frontier, though no one knows when. Same with 4Runner--it was expected to be updated this year but wasn't.

These vehicles are bought in USA and exported to Latin America and Africa?

I am afraid that women appreciate cruelty, downright cruelty, more than anything else. They have wonderfully primitive instincts. We have emancipated them, but they remain slaves looking for their masters all the same. They love being dominated.

I would never buy small french car before. But I buy it after passed family member and it´s in top condition, was parked in garage.
The front window is amazing.

It's Frontier in America, Navara for the rest of the world. It always amuses me how manufacturers feel the need to Americanise names of certain models.
Ranger, Hilux and to a lesser extent Colorado are king though.

The 4Runner limited edition is very nice, I plan on getting one in the near future. It was the truck of Los Jefes in Venezuela when I was there.

Forgot this thread was here. After many years of dreaming, I finally bought my dream vehicle. Finally got me a Ford F-150.

Since I'm so tall, finding a vehicle is pretty tricky. I looked at different trucks and they didn't have the room the F-150 had for me.

Love my truck.

I think those Sebring convertibles are halfway to gay already, but whether I would drive it depends on the color. I knew a guy who had one in this kind of seafoam green, and it was incredibly Gay. I'd much rather drive a minivan than that.

I'd take a Miata every time over a Sebring. They're not fast stock but at least they're good looking, RWD, and can carve.

RE: Is your ride beta? Let me decide
Miata is a different animal, though. I used to think they were queer as a $3 bill, but man are they a blast to drive. The one to get, IMO, is an '04-'05 Mazdaspeed Miata since it had a factory turbo - 178hp in a car that weighs less than a plastic Saturn is nothing to scoff at.

If you like ragtops on the cheap, a Sebring is actually a nice car and a LOT of car for the money. Being engineered to be a convertible from the start, it actually has decent unibody bracing and doesn't have the cowl shake most other coupes-with-the-roof-cut-off convertibles suffer from. Majority are owned by snowbirds or retirees who kept them flawless and most end up down here in Florida free from rust and roadsalt. You can pick up a low-mileage Limited with leather, pwr seat, etc for well under $5k retail. Just stay away from an LX (2.4l 4-cylinder - does. not. move.) and that terrible tan prosthetic leg color (Light Almond Beige Metallic) that every domestic MFG used in the 00s. I can buy '02-'06 models with leather and 50-80k miles for ~$800-1500 at the sale and turn around and retail them for ~$3500-4500 depending on color and trim.

'07+ Sebrings are a mess, though. Not only is the styling unattractive, but Chrysler offered both a retractable hardtop and soft-top on the same chassis. Point being, they both utilize this overly-complicated dual-action decklid/convertible top tonneau that is tremendously failure-prone. The earlier generations have a far-simpler hydraulic pump and electric motor that you and a buddy can swap out in ~1 hr.

My biggest problem with Sebring convertibles as non-performance oriented daily drivers is they just look weird. Kind of a bloated fat-ass look.

I'd love a Miata, they're fun as hell and cheap to maintain if you drive on the track regularly. Even the tires are cheap. I'll buy one as soon as I have garage space and can afford an extra car that won't get used much. I can't imagine my lifestyle ever allowing me to have a Miata as my primary vehicle, even once I get around to moving out west and out of the lake effect snow belt.

Regardless of your ride, if it's snowing out (it is here) and you don't get it sideways then you're a little bitch.

Just did a whole bunch of doughnuts and rode out some fun drifts. Never done that with AWD before.

^Miatas are fun. I used to ride one in the snow and get sideways when everyone else was avoiding driving at all. Amazingly balanced.

RE: Is your ride beta? Let me decide
I used to play in the snow and sand with my old Cherokee (RIP) a lot more. There's nowhere to really do it here with my Subaru these days, unless I'm at my cabin. Then I bomb around the back roads pretending I'm a rally driver. If I tried that around where I live I'd probably get arrested, even if I did it in a parking lot. NY is gay and the cops are everywhere.

I've heard Miatas with limited slip are pretty decent in winter, especially with snow tires. Almost bought one a few years ago. But I need clearance as much as good traction the places I go in the middle of nowhere, so I ended up with my dyke car instead.

I picked up a silver '01 a couple years ago for $1000, from an old couple that weren't going to get anything for it on trade. I bought it after my divorce as a second car to my (then) minivan. It's what I usually drive when I'm on the hunt for notches.

I'm in my mid-40's, and always wanted a convertible, but wasn't ready to drop upwards of $10K on a car I'd only drive sporadically. I plan on driving this for SA game (in a logistics situation where I have to drive), and as far as any of them are concerned, I bought it new in 2001 (when I was in my late 20's Icon_biggrin).

I agree, it's a lot of car for the money. 2.7 V6, low miles, almost flawless body, clean interior.. it's in great shape for the year, especially in western NY weather.

I've made a few mods to it. Painted the pillars, upper windshield trim, and the inside of the license plate trim, all to match the color of the car. Side mirrors and the grille are in the queue to be painted as well.

Yeah, I know it's a Sebring, and I know I'm not going to fool anyone, but I'm going for the Aston Martin look when it comes to painting the side mirrors and windshield trim. I think the black on the Sebring makes it look cheap.

It's funny Sam Salone that those two pictures you posted are very similar. But what's the price difference, probably 60-70k.

I say go for it.

Do you think people would still hang out with me if I drove this:

Maybe more so?

If anyone knows how to get in touch with whoever would sell me that car, please send me a message.

Aloha!

Congrats! I think I may be ruined. My '02 Tacoma is in the shop getting work done and I had to get a rental. My choices: Audi A8 or F-150.

I chose the F-150. It's a '16 XLT and it's a god damn rocket ship. I feel like I'm in a Gulfstream compared to my Cessna. This is turning into a week long test drive for me, I couldn't imagine what a Lariat must be like. What model F-150 did you get?

Even though I have no need, I'm also leaning towards the 6.7 powerstroke.

Nice ride. Would drive it but would feel like a drug dealer from the 80's.

Currently driving a old and beat up ford Sierra. Hope I'll be able to sell it next week though.
