Well - back when we started the thread I did not understand it.

Now as I read hadiths like the one lovely story of how a group came to Mohammed and a man told Mohammed of how his daughter insulted the prophet and asked what he should do about her. Mohammed then said that he won't sit down until the man went home and killed his daughter. And so the man did as advised and Mohammed could sit down.

Also the same Mohammed said that he is not even sure whether he goes to heaven. The only one who is assured of heaven is the Jihadi who dies in battle for the sake of Islam.

The mothers behaved rationally according to such a doctrine - they and their babies were assured paradise.

Now that said - how anyone can believe such craziness is another matter for discussion.

Isn't there any way to use technology for this particular form of insanity? They can scan you at the airport with sensors about 2 feet away, how long until that is 20-50 feet?

For gun fans, I am not trying to grab your guns-- if it's open carry state and you look over 18 there should be no problem.

if it's a permit state, maybe you get a chip on your permit that broadcasts your picture and permit number so you aren't hassled if armed.
