Could you run me through what your routine in Korean language is like? What direction does the conversation usually go? Do you run unviversal game in Korean, or do you run K-specific game?

While I do agree with you that the reception in Thailand is perhaps the best in Asia, if you are a well put together foreigner, I would argue that the quality in Korea is the best. I haven't been to Japan so I shall not comment on it.

Nevertheless, I am contemplating making a trip to Korea one day and will probably spend some time learning the language.

I do agree with you that Chinese people get a bad rep for being loud and boorish/ poorly dressed and generally unpleasant to be around. I feel that way about many chinese people too.

However, I've never had an issue with my ethnicity and have gone as far as to point out to korean women (who aernt in korea) that Korea was a vassal state of China and there are similarities in chinese and korean culture.

With regard to my appearance, I am well-dressed, in good shape and am neither tall nor short, but taller than most asian people. In short, there has never been a need for me to lie about where I'm from.

I think you've missed the point of my question. I was asking about gaming korean women in Korea, as a non-korean, not about gaming korean women in general.

No worries man, I actually agree with you on your sentiments about Chinese people getting a bad rep. These are facts; mainland tourists do behave this way and it is a pity that a few bad apples spoil the entire basket. I personally don't have much of an affinity with my heritage and am not interested in the values advocated by my people. In fact, I am rather disenchanted by the values (or lack thereof) of mainlanders.

- Maybe height - wear height shoes if you aren't at least 5'11 (180cm) - otherwise you are a loser (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6dVgeMmQ_M) - obviously you can still get it if you're short, just gonna be harder
- Flash money if you can/buy tables - Koreans are materialistic. Definitely even more than Americans and that's saying something
- Look for girls with red face - maybe hard to tell in club/bar lighting + when they have make up but girls who get red usually can't drink
- I screen hard but that is something I always do. I saw some post on here that said probably ~1/3 of Korean girls are just prude as fuck and you aren't getting anything (like definitely not a ONS, but maybe with a few dates). I'd say (as an average guy without extreme looks/money/status) the number of girls in Korea on any given night that are down for ONS are very low. Just gotta keep hunting until you find one. Same way even though I spent my entire life outside Korea, people see me as Korean/some expect me to be 100% fluent in the language

Was talking with some friends last night. Racism is basically ingrained in us or maybe even genetic, I don't know. And all of us have lived abroad, upper class/"good" education, etc.

Hey guys, so I just downloaded the BeeTalk app because I heard it's the most popular app for meeting girls in Vietnam. After I browsed the members, I was rather disappointed in the talent. They all seemed to take to the childish K-pop look and even strike cutesy poses.

As a western Asian guy, I find the westernized Asian look here in the states to be much more attractive. Like highlights, sexy and modern style. I'm not saying I'd want the full blown import model girl look, but if I had to choose between the two, I'd pick that. But I guess the baby doll image for girls is all the rage over there and the local guys like it.

Also, is it just me but do you notice Asian girl raised in the west look physically different than the ones back in Asia? By overgeneralizing, you're essentially saying the Viets, Chinese, Taiwanese, Koreans, Filipinas, etc all look the same within the US or within Asia, which isn't the case.

Just because you might not be that impressed with looks of Viet girls in VN through online pipelining doesn't mean you'd automatically feel the same way about gals in S. Korea/Thailand/Japan as well....

I've noticed something traveling in Asia is that I think that being raised abroad you only get a real bonus if your native in english and the local language because you can play either card. I also think online dating is a lot different because your using major western apps like tinder and dating websites geared towards people from the west so girls expecations are skewed. The girls you get are going to be a lot different than non asian guys.

Most asians in the west are white washed, so its very rare for an asian from the west to still speak fluently in the native language. Its a shame because the asians from the west who can still speak fluently in their native language not only have better access to girls, they also have more opportunity at jobs and wealth. As asian countries become more developed and the world commerce is more connected due to broadband technology, western education is highly sought after in asia. A trade in the west might be slow, but over in asia, that trade is in very high demand, which leads to a lot of entrepreneurship opportunity.

If I had the choice to either be really rich in asia, or just be average in the west, I would choose asia in a heart beat. Just think of all the hot girls you could bang if you were rich.

I'm heading off to Vietnam later this week. I'm wondering what the Vietnamese girls think about white-washed Chinese guys? So far on Tinder and Vietnamcupid, I'm getting a lot of girls asking me if I speak Vietnamese or if I'm Viet. I tell some of them that I was born in Vietnam but raised in the West while others I tell I'm Vietnamese/Chinese. It hasn't seem to make much of a difference so far as I'm able to get their numbers relatively easy but I'm wondering if this is going to present any issues once I get there?

when I say asia, I dont mean just any country in asia, there are only a select
few countries where there are a lot of opportunities.

If you want to make big bucks in asia, you cant assume your
"some kind of education' is enough, you need a masters degree or higher. Companies in asia hire managers with masters
degree and pay them big bucks because asian companies have a huge customer base due to the population of asians in asia,
this leads to massive profits.

Put it this way if you have a masters degree or higher, chances are you will be highly sought after in asia, but then again with a masters
degree you wont have trouble making a living in the western world.

A person working in trades in the west might make average money cause the trade they are in is slow, but that
same trade is actually in high demand in asia, which means they can start their own company. and the reason why that trade is in high demand
is because some asian countries are rapidly modernizing just like 70 years ago when first world countries like the US was rapidly modernizing.

nah. masters isnt gonna help much.plenty of returnees with masters or even doctors from reputable universities paid peanuts.

You can make big bucks (hundreds and thousands of dollars a year) in places like hong kong and singapore, but the competition will be very strong. And you really need to be 1 in a million to in that position, which you are also do in the west.

Banks are not even hiring expats without some asia experience these days in hk and singapore, (without mandarin should be ok), as there are tonnes of finance guys in these cities.

If you do find a niche where your products/trade is demanded by asian consumers, sure i think it can go big. Those luxury brands in the last 10 years did this, but that sector is slowing down rapidly. The other route is join some start up like Grab taxi, they are rapidly expanding.

Money talks, if a large company in asia wants to maintain its profit margins then it needs qualified and educated senior managers. So I highly doubt a large company in asia will pay their senior managers peanuts.

the only reason why a company would pay their senior managers peanuts is due to a small profit margin, and a company with small profit margins wont be able to hire foreign graduates with high degrees because all the large companies who have huge profit margins have hired them.

A qualified senior manager with the right skills can acutally help a company increase its profit margin, so any company looking to increase their profit margin will look for foreign canidates with high degrees of education.
