I originally had no interest in visiting anywhere in the Philippines other than Boracay (datasheet here). However, I was in Boracay for too long and got bored of it so I cut my trip short and decided to meet my boy Dave in Manila.

Got in Saturday afternoon and checked into my 5 star hotel (treated myself, it was awesome). Decent price though I’m not sure it was really a game-changer in terms of getting girls. They didn’t seem keener to fuck me when I told them where I was staying. It was more just icing on the cake.

First, Dave and I went to the gym and got food. I was really tired as I had only slept 4 or 5 hours tops the night before but couldn’t fall asleep for a quick power nap. Oh well, I rally and we head out to Valkyrie, which by all accounts seems to be the best, or at least best-known, club in Manila. Dave and I were able to get in for free on a guestlist, which was dope (cover is usually 1000 peso or 20USD).

I have to say the club itself was very nice. Good music (head bobbing the whole time), lighting, décor, the works. However, it was a bit “scene” that night (not sure if that’s every night) and not good for pickup. That is, almost everyone seemed to be on a table or with a group.

Also, for a club of Valkyrie’s caliber, I expected there to be way hotter girls. There were definitely hot girls, but the average was quite low – Dave said there were a lot of fatties and I agree. Would say the average girl was a 4 or 5.

There were a few Westerners here and there, girls and guys, with the girls being ugly or just ok. There were a decent amount of Koreans maybe ~5-10% of the people, girls were at best Korean 8s but mostly ok.

I made a few approaches here and there but nothing really worth mentioning except maybe one set. I approached a Korean coming out of the bathroom. She was a 6 at best but she was young (1997) and seemed keen. However, she was with a big group and I kept getting cockblocked by her friends.

Dave went home and I asked some dude for a piece of gum. I originally was thinking this dude was the PUA Mark Manson or Entropy4 on here because he looked exactly the same. All the while, I was lowkey texting the Korean girl, who at that point had left Valkyrie and was eating with her friends. I told her to meet me in front of my hotel.

I took the Filipina back and banged her. I think she was a hooker because she had a couple of trashy-looking tattoos, fucked ok, and was “from Boracay” (lot of girls there seemed to be hookers). She wanted to sleep over but I didn’t really want that because I don’t trust 3rd world girls (or most girls in general) because I think they will jack my shit.

The Korean girl tells me she’s in the lobby so I say some bullshit to the Filipina like “my sister is here and wants to talk to me” and tell her to go down with me but pretend she doesn’t know me. She sees through the bullshit and is sad and asks for taxi money to go home. I give her whatever change I have (320 peso or a little less than 7 USD). Not sure if that was p4p but I’ll chalk it up as a lay.

Anyway, the Korean girl is luckily not really looking at the elevator area and is sitting charging her phone. I say hi and we go up and bang at like 7:30 or 8am. Was absolutely wiped the next day.

A Same Day Lay Gone Wrong + First Daygame Bang? (Pics)

So Dave and I decided to do some daygame today.

Got a couple numbers and Instagrams but I was really just going for the same day lay aka meet a girl and bring her to my place right then and there.

One of the girls was an actual model flying to Milan in a couple of days with like 40,000 Instagram followers. So I’m saying she was an actual model, not some dumb ho who saves up for a Groupon to get pics taken of her then upload them to Instagram. Her face was just ok though but she had that model swag and was a super chill person like giving my steady eye contact throughout the interaction and very calm and composed - most girls were a little shy or hesitant. Not gonna lie; your boy was working up a slight sweat but managed to keep a poker face for this modela .

But the weirdest approach was this girl who, from far away, looked hot. I walked up and she was like a 5 wearing plain clothes (for some reason Dave and I thought she was wearing a hot dress).

I thought it was going well so I said let’s go back and watch Korean shows (we were talking about it) and all of a sudden, she says ok but give me money.

What the fuck? This was really surprising because she looked totally normal, dressed in a t-shirt and some normal pants (again, not hot either – I just wanted the SDL). Also, it wasn’t like I was at a hooker bar, I was just in the outdoor area of a really nice mall (Greenbelt). Apparently, her and her friend get “clients” there sometimes? Like she is a student and said she goes once a week to this area to get customers. I don’t really know how the “transaction” happens as I doubt that many people would go up to some random girl unless they were in on PUA. Thoughts??

Edit: Hahaha so I’ve been told there’s a famous hooker place right in that area called Café Havana. Really surprising because it’s just the plaza area of a really nice mall.

I’m a bit disappointed when she shows up because she looks rough from the drinking and is smoking, too (I don’t mind smoking that much but combined with the fact she was wasted it was trashy to me). She said she had killed half a bottle of tequila with her friend or maybe that was the amount she drank by herself, not sure. Regardless, I was kind of disgusted at that point.

We go up and I’m not really motivated to hit it but I do anyway. Of course I turn on the lights and there’s blood on my dick and shit. Im still thinking that it may have been geographical in nature too though. I heard somewhere that being physically in a totally new location may reset things to being fresh after having your profile semi hidden, supressed or some shit like that in your previous location. I used tinder plus and got matches in little towns all around the Andes mountains, then suddenly after trying huge-ass 11 or 12 million strong Lima, they slowed to a trickle and stopped. So maybe Tinder didnt blacklist, but supressed me in Peru, now its normal in Davao. Officially the most complicated functionality of any site or app I know of.

Btw, all of that fixing to get a new working tinder and you never had to change devices ie use new ip address?
If you managed this without getting a new device, that makes things easy. We seemed to have the exact same problem. Although somehow mine just fully recovered on its own after travelling.

I don't know if there is a Korean god factor or not, but many times here in Saigon I have seen young Korean guys walking around with a "God-like" attitude and it always made me chuckle inside. Maybe there is something to it, in that they know the locals of the SEA regions see them that way?

That said, my last job in NYC one of my clients was a Korean and he was as humble as can be. But he was in his 40's, and very successful.

Regardless of race, I think mature, successful men tend to be more humble than their younger, less successful counterparts who feel they have something to prove to themselves and the world.

Things got a lot harder in the Philippines after some time in September 2016, seemingly overnight.

I can't put my finger on it but I feel the change every time I go out, even when I'm not intending to game.

I'm muscular, so I used to get lots of IOIs when I go out. In the last few months, IOIs dwindled to almost nothing. I feel the difference when I approach too. I eject out of most my approaches because the girls act uninterested.

I don't think the Korean factor was as big as BKK. While most girls in the Phils seem to watch Korean dramas and such, I wasn't getting blatantly checked out as much as in BKK.

There are a decent amount of Koreans in Manila but not as many as say District 1 in Saigon. (I only stayed a few days in Manila tho and mostly in Makati)

I was in Manila recently. Makati. I was there to visit girls from prior trips (met them day gaming). Anyway, I had one free night. I go to green belt mall and approach. Outside.

Yea I'd say so but I was in Saigon for about a week while I was in Manila only for a few days.

When I went out in Saigon (one time), there were a few girls who were interested because I was Korean (one girl even asking me for my Kakaotalk). Don't remember that being the case in Manila. The one girl I got in Saigon (wasn't motivated to chase and just met up with her a few times) was a Korea fan (wearing the facemask, Korean style makeup, etc). A girl I met from Tinder but didn't get to bang (I'd give her an 8) was into Korea and had a Korean ex (who was taller and had gotten plastic surgery, too, according to her).

I mean everywhere I've been in SE Asia (Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Phils) is Korea-crazed to an extent but you're not gonna be pulling down hotties ("8+") just cuz of that unless you're good looking yourself (generally). A girl I met in Boracay, Philippines (9) and the Saigonese Tinder chick I mentioned kept comparing me to their better-looking ex or favorite actor.

I would recommend Saigon just because if you have more of a Korean taste in girls (small face, lighter skin, delicate features, etc), you'd probably like Vietnam more. I personally thought the average in Philippines was quite low and like anywhere else, you're probably not gonna be tagging the hottest girls without some sort of X factor like looks, money, status if you're just on vacation (hotter girls in Phils probably being more in demand than Vietnam, where there might be more hot girls - supply and demand)

My game hasn't changed much compared to my previous trips. Maybe I was just unlucky this time? or things have gotten a LOT harder there. On my approaches, I was usually able to strike up a conversation, get a number, but the finish wasn't always working. Once again, this wasn't the case in previous trips. It's impossible to tell whether it's you without seeing what happens consistently from start to finish. As you mention, maybe try exploring different styles. Dressing and being a bit "nicer" and less of a "fuckboy" might be something worth trying. Dusty's approaches below are quite direct in the end but I bet there is a kind of energy to him that makes girls trust him and be comfortable with him quickly.

Maybe also change some other things drastically, like where you are meeting these women, different openers, different types of women etc.

I noticed a change over the past 10-15 years in the anglosphere, used to get IOIs all the time but now dwindled to nothing, but that has come with exponential increase in options and attention for women via online dating, widespread 49ers, smartphone addiction, fat acceptance, kill all men militant feminism propaganda believed by a huge % of women, and other SJW shit in general. How did you know or what indication was evident that "A LOT" of girls are saying this?

I am here in the Philippines now and I'm doing better than I did a half a decade ago. I can see a change in the stares I get (it seems exotic value has gone down), but there is also a seemingly endless supply of girls who are down. Maybe a difference is that my game is quite a bit better than it was before.

I also noticed Philippine men seem bigger. I am actually seeing taller jacked Pinoy guys, something I don't remember seeing before. Maybe some steroid use and gym culture is starting to pick up. One thing that I think is happening as well (I've seen it happen in other countries) is that the men are seeing that foreigners are taking their women and are trying to put a bad label on girls who go out with foreigners. So girls who want foreigners (still just about the same amount) now want to be a bit more discreet about it.

These are still small things. I just came from Japan and Korea and the Philippines is so much easier, its ridiculous. Philippines is still a pussy paradise, but while you are in the big cities, you may have to bring (a little) game. I also have to confirm that I have noticed Korean guys value is way higher than it was when I was here before. The Kpop/kdrama thing is really making an impact (and I'm white). I would say Korean guys have the highest value of any Asian guys at the moment. Maybe it's because I mention I have just come from Korea, but all the time girls are saying how handsome Korean guys are. Those K dramas are really helping you Korean guys out, now is the time to travel and capitalize.

I dropped online game completely here as it hardly serves me anymore. There is the occasional lay, but it simply isn't worth the endless inane text chats and flakes.
