The shipment is yet another part of the massive military buildup taking place in Eastern Europe, where the US and NATO are developing military infrastructure and headquarters as well as building weapons and ammunition stockpiles to defend the region against what they describe as “Russian aggression.”

Earlier in November, the Pentagon announced deployment of two heavily-armed army units, the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team (3rd ABCT) of the Colorado-based 4th Infantry Division as well as the New York-based 10th Combat Aviation Brigade, to Europe in January 2017.

Meanwhile, Gen. Hodges said in early October that he also wants to see anti-drone weapons systems in future arms deliveries to counter Russia, according to Military.com.

Those weapons systems would include the Avenger, a Humvee equipped with eight FIM-92 Stinger missiles, as well as the German-made Gepard, a twin-33mm cannon mounted on a Leopard tank chassis.

The US Army also plans to equip the 2nd Cavalry Regiment in Europe with the new version of the M1126 Stryker infantry fighting vehicle armed with a more powerful 30mm cannon in May of 2018, according to the website.

Armaments aside, the buildup is also coupled with numerous exercises taking place in the Baltic states, Poland and in the Black Sea, with the stated goal of assuring Eastern European allies of NATO’s commitment to defending them.

Russia has consistently referred to the buildup as a provocative measure which undermines European security, promising to take reciprocal steps.

I am a "swing-state" voter. Florida is my residence. Although Trump has been elected, he still isn't in 'Office', so we don't really know wether he will commit to his promises or not, just yet. Obama (as in the administration) doesnt hate israel. He may have some negative beef with Netanyahu because Netanyahu took too much liberties while in the past israels actions were buffered (at least imagewise) by the US. While Netanyahu just didnt answer to noone because he wanted to escalate quickly for his internal image.

There are countless UN resolutions that date decades that the US let through that call for israeli withdrawals from territories. They dont mean anything. The last vote was a meaningless personal fuck you too.

But the US policy hasnt been and will never be anything but pro israel. There's just the soros way and the neocon way.

ISIS was created by arab intelligence services in coordination with other intelligence services. The US thought it could use those fighters like the in the earky days of the syrian war and then wrap it neatly under the banner of a victorious free syrian army.
But radical islam is hard to control so now theyrr forced to damage control. But they couldnt damage control without their enemies benefiting and thats why the US was wishy washy on Isis and not really doing anything. It didnt want it to get bigger but didnt want russia/assad benefiting from isis demise.

The Israelis did it alright. They launched the attack from Lake Tiberius (inside Israel) so their jets would not be shot down by Assad's anti-aircraft missiles. If he backs Netanyahu to the hilt and carry out his promise to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem, not only will that permanently torpedo any hopes of a peace deal with the Palestinians, but also put him into direct conflict with Russia as further Israeli attacks on the SAA and their allies including Iran will be taken by Russia as a direct attack on it's interests.

Trump has two choices, either he reigns in the Zionists or he will have Vlad to deal with. His talk of entente with Russia will sound very hollow.

So far Russia has drawn the line at Syria but shown very little interest in backing either palestinians or hezballah.

The policy of putin has been to protect Assad but not much beyond that. The thing is, putin acts on russias interests while the US acts because of lobbies and special interests, so Putin and Iran and Hezballah often have very divergent interests.

Trump, if he is to be 100 percent behind israel, could very well for example leave assad alone but give israel free hand in Palestine. Of course that further fuels the fire for the future, but could be what he and Putin agree on.

What is sad on the news and even among Trump circles is how now palestinians are lumped in with ISIS and portrayed as the other side. For example the pro trumo internet personalities seem to lump in saudis and palestinians and isis and puts them opposite a western israeli front.

While in fact saudi arabia and qatar are perfectly in line with israel on all issues.

In fact none of them have ever lifted a finger for palestinians and that is why their regimes are nurtured and protected.

For example, if one was to think logically, where should isis be strongest, if it is in fact a product of independant people? In palestine! Because its the land that has been at war for 70 years, that has muslim religious places, that is poor, etc...

Yet isis has no presence there. Because saudis dont send their salafi schools and money there, because those arent directed at israel but at their common enemies.

I see for example some pro-Trump pundits attack CNN as pro-palestinian and i dont know whether to laugh or cry.
In terms of foreign policy i think the american politicians who get it right are Pat Buchanan and Ron Paul, for example.

The worst for me is the neocon types, who flaunt their christianity yet do not give any shit about christians.

Trump was the first leading candidate to ever mention even middle eastern christians, i think his heart is in the right place but i doubt that his ears will be. He cant be expected to know much about the details of the middle east and will be advised by neocon type people.
