Yep, the job market isnt easy in Holland. I barely have any education myself and am almost an "older" employee. There are ten fresh university students for every job i go after.

I have plans for my own (niche) company but need to get really motivated to pull it off. Like always i still dont know what to do with my life.

Like a few people have mentioned, you can't really generalize European winters as being horrific everywhere..... Latvia, yes. I would stay the fuck out of any of the Baltic states or anywhere in North/Eastern Europe at this time of year.

Good options for Winter which will have more favorable weather and more going on would be Barcelona, Berlin, South of France, Greece, Portugal......

Have you already got a long-term apartment there or could you ditch Latvia and get a cheap flight to one of these spots?

My problem has always been a lack of focus and motivation. Lack of focus being the worst.
I have to work on that because i always do 10 different at the same time and never finish anything.

- writing for my dutch website
- writing for my english website and want to write a book
- work on my website and promote it.
- learn spanish
- plans for my own company
- want to take salsa lessons
- work out till i have a killer body
- rooshforum and other online stuff
- hang out with friends who are weed smokers
- read books

I have to find some job and a girl soon

The trick is not to do ten things at the same time, but to do each of them every day at different times. Consistency is the key.

You listed ten items (excluding smoking weed). Create a schedule and perform each of these tasks for an hour during each work day. If it sounds too hard at first, perform each of these tasks for half-an-hour each work day -- and work up to an hour per day.

If you live at home, give your schedule to your parents and ask them to hold you accountable. Keep your weekends open as a reward for for accomplishing so much during the week. Smoke weed only on the weekends as a reward for a productive week.

Do this for six months and you will be amazed at how much you have accomplished. Can you imagine how much Spanish you will learn after six months? If you do not work out at all now, you can almost double your strength (lifting weights) in six months. You will also be amazed at how much better you feel about yourself -- and how this will fuel your desire to do even more.

I second the poster who posted about Vitamin D. I notice a definite change in mood when it's winter and being in the northeast I absolutely hate it. I went to the doctor for a routine physical and the blood test showed low Vitamin D levels, and the doc recommended a supplement. Been supplementing every day since and the beast that I am in the summer has woken up.

I made a schedule like this already a few weeks ago, its not working for m because im too easily distracted. I need to pull out the internet cable out of my computer or something. I'm trying to write a travel story every day now. Nearly finished the dutch site. I might try to get some adderall again. I got a few tabs form a american chick and they worked like miracles.
When in Ecuador i wrote like a mad man for 4 hours straight on half a tab. This stuff i need for finishing a lot of writing.

Hey G, i see your point. well, i traveled 2 years and 8 months but only in Latin America from 23 March till 24 September (half a year), i dont count Brazil, and the caribean (guyana,suriname,french guyana,trinidad and jamaica) as latin because theres no spoken Spanish and a salsa scene.

I had many Latin girls whom i banged and hung out with for several days. I should have practiced my Spanish with them much more but i didnt bother because they spoke good English and i didn''t want to embarras myself with my crappy Spanish.

I had private salsa lessons on Cusco/Peru and was quite good at it for back then but afterwards i didn't practice for weeks and when in Cali the guys danced so good there i didnt bother dancing myself and make a fool of myself.
I don't blame anyone but myself for this.
The salsa lessons will take one hour a week and are mainly for getting myself out of the house also and socialize.

Nevertheless, Skywalker, try reading and practicing meditation. It does wonders on the long run, every aspect of you life is improved. Sorting out your priorities in life and handling anexiety is something that is managed when you get your inner life in order.

1. Put all energy from 9 -5 to GET A JOB...anything to get some money.
It's Shit not having an income and will affect your mood and everything else you want to do.
Once you are earning you will see some light down the road,even if it's a job you don't want to do for long.



2.Leave all computer activity (apart from job search) till evening time.
Laptops/surfing,aimlessly just SWALLOW THE HOURS and waste your Day.
Believe me I talk from experience.
If you limit computer to 2-3 hours a day it will focus your writing/blog work you WILL do other things!!
"Work fills the time allowed for it!"
Give it all day or week,and surprise it WILL take a day or week!

3 .Wake up working hours and do exercise for 30 minutes before anything.It will set you up for the day and raise your mood.

4.Once you have some work, for your other ambitions do 1,or at most 2 things at a time...
FOCUS means PROGRESS !!

" Man that chases 2 hares catches neither one!"
(we can relax this proverb a little but it's basically true...)
Anything really worthwhile you will need to put most of your energy and time into.

5.I read you talk of your lack of education.
Well,I think you mean education in a specific or technical profession....certainly not lack of intelligence or street smarts.I'm sure you learned plenty on the road.
So,maybe you could try applying to a travel agency/magazine....you know a LOT about many places now.
Education wise..think of a class you might be interested in which can qualify you for a profession that doesn't bore you to death.


6. PERSISTENCE....you must keep on keeping on ,just like your travelling and girl chasing
It takes Stamina to travel that long....So use that to advance at home!

I agree with Gm ,limit your dope smoking and hanging out until you're employed and on your way!

I don't know where you live but would it be easier to find a job if you moved to a bigger city Amsterdam/Rotterdam and better for meeting new poontang??

Back to the topic. I was in Tallin during Jan.-Feb. time frame. That was the coldest I've ever been. You gotta be a trooper to chase tail in those temps. I finally pussed out and retreated to the U.K. where it was just regular cold.

One thing, i don't smoke dope at home or outside meeting friends. I will do some dope smoking later tonight but first i will finishing my story on Thailand and post it today on my site. I will literally pull out my internet cable now.

Winters in Europe :

I went to a football match last night and i was all cramped up by the cold. Its wasn't even that cold but there was a nasty wind in the stadium. Luckily my team won big and it was good seeing some guys i always hang out with for the first time in early 3 years. The weather is nasty right now with lots of wind and rain. Typical Dutch weather.

Sao Paulo, Brazil is ranked number fourteen on the best weather list, while Rio is tied with three other cities at number thirty-three. The only other city in Europe rated excellent (meaning in the top thirty-seven locations), aside from Las Palmas at number one, is Faro, Portugal (tied at number twenty-five with Sydney). Across the Mediterranean, Casablanca, Morocco comes in at number three.

The winter is even getting to me, last night here in Ukraine it was -17, and it's going to get to -30 in next few days.

In vivL spring doesn't really start till April at least, and even then it rains every day

Roosh the baltic can be miserable in winter so why not head down south. Italy, Sciliy Portugal Cyprus (turkish half is dull but warm with no nightlife but Greek side is usually full of hot Russian chicks but is MEGA expensive.)

I dont think that I would mind the Scandinavian winters so much if there were actually people outside. I know its cold, but when the streets are empty by 4 it does not give a guy motivation to try and meet people.

After 6 it can be scary how quiet it is. Even a city like Malmo on a Thursday night I walked 4 blocks to the station and saw no one.

I am not sure if the baltics are like this as well. But if they are I understand how Roosh feels. Swedes consider themselves boring people. I can see why.

Oh and a cold front is moving through, peaking by the end of the week. Get ready for some winter!

wow! I am in Ireland, it has barely gone below zero this year! even now its 4 degrees....I heartily recommend gym and vitamin D tablets!

It's getting cold in London now and snow in the some parts of the UK.
Not sure how long for.

i don't mind cold if it's blue sky like NYC ...but London it's too often grey and that's pretty depressing day in day out.
