It's a good idea (organized gang fights) but they really should have some rules. Boxing is about controlled aggression and scoring points, but what I saw seemed to be uncontrolled and just fighting for the sake of it.

I wouldn't glorify these idiots as what they're doing is a competition to find out who will represent Russia in beating the fuck out of foreign supporters when the 2018 World Cup rolls round.

Other countries, except for some (Italians, Spaniards, Eastern Europeans), have made sure their troublesome supporters do not visit countries for sporting competitions.

What you will see in the Russian world cup is normal men, women and children on the receiving end of brutality from these types who live nothing but for the so-called glory of beating up others outside of their group. We saw only a small taster in the previous world cup when England fans had to run away from the oncoming Russian thugs amidst strong security.

Russian security forces will not have control over these guys without resorting to mass violence themselves and you shouldn't be anywhere near them.

Those videos of the Russian hooligans fighting each other seemed to show them following some informal rules, like backing off after your opponent goes face down. The fights last year in France between Russian and British hooligans were different. The Russians were trying to kill them, hitting them with chairs, metal bars, even when they were already unconscious. Why the difference?

I have been to few fight like this. My first fight gave me so much adrenaline, that I felt like on drugs. And then you know you want it again.

This is broadened mostly in Eastern Europe. This groups are around football clubs. It´s like sport. There are rules, you can say stop (doesn´t work everytime). But that´s what it´s about, if you give up, your friends will be beaten. You don´t fight for yourself, you fight for them and glory of you city and club. It´s about pride. And you can learn a lot of about yourself.

There seems to be (nonspoken?) rules in Roosh's videos.
For example, they don't aim to badly injure the opponents : no head stomping, no long strangling, etc.

I don't have a massive problem with this as long as it's kept away from normal fans. Marseille this year was ugly, no pride to be gained from it. If you want to fight equals who agree to fight you back to establish who the alpha pack is, fine. Attacking random people and trying to kill/injure them is shameful and I hope there's none of that in 2018. If English hooligans want to meet these ultras in a field somewhere and get the arses handed to them I don't give a shit, as they're fools who bring shame to the English game.

Interesting videos though: shows the importance of momentum (see the Demark vs Sweden vid) - backpedalling punches carry no power - and isolation. Seems that if the rest of the 'pack' can hold off the main body of the opponents, isolating one or two from the pack and then working them over with mismatched numbers takes them out quickly and your guys can re-join the fray.

You can tell those Russians have MMA training - some of them are beasts with their hands. Yes it looks like a bit of a shitfest, but people always drop to their lowest level of training under pressure. As for gassing after a minute, fighting is so much more knackering than any other physical activity. Even when I was training MMA, 3 x 2 minute rounds were absolutely exhausting, and by the end of the first round my best was behind me for the fight, and that was when I was in really good shape.

I am against the purpose. Football clubs / sports of masses do not deserve regular guys breaking limbs or suffer more injuries in meaningless fights. Also, they get the same adrenaline fighting somewhere one on one, and not 2 or 3 vs. one has it's been seen in many of these fights, where potential head damage and thrauma can be easily acquired via a sucker punch or similar maneuver.
It would be fun to check out the type and number of injuries in the end of one of these brawls. Certainly most of these fellas do not have to wake up soon to go to work the next day, or have families to feed.

Imagine the no holds fight in the John Wayne movie, "The Quiet Man". In the end of the fight they head to bar and have a drink. Same thing here, except its vodka. That the feel I get from these videos is beat each other up for couple of minutes and head to the pub for a few cold ones. Everything is controlled in those fights, with no serious injuries being made.

Russian Ultras have gloated about this WC being their chance to show off how good they are. Football clubs are just one aspect, they have inter gym fights too.

Re-watch some of the footage when England played Russia. There were segments of Russian fans (you know who) that didn't come to watch the football but instead came to beat people up and prove themselves.
