RE: JB's Colombian raid (Bogota, Cartagena, Baranquilla, Medellin)
Back on European soil. This trip was a blast, even if it could have been better.
7 notches & 1 blowjob in 19 days. Amazing memories that will last a lifetime.
I am very determined to make some bank and go back there in the next 6/8 months.
Here is what I will work on to enjoy the next trip even more:
- My big improvement for next time: I had a ball but the travel came at a point when I was tight cash wise. I will bring euros and not dollars like I did. I actually thought about cancelling the trip all together. Glad I did not.
It was still pretty cheap on the spot, but I had to downgrade accomodation sometimes and watch my expenses. Will definitely come loaded next time in order to be bulletproof and enjoy without worrying.
- Stay at a spot in Alto Prado in Bquilla, at the Plaza if it's not full or the Prado Hotel in El Prado. Some places where awesome in El Prado but traffic can get horrible and some hotel clerks would try to start trouble when I brought girls over as the place was small and I would stand out in the crowd. Buying them a coke/pizza was a good manoeuver that I will use again to soften them up
- Stay away from Bogota, which annoyed me with its rain and European vibe and from Cartagena with its prepagos and old gringos in flipflops.
- Get some suits done in Bogota, from the tailor Scotian recommends. Could not this time and my suit game can really improve as I bulked up and my measurements changed. Saw the ones KsockZ ordered. Looked awesome.
- Get the Uber app and change my bloody phone. Get the Booking app which was fast and instant compared to the bad surprises and long wait of Air BNB.
Half way through the trip, the applications started to freeze and the memory was full. I refrained a few times from crushing the phone on the floor. Uber is quite good here but be aware of the hours where they increase the price or when the traffic is slow. I'll have to be careful with airport rates.
- Call my taxi buddy in Bquilla and only use him there. Awesome dude with a good vision of life. If anyone needs a driver in Bquilla, shoot me a PM. I'll give you the contact of the guy.
-CHECK THE WEATHER BEFORE TRAVELING. I lost many days of daygames because of the rain. I think it was the worst time to travel. Floods, depressing mood, flakes, no transport... Probably rained one day out of two. It could have been avoided.
- Spend more time writing, maybe keep a journal with sketches and drawings and improving my Spanish. Started from 0 Spanish. After 25 hours of Pimsleur and some coaching on Skype, it got acceptable. After 3 weeks in Colombia, it SKYROCKETED. I am extremely pleased, I will keep on working on it in order to crush it next time I am in South America.
-Bring more than one adapter and phone charger. Lost 2 already there.
- Travel alone or with game-aware male-only friends. Was there with a gang including a girl and guys that had very little notion of game. Was dragged to shitty tourist traps sometimes and had to deal with the opinion clashes and the typical pouting and crying of girls that were not my responsability plus betatude and tourist laziness with them not speaking Spanish and having to be the official translator/map/photographer/security after dark. Never again.
- Go easy on the fighter/boxer image here when dropping bait or being cocky. Just send the vibe of a sportsman instead. The fighter image kills it in Eastern Europe but it scared the girls I met in Colombia. One did not call me back as she was influenced by TV hearing stories of boxers hitting or killing their wives.
That would be a good start. Datasheet coming up.
Boys, if that is misery, let's hope it will last

Better to not bring cash, you get raped on the exchange. Check the rates here and compare to whatever your bank gives you:

Horses for courses. Bogotá rain and traffic suck but I think the women here are friendlier than in Medellin, there's plenty to do, and there's less hassle on the street than in Cartagena.

Here's the weather forecast for /any/ day on Bogotá: There will be rain interspersed with blistering sun that'll burn ya to the bone in under 30 minutes. Occasional hail accumulations to a metre or two.

Unilago, (K15/Cl 78) is your friend.

I've literally heard that the girls there look nothing like paisas or the rest of the popular Colombianas we love so much, but it'd be great to hear what another verdict is from someone else.
The hottest girl of my entire 40-yr-life was from Bucaramanga. Mixed ancestry, ass and legs for days. Once I banged her seven times in three hours. I'm pretty much immune to oneitis but she tested my resolve. She was like a drug.
I met her in Medellin, where she was living, but based on that experience I plan to hit Bucaramanga next time.
