The former girlfriend of billionaire George Soros hit the philanthropist in the head and knocked the glasses clean off his lawyer's face during a deposition for her $50 million lawsuit against him, according to papers filed in Manhattan today.

Yes, without doubt all direct relationships are transactional (unconditional love does not exist in any form other than belief) & it's just the goods or services that differ for the most part however when it comes to LOVE, in any of its fine forms, that marks the end of the transactional.

In short, both parties have have transacted more times than either party can account for anymore.

Then it's LOVE.

"Disney love" certainly is a lie. True romance is not.

The terms "romance," "true love," etc., have become corrupted in our day and age. "True love" is seen as some corny, mushy concept of finding your "soulmate" (after years on the cock-carousel), saying the words "I love you" to each other, and writing sappy love poems. This is not true romance.

True romance involves game, only instead of using it to pick up sluts, you're using it to find a good wife. True romance means your woman belongs to you and only you (I believe the woman must be a virgin for you to truly own her, otherwise a part of her is always with the other guy(s) she has been with, but some of you may disagree with me on this). True romance also means that there is a courtship process in which both partners, with the help (and in the woman's case, final approval) of their family, evaluate one another to make sure they are choosing the right person.

I feel stupid repeatedly using a corny term like "true romance." I just can't think of a better term to use. I hate that these terms have been corrupted by the Hollywood and Disney culture.

Honestly, how is that less depressing?

In one scenario, you're with a young woman in a clearly transactional relationship with no love. From this relationship, you at least get the satisfaction of being with a pretty younger woman, which is more enjoyable sexually and more fun socially (better on your arm).

In the other scenario, you are with a woman your age who may (or may not) have gotten with you for reasons other than your money (assuming you weren't well off or weren't looking quite likely to be well off when she first met you). She's not sexually appealing at all and doesn't look good on your arm. You say that the benefit of this is that you both know nobody else wants you and you're only good for each other, but that doesn't sound so fantastic to me, especially given the high likelihood that after 40+ years together there isn't much affection left between us anyway (meaning that the relationship is no more loving than it might have been with the younger woman, who was at least sexy and looked good on the arm).

I mean, how does that convo even go?

"Well, we're both really old and we don't really have much romantic affection for one another anymore after 3-4 decades together, but at least we're both almost dead and nobody else wants us!"

That sounds about as depressing as it gets.

I don't rate Soros, but I don't think he's necessarily playing the wrong card here.
