Action against Dash Global
1. Dash has been warned several times in the past year, particularly for hyping locations he has never been. He has failed to stop.

2. More recently, he has gotten moody and offensive. He's hijacking threads with bullshit replies and taking value AWAY from the threads. I just suspended him for 1 week for insulting another member's data sheet and the day it's over he returns to both insulting and hyping locations he has never been to.

He has shown he doesn't want to be a member who contributes value, so his posting has been indefinitely suspended, as I figure he was just a few days away from a bigbootyluvr meltdown.

I don't usually announce when a member is banned, but Dash is the fourth most frequent poster here so it's slightly possible his disappearance may bring questions.

RE: Action against Dash Global
It's unfortunate but makes sense. I am new here, but personally I would like to see it be made against the rules to post data sheets about places people have not been. Maybe a more experienced member can set me straight, but in my opinion I think data sheets and similar info should be left for people who have experienced the place/topic first hand, not just researched it online.

I enjoyed his adventure thread. I also enjoyed when The G tore him apart on multiple occasions. I wish him well in his future endeavors.

I had this guy on ignore for the longest time. The posts I saw were never more than one line, and they still managed to be riddled with errors.

I've had more than one duel with this guy. I found his ignorance to be rather remarkable. I don't think we've suffered a particularly great loss.

Know your enemy and know yourself, find naught in fear for 100 battles. Know yourself but not your enemy, find level of loss and victory. Know thy enemy but not yourself, wallow in defeat every time.

This one ran the course of a thread about retirement-its probably the most notable beatdown I saw G put on Dash:
/thread-6538-p...l#pid92445

These three posts come from a thread about 9/11's 10th anniversary, after Dash showed he knew nothing about the Second World War (a couple of others guys beat him down in that thread too):
/thread-6516-p...l#pid91901
/thread-6516-p...l#pid91859
/thread-6516-p...l#pid91850

And these two more recent posts (recent meaning today) involve G calling Dash out on his useless info lately:
/thread-9622-p...#pid144902
/thread-9646-p...#pid144889

Edit: There may have been more beatdowns, but these are the ones I saw.

I lost respect for the guy after he PM'd me to ask about work in my field (Canadian oil sands), I gave the guy some very SOLID advice about work visas, where to find jobs, specific companies to apply to, types of positions available, etc.

And for that I got....nothing, not even a thanks!

So long Dash!

Edit: There may have been more beatdowns, but these are the ones I saw.

The most brutal one was where I caught him on one thread complaining about "handouts" for the poor.

And then on another thread, I caught him talking about how he was scamming unemployment.

That thread I think got deleted.

Roosh, where is that one? That was one of the greatest "call outs" on the history of this board. In my humble opinion of course.

*Update, I just found it on google's cache, here is the jist:

Quote:Dash -

I really hate to stomp you like a group of Skinheads would stomp a skinny gay kid every few days, but you continually ask for it.

Your tax dollars?

You are a freeloader.

You admitted it yourself.

Let me quote you again:

"If you dont already know im planning on going to teach in Korea in August and have no intention of getting a job state side for only like 1.5 months. For the past month I have been filling for unemployment online and fibbing about my job search. As I havent applied to not one place." - Dash "I am a free-loader but hate other free loaders" Global

/thread-5297.html

Your "tax dollars" if you generated any, probably paid for 2 bullets.

Again, you are a pro-war chickenhawk that didn't serve in the military when it was your turn.

People that talk tough and then cower in the corner and let others do the fighting for them are despicable.

The guy had zero honor as was a complete hypocrite.

The one thing you could say about him was that he was consistent. A consistent jack*ass.

He also would argue about things like real estate investing with guys like Houligan Harry would actually have done real estate investing and he had never even bought one crib. Hell, I don't think he had two nickels to rub together.

On political threads, he had no idea what he was talking about. Then of course, he was a Pro-war coward that of course never served in the military. (everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but this one I thought was weak character)

He was a typical "know it all" that knew exactly nothing. He is the kind of kid that never would have made it out of 2nd grade if he grew up where I did.

He would constantly post information that he had no knowledge of; this hurts the integrity of the board.

Then he would argue about cities or countries that he had never been to. He did this at minimum once a week.

I honestly can barely think of one thing he contributed of value. Maybe two or three things. 99% of what he wrote was worthless.

Someone actually PM'd me a link of him on a teaching board in Korea where he was asking for advice on how to skip town on his cell phone plan in Korea.

He basically got stomped, hazed, and brutalized on that board (by English teachers no less!) as he was giving Americans a bad name over there.

Bottom line, the guy had no character.

And he typed like a little girl which is annoying as hell.

Just for fun, here is when Roosh Slaps him around for posting about places he has never been:

Dash comment: /thread-4131-p...l#pid49636

Roosh slapping Dash: /thread-4131-p...l#pid49690

Dash admitting that he has never been to Argentina: /thread-4131-p...l#pid49728

Roosh stomping Dash: /thread-4131-p...l#pid49730

The guy was a straight up bullshitter - let's call it what it is.

He went from asking you this, to asking about security clearance for civilians, to selling his laptop so he can stay in Central America (or wherever the fuck he says he was) an extra week. To coming down to South Florida only to say after a week he is leaving because girls are "hard" - pleeeaze.

No loss to the forum, I can assure you.

I think Dash is a new kind of troll that Tuthmosis has not pinned down/labeled yet, the kind of troll that can infiltrate the forum for months, accumulate rep points, and never really contribute shit!

What would you call that kind of troll Tuth?

While we are talking about fake reports or false information, I would like to bring up the issue of age again. Age needs to be displayed too. I know people can lie about it, but most probably wont, there is no real advantage to it

It makes a massive difference in helping understand posters and where they may be coming from. Roosh and Mixx would be posting information thats more relevant to me at 35 than someone like a PDog whose information may be more relevant to a younger backpacker for example. At the same time it helps understand their perspective a little better too.

There are some really good posters here who are still quite young. Guys like Athlone, Pdog and Blunt for example. Being younger does not discredit their opinion at all and they are all smart guys, but age will help understand where they are coming from too.

Don't know if I ever told you but I do appreciate the info you threw my way! That goes for everyone I've gone back and forth with in pm's.

I didn't have a problem with Dash. Has anyone ever met up with him?

I totally agree. It is crap when someone lectures the board about something and later we find out that they are only 17 or 18 years old and they don't know shit about what they are talking about.

Agreed. I think age plays a huge part on this forum, and gaming in general. Think age being displayed would be a step in the right direction.

Location would be cool too, just to get a feel for where everyone is at since a lot of us travel.

Yup, same here. Also, I had doubts as to Dash's trip to El Salvador but let it lie.

For the record, I've received solid career/resume advice from both Smitty and HH in private correspondance. There are solid, contributing members on this forum. Don't let a bad apple like Dash spoil the the rest of the bushel. We global plyers are truly a minority and need to stick together.

hey guys, I agree that identifying the Senior from Younger players is a good thing. However, let's not be too hard on the youngbloods. They all truly behave themselves on the forum, and I like that most listen and respect what senior players have to say in mature ways. I recently learned that Chad Daring was like 20 or something young like that, and Athlone Mcginnis (sp?)....damn, these young bucks are very mature. Even the veteran players can learn form the young ones, just not very often Laugh

RE: Action against Dash Global
It's a shame that someone so pessimistic and unhelpful was allowed to persist on the forum for so long. I'm surprised by how many rep points he had for someone who has been discredited time and again on many issues. Something had to be up with his life to linger around the forum in a constant trollish manner for so long. People like that detract from the quality and essence of what this whole community is about. We are here to learn from and educate each other so that we can live better as men. Dash constantly put down other members and insulted them, failing to even acknowledge the honesty and detail in the posts of other members, like the one guy recently who dropped an honest data sheet from his time in Rio. Dash insulted the guy by mocking the number of flags he got. That's just unacceptable.

I'm going to be transitioning to more game-related topics instead of travel and general knowledge. I've been focused on this bread lately and building a harem. I plan to go HAM on the chicas this year because next year it will be the big "three-oh" for me. I'm more focused than ever, lining up dates every night or two this week, using all avenues, including caveman, which I executed this past weekend. I'll be back with some reports from the front lines in the near future

Thanks to all the G's--old and new--who have dropped game wisdom on here since I've joined. I've gained some insights from it that has helped my overall strategy.
