Lynch must have briefed him on what the FBI has, and Obama and his staff realized that she's in deep shit and they need to start telling their other allies to duck for cover to minimize the damaging fallout.

Well he is still planning to go stump for her on tour, so I would not say he abandoned her. He just isn't going to attack his own FBI appointee like she and others might, because it makes him look bad or downright crazy.

Yes, just like we're willing to make anonymous comments about the incompatibility of certain cultures/religions or how single motherhood is destroying the nuclear family and western civilization with it.

This is exactly why I posted that response to Foolsgold's post. Modern FBI agents and Justice Dept. folks, are all something (Democrat or Republican). Like many things in our country, the ethics and quality of doing your job has gone down considerably in lots of ways, all because we are increasingly more polarized politically.

Also just goes to show that even investigating a recently gone president, is just as politicised and difficult as trying to investigate a standing one or in our case, a potential one.

When I was still in college I had a very old US Social Policy professor that once said, that unless a supreme court justice or a current or past president, walked outside and shot someone with a gun, it would be damn near impossible to send them to jail for anything.

We laughed at what he said, but he did not crack a smile or anything. Seems like that old man was telling the truth in alot of ways.
