Where in Mexico are there heavy Cuban populations? I've seen/met tons of Cubans in Guadalajara, but have never even seen one in the other two cities (Acapulco and Playa del Carmen) where I have spent time, and yeah, Cubans are generally the most successful or one of the most successful immigrant groups everywhere they land.

Believe it or not, the highest concentration of Cubans in Mexico is in the affluent neighborhoods of Polanco and Condesa in Mexico City, where most of the embassies are located. Why? Cuban officials and diplomats traditionally have used the Cuban Embassy in Mexico as a platform for their operations, covert and uncovert, to all Latin America. So, they come along with their families, and then their families' families and friends; they just need an anchor diplomat or official to land a huge number of people. The rest is easy, being Cubans educated and skilled as they are, they don't have a big problem to success, besides, Mexicans and Cubans are natural buddies. Cubans refer to Mexicans as 'Manitos', shortened way of 'Hermanitos', that is, 'Little Brothers'. Mexican women just LOVE Cuban dark skinned men, their stunning dancing abilities and their direct and agressive game, while Mexican men don't have any problem at all with Cuban women's promiscuity.
