It's only October 4th.
October surprise could still be many things, I doubt this is it, despite my disappointment tonight. Assange is an impressive guy, he's still standing with multiple medical ailments, no fresh air/sunlight/significant exercise in a LONG time, etc...
He will need some relief medically/housing wise in the next few months or he may lose involvement/momentum (and I'm sure he's seen as a CEO who is nearl a saint within his organization).

Well, first release coming up this week, hope it's decent.
Yeah.
Interestingly enough, the Right Side Broadcasting staff took over the audio (one single guy) and shared that he was frustrated as well, but that we shouldn't put all our eggs in one basket and then came on again later saying that wikileaks didn't promise to release Hillary info tonight and that we'll just have to see what happens this week as a result.
He also said they were going to tune out because he needed to get some rest and cover all the upcoming Trump rallies. High energy from Right Side Broadcasting. I am impressed.
Yeah, they're good guys. Everyone's just sleepy and grumpy because it's so early in the morning. I'm glad Joe came back on to clear things up and give some props to Wikileaks.
Damn I am glad I overslept. Assmange has struck again. His narcissism has gotten the best of him again. Ditto for Alex Jones as well. HAHA! Oh well.
He is really risking the future of Wikileaks dickteasing the world like this. I think future leakers might use one of their competitors after seeing this ridiculously absurd stunt and ploy to sell books.
Every little bit helps Trump, but Trump can beat her without his help. No big deal there. I still don't like how he doesn't understand how serious the risk of sitting on this information affects many lives. Everytime they whine about Chelsea and his torture, Seth's death, and that UK guy Lori, they forget that if Hillary stays within + or - 3% of Trump it is easier for them to rig the election and her to win. Then the body count will be x100. If they actually care about people's lives, they cannot grandstand on stuff like this. I sincerely hope this will be the end of Wikileaks next year. They need competition, new energy, new direction.
I think Julian should step down, but he would never do that. He's a tyrant. Others in their group just need to branch out and try. There are other leak sites out there, but future leakers need to use Google first to find them or VPN and use 4Chan if it is a small amount. Giving anything to Julian from now on is just not a good idea anymore. He is stepping outside of the journalist circle and more into the terrorist circle by creating too much political agenda around his operation.
Anyway, like Suits pointed out earlier, where is the update on that gurney? Is there any link for that Sean Hannity report of possible heart issues? Now THAT might be bigger than any leaks Assmange has. Sick Hillary has been a larger factor than most leaks so far in the election. So much so, they attacked Mike for it and that is all he focuses on, because he doesn't seem to believe leaks will matter. He, Samseau, and a few others on the forum are looking like geniuses today, that's for sure.
Wikileaks twitter is talking about how the media overhyped everything and it was just an anniversary event.
Bull fucking shit. This "hype" has been going on a week or better and not once did Assmange or the Twitter account diffuse it or set the expectation of what was to be discussed. Julian is an attention whore and a narcissist. He is also a pretty decent liar as well. Those are facts. This is not his first rodeo pulling stunts like this. He did something similar back in 09/2010 as well. He loves doing this shit. That is why plenty folks called it several hours before the event that he might tease. Why would he set expectations when he wants you to buy a USB drive and a book? Knowing damn well what everyone wants to see?
What army is he talking about? He cannot use Weaponize Autism. Some of them are on /pol/ losing their shit, talking about how they want to vote for Hillary now, so that she will drone strike the embassy and kill him. They want his head!
He better hire some girls from Sweden or something to datamine for him. If they give him shit about his rape allegation, he should tell them, "Why would I rape you, when I can tease you to death?" He's still the same ol G (gameless bastard) from years ago. You couldn't make this shit up. What a circus.
I'm watching Hannity's show from last night on youtube, and heard Kellyanne Conway use the term "Hillary's scandalabra". Not a new term, I guess, it shows up in google from August. But it's the first I heard of it and I laughed out loud. Pretty good one, that.
Maybe a bit too clever to really catch on, though.
What are the odds Clinton paid him off and he just dumps a bunch of tabloid bullshit? Hillary taking jabs at POSPOTUS, her talking about sexual feelings she has for that Arab women, her complaining about work. Basically just making her seem like the average Jane sending out hundreds of texts daily to her gfs.
The whole thing was a case of a lot of people getting overexcited. Assange never promised a huge leak, and clearly the press conference format (on the 10th anniversary of Wikileaks) was not the place to do anything like that. Roger Stone was the one who seemed to stir the whole thing up, not Assange.
Alright, here's the thing on Hannity about Hillary's heart problems. No real substance in the actual segment.
Start at 19:20, it's the bit with Ed Klein. I guess this stuff is covered in his book Guilty as Sin. Is it real, or is he drumming up sales? Dunno. My reading list is way too long to shoehorn that in right now.
Assange just used the hype to push his book and other junk.
Had he said, "we're not leaking anything" no one would have watched and he wouldn't be able to push his donations and book.
Julian's an idiot. If you want to leak something, do it on 4chan. At least there the effect will take hold. He's doing a disservice to democracy and journalism for his own ego.

That was a good segment. They made some very good points aside from the heart stuff. I don't know enough about heart stuff to know how bad a leaky valve is. Sounds horrible though.

That's my read as well. He saw the hype, could've dispelled expectations at any time, but was too greedy for attention to do so.

Well said. His critics and the liberals call him a cyber-terrorist but he calls himself a journalist. He isn't a journalist. He's an old washed up hacker that published secret cables or re-printed the ones others dropped. Like the Cryptome and OpenSecrects guys did.
Real journalists dig, find, vet/confirm, interview, then publish asap. Usually because they are trained to never sit on a scoop because if another guy beats them to the story, they won't eat. Journalistic integrity is the complete opposite of what he is doing.
The only way a real journalist sits on shit like that is if he cannot legally write the story and others cannot either.
Either way, journalism as we used to know it, died a long time ago. This is what we have left of a "press". Guys like DOBA went extinct long ago.
If he wants to play politician and cause havoc in our country by sitting on stuff and using it for money and leverage, he is worse than J Edgar Hoover, and if you live by that sword you will die by it. He's got a death wish.
If you were evil Obama, would you call his bluff and kill him with a CIA spy operative inside the embassy? If I were evil or Obama or both, I might do it. What are the chances he actually gave the insurance drop password to someone else? Probably zero. He probably is too selfish and arrogant to do such a thing. He probably cannot trust any worker in Wikileaks with anything and probably micromanages the entire org. Then again, the NSA might have already broke inside the file and probably showed Obama what's inside, and he probably did not like it. If they haven't broken that encryption yet, that's pretty lazy on their part.
