Hey guys,

Over the next few months I have to survive on a little over 1k living in the U.S. Now before you say that's impossible, my only expense will be gas. At the same time I still am hoping to get some notches, but I obviously can't afford to do the typical 3 date thing with each date coming in at $40 or more.

What are your opinions on the cheapest possible dates? I should also mention that for these few months I am at my parents house, so I can't invite the girls over for dinner or whatever.

I am thinking that the cheapest scenario is first date coffee. Then either the movies or chilling at the park for the second and third dates. This should come to about $20, which is my around my target amount to spend.

Thoughts? Any advice on how to rack up more time with a girl without spending money would be great.

Yeah I agree you should not date ever. I'm continually disappointed everytime I date a woman. It's a waste of time and money. And it makes it harder to bang them (they tend to see me as a potential boyfriend and hold out).

Do not "date" daytime if you can avoid it. I've found girls aren't in the mood and require more comfort time vs night. So more opportunities for you to blow $5 here and there bouncing her around. Then she gets tired and has to go anyway. It's dumb.

I would avoid bringing up your budget bc it's usually a DLV unless you're a backpacker in which case the frugality might seem charming.

Just accept you'll have some costs like entry, drink, cab if you're likely to be successful. You can get laid without paying but trying to do so for a month will throw your game off big time.

I'd skip coffee and just suggest "let's hangout" then walk around a trendy area or anything with good logistics. If public drinking is allowed that's a great option while strolling. Get something cheap at convenience store and walk her. Also much less awkward to split up if she ends up being lame. Just say hey it's been fun but I'm late for XXX I forgot about and walk away lol.

Look for Apps which show free events in your area.

I use the "Time Out" app. It shows all the free arts shows / live music / food tasting / etc events in and around London.

It's been a major money saver for me.

Cheapo first "date" ideas that have gotten me the bang in the past:

Science museum/art museum: In a large city you can get often get discount/free passes at your local library. Brown bag some booze to take a long with you. Girls love this.

Evening block party concerts that many larger New England towns put on during the summer

Go out for an ice cream/froyo and then find a quiet park to take a stroll in. It gives me a little bit of perverse satisfaction that there's a certain park bench, somewhere in the greater Boston area, that I've sat with three different girls on at different points during the last year and proceeded to go home with all of them. They were all sitting in exactly the same spot that the other ones were! It must be some kind of magic bench!

Just go out to a sports bar that's not too long a drive from her place. Have a couple drinks each, maybe some (light) food and split the tab down the middle. $40 is crazy talk money for a bar first date, split dutch it shouldn't cost you more than $20 tops even if you sit there for an hour and a half. She should be feeling a little loopy after two huge sports bar IPAs and if she likes you it should be a no brainer to ask if she'd like to have a smoke out in your car after (lots of girls are secret casual smokers.) If it goes well and she doesn't start resisting escalation just pitch the bounce to her place ("maybe we should go somewhere a little more, uh, private?" while looking around concerned in a joking way.)

If she puts the brakes on and doesn't want to move forward at that point, just cut your losses and hit up another girl. BTW in all these situations you can go for something in your car if you want, since you'll be living at home, but it's preferable that you've done a little research beforehand to hopefully ensure the venue isn't too far from her crib or the crib of an accommodating accomplice of yours. Pulling girls to their own cribs if you're nearby is perfectly acceptable to lots of girls and not rocket-science; some even seem to feel more comfortable with me coming home with them to a familiar place in a SNL situation than going to the pad of a strange guy they ain't really know.

Thanks for all the advice guys.

First off, I know the name seems ironic lol. I am not working and have a good amount of money tied up in the stock market, so although I am broke, I could in theory pull out thousands of dollars tomorrow if I wanted to. I just have very specific reasons why I need to stay alive on 1k for the rest of this year.

I totally agree about the ONS strategy, but I have two problems with it. The first has to do with me as an individual. Right now I am crazy out of shape, like 6'1'' and 300 lbs. While I look like a muscular fat guy, I don't get nearly as much attention from women as I used to. I am definitely working on getting in shape, but it takes time. So what I've found is that it is harder to get the ONS because it is MUCH harder to get the attraction pumped up.

The second issue is the city I live in, or more precisely where I live in the city that I live in. There is absolutely nothing going on in the part of town that I am in. The places that serve alcohol are filled with 40+ out of shape people, and I'd bet that the average age of people at the pubs nearby is probably around 50. Even if I go to the areas where it is somewhat happening and I specifically go to the free spots the ratios are really bad. The spots that are worth going to are trendy and a bit harder to pull at with my weight issue.

All that being said, I am going to do my best with what I have. The only issue I have with not dating ever is that I have never had a true one night stand, so that will be a steep learning curve in and of itself.

OP you're going to have a very hard time because you have so many strikes against you: you're fat, you're effectively broke, you live with your parents, and you appear to have little experience with girls (movie date?).

What value are you bringing to a decent looking girl?

I don't intend to be mean but those are the facts as you laid them out. I'm not saying what you want is impossible but it's going to be very difficult. If you're in a major city a movie is about 12-15$, so your budget is not realistic even for this.

Frankly getting laid should be your least concern, although you did not provide details as to what will happen after this year is over. I do wish you luck.

I won't take your response the wrong way at all because I probably would have said the same thing. Tough love I guess.

I'm fat but have quite a bit of muscle from years of lifting, so I don't look as fat as someone my weight should. That being said, I shouldn't make excuses for being overweight, but within 6 months I will be at or near an ideal weight.

Although I am a "type", I am generally considered handsome by most women, very handsome by some, and I do certainly get the female haters. Being fat makes my face less attractive, but I have always been considered the guy that could get by on his looks alone with the tiniest bit of game. I just come from a position of social anxiety when I was young which is why I haven't killed it with women my whole life. I've since dated more than one stripper just on looks and have had women outside of bars come up to me and ask me to come home with them (when I was in shape, obviously).

My money is tied up in the market, but by December I will likely have more than I need (depends on election day). Not going into details on an online forum.

I actually have a decent amount of experience with women. The fact that I never had a true ONS was because I've only been to bars and clubs a limited number of times since I don't enjoy alcohol. I am going to switch to night game once I get my body in order, but I would put money (that I don't even have) that I could hang with most "players" during the day.

If you think I am new to women simply because I suggested a movie date then you are way off. I am in no way suggesting that movie dates are the key to every top notch player's arsenal, but guys have been using movies to get laid for DECADES. Based on my experience with women Mystery's old 7 hour rule (or 8 hour rule, I forget) is true when the girl isn't super horny or you don't have the advantage of having a high SMV. A two hour movie (which costs $16 dollars for two tickets in the major city I'm in) and then an hour or so cuddle in a park is a cheap way to spend time and establish some kino. Add $4-8 at Starbucks on a first date and you come to a total around $20. Even if you think I'm inexperienced with women, do you really doubt that I can do math?

Also, maybe this doesn't matter that much when dealing with women, but I am reasonably intelligent (only bringing this up because you asked what I bring to the table with a girl). I've met my fair share of girls that immediately tell me they are sapiosexuals.

The living with parents thing is a strike against me, but I've fucked in parks at night and in my car, and that is if I can't find a way to get to the girls place.

I'm not being defensive or in anyway butt hurt by your post, just wanted to respond. Yes I have a lot to do to improve myself, but I'm not a complete social retard and bound to a wheelchair and missing one leg. I'm an out of shape guy, or may I venture to say player, down on his luck. I'm down, but not out.

1) Bring liquor.

2) Drink in the car before you go in and bring the bottle along. Fireball shots in the car and movie theatre?

3) Sit away from other people.

3) Escalate as much as possible. She might get excited from being in public.

Also wanted to add that "sapiosexual" seems to me mostly to be a nonsense term college-educated white feminists deploy, for who knows what purpose, that I can't recall any girl more attractive than a "5" ever using. Just about all women see a guy who's intelligent and seems knowledgeable about a wide range of topics as a value-added turn on feature, even hairdressers, so simply be proud of that and don't let this "I'm a sapiosexual" stuff flatter you too much.

If you didn't live with your parents, you could go with the classic "come over and I'll cook you dinner," but ignoring the fact you live with your parents, a food focused date is probably going to highlight your obesity issues in a way that you don't want to.

How about you schedule a daily 5K run in the park and invite girls to join you. Every day that you can't convince at least a 6 to show up and join you in spandex, it becomes a 10K run.

As you probably know what is most important to a girl is how she feels, and that can be done for free. Plenty of guys have gotten bangs with no money, but those guys typically have a lot of experience (i.e. Rejections behind them).

One thing you can try on a second date is to do a picnic (weather permitting). Supply your own snacks and drinks. Easy and "romantic." Walks in indoor gardens can also be used.

Ultimately though you're going to have to get to her place because of your living situation. Can you cook? Even if you can't, learn to cook a meal well and then volunteer to do it at her place (pasta dish should be cheap enough). Buy some sangria (it's cheap and girls love it), and you should be set.

All you can do is your best.

x2 on the app "Time Out" as it's called overseas, and "Time Out World" as it's called in the states. Foreign girl turned me on to it but it does have some stuff in the US as well. Depends on the location but definitely worth looking into.

Edit: Googled, might be an Android vs Apple thing or maybe they changed it. I remember not being able to find Time out back when I was looking for it but TOW was the same thing.

I completely agree, except about the "5" limit. I've met hotter than 5's that use the term (but not by much), but yes they've all been annoying white girls. I wasn't flattered by the sapiosexual thing at all, in fact the first time I heard it the chick gave me massive blue balls through 4 dates, so again, I totally agree.

I'm just legit intelligent. Not even bragging, just fact. People notice, but sometimes it makes me look like a nerd, except that I'm physically large.

Lol. I don't believe in running unless it's from a wild animal. I believe in lifting heavy and eating lots of protein. Gym hoes used to be all over me when I was 210, I need to get back on my game.

But... on the topic of working out with women... in my experience it's rare to get a female (or male for that matter) into exercise unless they already are into it, in which case they would want to exercise with someone on their level.

I have a good amount of experience behind me compared to the average guy (I know that isn't saying much). Also I tend to be a fast learner, so I think I gain more from rejections than most guys. I'm not saying that to be a douche, I'm just comparing myself to my idiot cousins overseas that have literally used the same lines and tactics for years and continue to do so despite their shit results.

I do agree that I need a lot more experience (in all honesty who doesn't), but based on my experience over the past few years I've decided that SMV trumps game even though both are extremely important. As you made clear in your previous post, my SMV is pretty damn low right now, so yes it's hard to pull at the moment both in terms of quality and quantity. The main thing I have going for me now compared to when I had a lot more SMV is that I'm much more fearless and experienced.

About the cooking... learning to cook has been on my list of things to do for probably a decade, but it has fallen behind other projects like learning Spanish and more relevant things like getting in shape, getting laid, and getting paid. So the answer is no, I can't cook. Also I'm on a strict diet so eating with other people is out.


About the whole movie thing, I don't think it is the best way to do things, but I'm glad others agree that it can be pulled off. I've gotten head a few times at the movies, and kino is easy to pull off if you go to a movie that has been in theaters for a while on an off night. I think it can be a pretty effective third date (I know, the goal is to not date, trust me I want nothing more than ONS but I'll take what I can get). First date coffee and go for a kiss at some point, maybe the end (I have kissed at Starbucks, I don't know why some people think it's impossible). Second date free museum before going to a nearby park (change the scene up and do some heavy petting to get her more used to being felt up). Third date movies on an off night, rub the tits and the pussy through the clothes. That night or the next time chill at her place and bang or fuck at a park at night.

In the past when I've been here I've most stuck to grocery stores after people get off work. That's usually good for a number or two a day.

I didn't say there is no nightlife in the city I live in, just not in my immediate area. It's a 30 minute drive away.
