I was considering Australia as a place to go, not sure though, looks expensive to fly there as well as stay there. If you find some cheap option let me know, I'm looking for somewhere to go this summer(June, July)
Also, is it still warm at that time of the year? I know it's fall by then... Winter in July right?

Correct. When I went. It was mad hot. I've heard that in June/July, it can get to about 10 degrees celsius. Not too warm

I would just like to point out that girls in Sydney (my home city) even the foreign ones are generally slutty but very focused on looks. If you are a very handsome guy you will get laid a lot, however average looking men for the most part (unless you fit some special niche like yoga instructor, blonde surf instructor, musician, black american, etc) will struggle to get laid even with below average looking girls (guys living here are thirsty and generally have low standards, therefore making it competitive). In conclusion if you are a handsome guy with tons of cash its a good city to lay sexy international/foreign girls from all over the world and you will be swimming in top notch pussy. For the average guy Sydney is worth visiting for a holiday (if you can afford it) but I would not go there to get laid (it might happen if you get lucky but the odds are not in your favour).

Yes I did say it before. I just felt that it was an important enough point that it was worth re-iterating. I do not want guys thinking that its an easy place to score.

One difference between say Australia and the U.S.A. is that in Australia country girls are not so different from our city girls. The bitch shields and narcissm of country girls in Australia might be slightly lower than their city counterparts but not by enough to mean that they are good girlfriend material or pleasant to be around. Whereas in certain "bible belt" parts of the U.S. (at least fom what I have heard anyway, I do have some uncles and cousins living in the U.S.A) you can find some very conservative and old fashioned women which you will not really find in Australia.

For the guys asking about weather in Australia winter is June, July, August. Summer is December, January, February. Weather does vary a bit depending on the city. In general just do not come in June, July and August. The other 9 months of the year are okay to visit Australia.

In Australia generally the further north you go the hotter and the further south the colder. Sydney weather is in general quite pleasant (not too hot and not too cold) most of the year, and out of the capital cities of Australia Sydney arguably has the best overall weather over the full 12 month cycle.

I was thinking of travelling down to Sydney. I've been reading about how great it is for black guys, but what about middle eastern looking guys? I'm North Indian but I basically look middle eastern.

Jazzman, do not come here for women as a middle eastern looking man and expect to have success with anything other than average or below average asian girls at slimy clubs in the city. The night life in sydney has become considerably more social circle oriented following the lockout laws; a man with your features will really only have success in central city bars if you drop a lot of cash or perhaps at one of the regional centres like the fiddler in the western suburbs. For the quality girls sydney is pretty much restricted to muscular blond guys with long hair and musicians rule. Great fun to visit but don't expect too much success with women.

Bogart, I'm from Melbourne, and we have a perception of Sydneysiders as materialistic and superficial, but isn't such a white bread Aryan restriction pretty archaic?

For the record, I'm not a 6'3" white fair-skinned blond Greek God (an ironic metaphor, if we're talking about Anglo/Northern-European men getting first dibs on prime pussy ), even if I'm hovering around top 20% looks. I've had no issues gaming Sydney chicks, in fact my NSW flag was from there -- though it must be said they were all on holiday. These weren't bottom of the barrel western suburbs club sluts either.

I'll preface this by saying that my look is something of a combination of franco and bateman - i'm 6'3 myself but with dark swarthy features (most people think i'm greek actually).

It may just be my style more than anything. I'm a bit of a intellectual wanker and love deep or entertaining conversations, and I know in the past that has probably cost me with some of the more attractive girls i've encountered. To be fair i am harsher on Sydney than i possibly should be, it is entirely possible that my experience is just very irregular but in general I have come to expect little of this city womenwise, especially when compared to other cities. Melbourne seems like a better choice in terms of nightlife with the current lockout laws, but if you want to trade the cultural hub and night experiences for the beach then come on up!

I'll just put it this way. It really depends on where you go, but in general most of the good looking guys I know in Sydney date down not up or at parity as a rule, except for the guys with the blond long hair pony tail surfer/musician look.

There are two substantial exceptions to this rule:

1) Sometime ugly guys in the right social groups score it big with some of the stunning girls. These are very established private school (usually) networks and tend to be hard to crack into for an outsider - though your work contacts might help.

2) The other exception to this is the international girls that come through - I have seen one or two guys set up casual arrangements with girls above their SMV, but these were met at places like Scary Canary and Side Bar (the backpacker hubs) and you won't be the only guy hitting these locations looking for something better than the domestic offerings.

On top of this I have yet to meet a sydney guy who thinks it is easier to get with quality women here than in other major cities around the world. This may be in relation to my own attitude rather than objective circumstance but I am convinced this is one of the harder places to find girls at or above your SMV for sex or a relationship. I know a male stripper from Melbourne who is exceptionally successful with women. He does okay in Sydney when he is here but he does better in Melbourne.

In Greece right now and plenty of Aussies as well as other nationalities.

I had forgotten how "big" Anglo-Aussie girls are. Even the ones who are not necessarily "fat" have broad shoulders, milk carton bodies and tall, which is probably worse than being fat because at least if you are fat you can change that but nothing you can do about having mannish dimensions.

Also a reminder why the Meditteranean Aussies are the hottest, a very decent gene pool on the female side.

Finally, my assertion that Aussie men date down (something that has become just a faint memory after 3 years out the country) has been reconfirmed with a huge amount of fresh evidence. The men are top of the international looks table and the women near bottom, such a horrible mismatch.
