Seriously? This "Eternal Bachelor" sounds like someone that just left the dorms. This was me in my early 20's, literally.

So aside from ASO which I'll definitely buy some things for, what are other places you buy your gear? What do you guys like as far as jeans?

I tend to prefer more minimalist designs on my jeans so usually I'll opt for APC or Unbranded Denim raw denim. RRL is good too if you like pre-washed jeans.

haha that was hilarious, I thought the first one was actually on point but I stopped reading after doesn't have anything in his fridge
First one makes sense though and the one about not knowing girls names but i've rarely ran into chicks ive been with.
but i think that at a young age, which is what stage im at, its ok to be casual.
what are your thoughts about serious relationships vs casual?
WestIndianArchie 路 2016-09-09 08:57:00 路 #3157
All serious relationships should start casually. She needs to drag you into the relationship.

I think a lot of us meet a hot chick and then want to come correct from the beginning.

"She made me want to act right" - mentality

So the dude who acts right, invests heavily in the relationship and the chick. Fine at first, but she asks for more from you, and all she's giving up is the sex.

That's a huge mistake, in my personal experience.

The hotter the chick is, the more you need *her* to invest for it to work. Cause she can get a hard working slave any day of the year. She needs to be the one that's worried you'll find someone better.

So you keep her at a fuck buddy level until she meets your criteria. Which means you need criteria, ideally criteria where she has to work at it. Pretty face, good body, nice style, great sex, all that should ever do is make her a sex partner. And it goes without saying that she needs to have a compatible personality.

That's all an average dude wants - stuff that she doesn't have to work at. Stuff that is natural about her. She's used to not putting ANY effort into things, certainly not a man. So if a chick doesn't invest, she's not going to value what you have to offer.

So that's your job. You gotta make her put in work into pleasing you.

To be the queen, she gotta treat you like a king.

Cause think about it, what do you bring to her?
- on demand great sex
- conversation
- affection
- someone she can rely on
- protection
- somebody that can fix things for her
- companionship

These are things that she values that require real work on your part.

When you're both 50, you're still throwing out the trash and trapping mice, but her looks have faded, the sex has dried up.

Can she still stimulate your mind? Is she helping you get to the next level in your career/business?

When you look at modern serious relationships, they revolve primarily around what she wants, then what the kids need. And the man is just supposed to provide, like a human atm. That's because the relationship started out and stayed in 100% her taking from you mode.

There's a lot more to be said on serious relationships, but the main thing is

- make her work for it
- figure out your criteria
- She has to invest upfront with more than what average guys want.

Keep in mind that you can always get a chick at least ten years younger than she is. So all the surface stuff you look for is easy to find.

If the chick can cook right out the gate, does she ask you what your favorite meals are and make them for you. How's her dishwashing game?

How does she treat her pets?

When you get into a fight, does she want to turn up?
Social media an issue?

Is her mother all in her business?

How does she make decisions?

There's a whole lot a player has to consider when a chick moves up the ranks.

The two most profound things I've learned about game this year.

1) If she's bad, leave her. Don't wait.
2) a bad chick told me her outlook on life, " I just want to show up and look pretty"

#1 is obvious, but guys can't/don't do it

#2 is a problem because all this chick is thinking about is herself. She's not going to stay with anything until she invests, and she has no plans to.

So with cuffing season right around the corner, you gotta cut the bad chicks, and make the good ones invest.

Well said WIA. I've learned a few of those lessons the hard way over the years.
I've been in an ongoing LTR that has outlived its life expectancy. As of late, I've been working the "side piece" game. I've been brutally honest & up front with women about my relationship and living situation and how I'm just looking for friends. I have not had a single chick fall back because I'm living with my g/f. Then again, I carefully screen for the open-minded types. However, Bishes are ruthless these days!
WestIndianArchie 路 2016-09-09 11:11:00 路 #3159
Haha DB.

And these LTR insights can only come from getting burned, lol

@Archie - man o man, that is some real talk right there.

The girl has to work for you or at least meet you half way.

That is some mature thinking.

Bravo!

On rvf I'm wise, everywhere else I'm bitter lol.

There are some posts on here that I haven't read fully, like divorced guy post and the over 40 post - I'm sure there are lessons there

WIA
DimeBait 路 2016-09-09 13:45:00 路 #3162
The over 40 thread is cool for the most part, but increasingly leans toward banging late teens and earlier twenties chicks. Though I love them bodies, I have no desire to invest the requisite energy for a immature lay.
I think all men should thoroughly read through the divorced thread before ever thinking about tying the knot, lol.
MY DETROIT PLAYAS 路 2016-09-09 14:57:00 路 #3163
I like to contribute to the Divorced thread occasionally and I have noticed the some of the same things.

If you read it long enough a pattern develops throughout the various posts; boy meets girl, girl is submissive, cooperative and agreeable that is until shes not. Despite boy's best efforts he cannot right the ship. After a while you have to wonder where is the woman's effort? Where does her responsiblitiy to the family unit lie? Why isn't she tugging just as hard on the rope to make sure the relationship lasts? There are no neutral grounds in a relationship.

Shared cooperation and responsibility is a necessary element in all human interactions whether it be between friends, business partners and especially in a marriage. A person not fully invested may as well be on that other side of the rope pulling the opposite direction because in essense she is.

I know thats right! It took me every bit of 10 years to financially recover from my divorce. My LTR has been harping on marriage lately, but shit, we barely making it as bf/gf and I already made the mistake of thinking marriage will fix a dysfunctional r/s.

There is simply no point in ever getting married again. Unless, of course, she's got some serious paper and I need a legal interest into her families dynasty, lol
coverdoc 路 2016-09-09 15:16:00 路 #3166
So do you guys advise us younger successful players to never get married? One well off older brother told me that no successful black man should consider marriage under 40.

MY DETROIT PLAYAS 路 2016-09-09 15:22:00 路 #3167
No younger than 35-40

Hopefully you would have had the chance to
-Mature internally and within your chosen field of work
-Sampled enough women/LTR'S/mini-LTR'S/ONS/SDL to know the virtues and quality of a suitable partner for your lifestyle
-Learned LTR management (overlooked skill)
-Traveled
-Sow your oats

*Important to note, the type woman that's right for you may not be right for the next man and vice versa. The right chick isn't a one size fits all deal, she's customized

I would agree. The only drawback is having kids at a later age. Alternatively, however, having kids when you're more established with more resources makes things a lot easier.
I would also advise to get as much pussy as you can before getting married. Personally, I've had enough fun to last three lifetimes and pussy no longer drives my will to live, lol. Now, for me, it's all about making money. Pussy is a byproduct.

From what I have seen in my family as well as others, the kids who parents were married and had them at a later age (35+) usually had parents that were still married, the kids were well rounded and educated, and less likely to get in trouble. I am not saying this is true for every marriage, but just the ones I have personally witnessed.

I'm 31 right now, no kids, but in no rush whatsoever. There are several things I want to do before settling down (master the guitar, get competent at golf, live internationally, obtain my Masters in Accounting, etc). The hobbies above are what I hopefully want to pass down to a future child of mine. I grew up getting into those things because of my friends, but never had family who could teach me those things. I hear from women a lot (and these are almost always single moms) that people who have to be 'ready' to have kids usually never have them. But I do not want to subject my children to the inadequacies I had growing up (absentee father, having to develop masculinity from trial and error, etc.) and would rather die childless than have one that I cannot properly take care of.

From my perspective, the chick I marry will be the chick I knock up.

So if the marriage breaks down and there are kids involved, those kids are gonna get child support no matter what.

That's always going to be expensive no matter what you do.

http://www.alllaw.com/calculators/childsupport/maryland - play with this calculator to see what the #'s look like for you.

Unless I knock up a chick making 2 million, child support would make a significant dent in my economic life.

In no uncertain terms, having kids is what will fuck me up.

So staying out of a marriage contract is really about avoiding spousal support. Which is basically insult to injury.

Now a lot of these RVF dudes advocate marrying these chicks who haven't gone to school and want them to be stay at home moms. And you need to avoid the so-called lawyer cunts.

When Olga divorces PUTINWARRIOR2013, she has no education to fall back on and was at home with the kids. PW2013 is going to get RAPED by the court - because how does he expect her to earn a living when she spent the last 6 years taking care of kids and not in the workforce?

The lawyer and the stay-at-home mom are both watching Oprah and reading Eat, Pray, Love. SAHM is still on Instagram and Facebook. She's still making new "friends" online.

The system is basically rigged.

Even when the law wasn't so lopsided, or in less feminist countries - women have known how to put the screws to you for thousands of years. They were born red pill, always looking out for #1.

That might sound depressing - but it's the objective truth.

Marriage is a bad economic deal
Kids are a bad economic deal (though there are non-economic benefits)
These chicks want more and more and more

But that's life. You're not guaranteed a happy ending.

Blue pill guys and squares just go into these things blindly.

Arguably they have it worse or arguably they have it better.

Wifing up a woman who's got nothing going for her is a fool's folly. Whether in the West or otherwise.

If you choose to marry, then look for a woman who's motivated and has income creating capacity. Or is already paid well and has easily transferable skills. Essentially, she needs to be bringing in her portion of the bacon.

Worse comes to worst you'll get divorced and both walk away with 50% of assets you both invested equally in. The Betty Draper stay at home trophy wife will take 50% of assets she contributed nothing towards!

At best you'll both live a good lifestyle with dual high incomes, in a nice gated community, or in a thrifty ethnic neighbourhood where you'll save wads of cash for travelling. If you decide to have kids, you'll have more than enough to invest in for a live in nanny, or based on your state or province's immigration law bring one from 'back home' to look after the young ones for a few years until she gets her green card. You'll still come out on top financially as long as you're both working steadily.

Make sure you're constantly improving your skills, and make sure she does the same. Stay on top of the job market. Move as necessary. And if it all falls apart, you might lose the kids but you won't get as badly financially burned as if you would if you married Betty Draper.

Don't get married or nut in her until you're financially secure. Expect the same from her. Ideally don't get married, keep it common law. That's a personal preference but you'll save yourself up to $50k for travelling or nanny costs down the line.

I work in an industry where traditional men marry traditional women. Now there's a recession, and said traditional men are losing their Betty Drapers faster than Mike Tyson knocked out opponents in his prime. My resolve to not fuck with deadbeat baby making pretty birds has strengthened more than ever.

When it's all said and done it's up to you though.

Man, young cats bustin inside the first pretty redbone they get into with the hopes of perpetual access has been the achilles hill of brothers throughout history, lol. I learned that lesson myself.
Like the wise men aforementioned, do NOT bust inside or get married until you can say with impunity, "if I died today, I'd be satisfied with my life!"
