The opposite of love is not hate - but indifference.

One of the few situations I can imagine it happening is in the context of her trying to spite an ex she feels has badly wronged her.

It's usually no huge surprise when a girl dumps/gets dumped by a guy runs off and bangs another where it was no secret that she already had her eye on him.

It's more of a shock when she runs off and bangs the guy she was always complaining about. A bigger hit to the first guy's ego. Some girls are fucked-up like that.

On OKCupid there's a "match" question specifically about this: "Would you have sex with someone you hated?" I sometimes browse the questions (naturally I look at the 'sex' questions of girls I feel are good leads) and while most girls will pass on that one, I recall a sizable fraction, perhaps 10%, give it an affirmative. So add another 10 percentage points or so to account for self-censoring.

The thing I remember about some of the girls who answered in the affirmative is that they came off in their profile verbage as being pretty "high conflict", or as they would hamster-spin it, "I have a strong personality/people are intimidated by me."

Yes. Fairly common occurrence.

Sure I've mentioned these before

1) Approached the same chick three times in three weeks. On appearance she hated me. But her reactions were so comical to me, that I kept pushing buttons. Self amusement I guess.

When i had her in bed, I asked her why she didn't like me.

"You looked like trouble" ( I.e. I was attracted, but didn't want to be easy)

2) A chick that was in a crowd of people. I said something outlandish to her about our future family. The crowd reacted, she blushed. I'd engage her later on the humble, and we exchanged information. Text game, ended up just going straight over to her place.

In bed, "so when did you know..??

Her - unbeknownst to me -

"I hated you. I hated seeing you. I thought you were an asshole. "

That was not my read of the situation at all. Opened my eyes. My self image was that I'm either invisible, tolerated, or loved. But never hated.

You don't even know me to hate me.

At that time, had I known that, that would have been a red light. Now that's a green light.

Me - So what changed?

Her - "I dunno. I think when you got me like that something changed." (Referring to me putting her on the spot)

Basic game lesson, change moods and you change minds.

The more subtle lesson, is that your own powers of observation don't really tell you anything until you interact. When in doubt, approach. Hard thing to do, until it's easy

Eh I've been called asshole before and after I've banged a girl.

I had one girl who thought I hated her for the longest time.

When I got friend zoned severely once (this is how I got into Red Pill / neomasculinity) I made a point of getting the girl to hate me by being a jerk and obnoxiously sexual. Never got her to bang me, but I did get her to hate me. I hope it made her slightly wet.
