I have friends in Europe and I made the suggestion to go on a quick trip for the weekend to another country nearby for the holidays.

The wife replied on social media yes, her and her women coworkers were all going for a weekend and she said I should come too.

OP,

You should only go on a trip under the following conditions:

1. Only you and the woman are going. No one else. The moment it becomes a horde of cackling females you will become a tool in one way or another (as the other posters have explained in detail). Her best friend is going to meet you guys there? No. You are out.

2. You and she will share a room that has one bed (king or queen sized). Not two separate beds.

3. She will be financing a decent portion of the trip (she has to have something invested in this).

4a. The place is either remote, i.e. where there are very few people. So if she turns into a cunt all of a sudden, you have the option of shutting down with her, pursuing your own stuff (reading books etc.) and possibly moving into a separate room in the hotel.

4b. The place has lots of other women. Again, if the cunt factor is turned up, you leave the room and start gaming other women.

She will, most likely, already have analyzed 4a and 4b and will adjust her behavior accordingly.

In short, maintain the frame at all times. When you let her control things, bad things will probably follow.

My bet is that she is probably trying to set you up with one of her past her expiration date friends. Eh, I'm not as cynical as some of the other posters here. Where in particular are they headed? If they're setting up the logistics and maybe even footing part of the bill, what do I have to lose. I haven't been to Europe in ages, I'd probably be more interested in exploring the different environment than thinking about getting laid on such a short trip.

I'd tag along and just hit up younger chicks on Tinder from my hotel room if these older broads are lame. It might be a good research opportunity...it's just a couple days. It's not like it's some lifetime commitment.

I "liked" some of the posts in this thread because I thought they were funny, but they're also the reason why many forum participants are likely to be nervous about asking for advice in this forum. To be fair, it's difficult for the OP's in situations like this to convey all the history and nuance of the situation so the regulars here can give some apropos advice. I was put in a similar situation.

I am in Poland.
