A 26-year-old 9 of my acquaintance, in the 99th percentile in hotness of girls I know, is about to marry a beta bux, rather than the alpha-type I would have expected.

This is the perfect example of a dude who has spent too long reading red pill blogs.

To support what others have expressed life does not always fit into neat categories. With the said, the man you described is probably more Alpha than you realize. Tall, handsome, with a good job, and has a 9 who treats him well.....sounds like he is doing well for himself. Instead of honing in on his flaws, there is probably a lot you can learn from him.
