I don't mind the back and forth commenting, either. I think that a great purpose of this forum is for guys to be able to comment about various perspectives and experiences and to hopefully learn from each other about possible ways to improve their own approaches.

Are you really of the belief that RVF guys need to witness the chick's perspective, and that was the purpose of your posting the video?

Yep completely agree as well. Opinions are good. We all have seen things through our own eyes and experiences. I would advise everyone to be analytical and formulate their own opinions based on actions and outcomes rather than ego and claims.

I did think it was interesting when I saw the vid. So much of the internet is laced up with internet marketers and PUA trying to sell shit and a lot of interactions are staged and created for views. I don't think this video is fantastic, however I thought it was interesting seeing it from the girls end. Because girls are never like guys who tape them trying to pick them up. It seems like it is real and raw.

I always find it interesting to see raw footage in rare circumstances you can't witness everyday. Like an approach from a girls perspective and how her reaction is. Although I believe her reaction may be biased.

I think he should have ditched the 'whole watch my bag' thing. Seems like he read a post about compliance on some PUA blog and thought that'd be enough to seal the deal. Struck me as very artificial. In daygame I think less is more. And there was no reason for him to go for a field goal so early in the interaction; he still had a few downs to spare, unless he had to go (which I doubt). Like why go for the number or date when the girl is right there? I know why guys do this and I still make this mistake from time to time but it's a bad habit.

That being said he's gaming a girl in a language he obviously hasn't mastered in a culture he may not be too familiar with so he has his work cut out for him. Plus in the end sometimes you can say and do everything right and still not get the girl. *shrug* At least he tried.

The watch my bag thing was stupid... but I don't think it killed him. I think he asked her out WAY too fast without building it up first.

It's a bad approach. He led with asking her name, and other generic questions as opposed to trying to engage her. He scared the cat.

Also, those look like Teva sandals, which are totally uncool.

I can't see anything that was good about this approach, other than him having the balls to do it. He didn't make the interaction fun in any way whatsoever. Not a single joke, not a single smartass quip, not a single thing said that was the slightest bit creative or interesting... just some generic questions asked in low energy monotone. Even without the camera showing their faces, you can tell neither of them cracked a genuine smile throughout the entire interaction. I've never seen an approach like this this work.

I did this a couple of times at a big famous beach before, did it first time by "mistake" since i really needed someone to watch my bag. Realized it was such a easy way to open and so when I went to the beach alone i looked for a solo girl and asked her to watch my bag, then started a conversation when i got back from swimming. Did it maybe 5 times and got one date out of it, BY FAR the hottest girl i ever got out on a date. Couldn't handle being out with such a hot girl and messed it up.
This was early 2015 and during 2014 and beginning of 2015 i had done probably 600-1000 daygame approaches so i would like to think i was a couple of levels better than the one in the clip.

I think the rest of the interaction kind of killed him and the fact that he had set a bad impression because the girl had no clue or context for why she was watching his bag, and he did not attempt to clarify that and he made matters worth with his various other lamenesses, already mentioned.

German's are very direct. I own an international business and have many satisfied German customers but I have never once heard them tell a joke or use humor or sarcasm. They get to the point right away. This guy was just unaware of the cultural differences but I'm willing to bet this how every German guy approaches within Germany.
