Brothers,

I see TONS of questions on here regarding the Tinder app. I understand there is a tinder app post, however, I feel that this information is vitally important to all of us. As most of us may not look into the tinder posting, this will provide vital information.

I met a guy in Houston a few weeks ago who happens to be a developer for Tinder. Great fucking guy. Major pimp. He let me in on SEVERAL secrets. I have always knew that if you make a new account, you'll get more matches, but WHY?

I asked him and his response was simple: "You are ranked." What? Ranked? Yes, you are RANKED by how hot or ugly you are, based on your match percentage.

I have asked for his advice, and he agrees 100% on the below as one of the developers. Tinder is ALGORITHMIC. Meaning, it uses a specific set of inputs to give a desired response. Seems simple, however, they have edited the sequence so that if you swipe right on tons of sloots, it will stop matching you with sluts. By using this method, I get tons of play from tinder.

1. Have random e-mail addresses with gmail or whatever. Use this with a new Facebook account that is a throwaway.
2. Use the throw away e-mail only ONCE for the week then use another one.
3. KEY - DELETE the throw away Facebook!
4. Make another tinder account on day 7.
5. Fuck sloots.

Doing this will ensure that you will stay fresh on all the matches and to tinder. The app wants you to get Tinder Plus, so, the way the algorithm works is that it will match you with tons of sloots at first to get you hooked into it but then will slow off it the system can tell you are a chronic right swiper. Tinder also works well when you change locations for the following reason I described above. When you go to a new location, it "resets" the algorithm because you moved locations, so it says, "oh, look, a new person who we can get to buy plus."

Tinder PLUS- I HIGHLY Advise this feature. It's a little expensive, yes. But does it work? YES. Tons of pussy from this as you can get UNLIMITED swipes. Using this method, I've found that you can change your tinder account every two weeks and still have a good turnout. NEVER keep it more than 2 weeks to a month, it's a fucking waste. After 2 weeks with tinder plus, following the steps above.

Failure to do the following procedure will result in less than optimal matches and could potentially even cause you to have a "Searching for matches" message that wont go away. This IS possible in a small town, however, in any of the major cities, it's not going to happen.

This is somewhat true.. Tinder tracks users by the verified phone number, not email addresses.

I bought Tinder Plus and within the first few days did receive a good number of matches, but they have since slowed up. Maybe 2 a day and I am in NYC. In the past, I could get upwards of 20-50 in a day.

I dont think we will ever *completely* understand the algorithm.

So you suggest geting Tinder Plus and just resetting your account every two weeks?

Do you mean deleting and reinstalling it or deleting the facebook altogether? If so you buy Tinder plus month to month?

Women don't swipe as often as they used to because it costs them money for unlimited swipes.

The collapse in our matching has more to do with the monetising of tinder. If a woman has 50 men who like her in her stack and only a limited amount of free swipes, then most men will not be seen by her.

Does this mean it does not matter if you have a new fb account with burner email address? Should we keep cycling, or not?

Wow...Tinder is more interested in making money than making matches...so basically that means
if you rely on Tinder...your dating life is being being controlled by a computer algorithm.

This has to be a huge reason why there are weeks where you go "cold"

I had a main Tinder account that I would always delete and remake. Would use auto liker, GPS spoof, etc. Eventually I never got matches. and I would remake it and the same result would always happen.

Made a new tinder on a new FB and used a new phone number to verify and suddenly Im getting matches.

To battle spammers, its a much stronger defense to tag accounts using the phone number that verifies them because any spammer can get access to a new email, but getting access to a new mobile phone number is more of a challenge.

For me I usually get matches, maybe i do swipe left like 70% of the times. But I do realize you will get more matches if you change radius frequently and if you are opening the app in different parts of town.

The reason that the sites have so many habitual serial daters is because they're specifically crafted to appeal to that type of woman. The lures are self-sustaining.

I don't think any man's dating life in a Western society is completely free of control, unless you're solely relying on day game or something for every bit of it. Social circle, nightlife, online, or whatever...someone somewhere is framing the interactions and who you're eventually going to meet, whether it's an algorithm developed in an office in Silicon Valley, a nightclub owner, a church minister, or your mom and dad. It is in women's interests for it to be so.

Complete lack of surprise. OK Cupid admitted ranking by attractiveness years ago. The difference is that on OKC you had other ways to find girls besides the match algo. On tinder, it's the ONLY way.

You were anyway, regardless of the details. What you were thinking is "match me with girls between x and y years old and within 20 miles". What an engineer is going to consider:
1) Whether she's interested in guys your age.
2) Facebook friends / interests - should we match better because we share 3 friends, or we're both liked Dunkin' Donuts facebook page?
3) Does recent usage count? Seems like I'd put the most recently active users first. Or you could go by the account created the longest time ago... or you'd have to apply randomization.

That's just off the top of my head. Then you realize guys swipe right on everyone they see and then filter their matches. So you limit right swipes, which is another algo change, because if you run out of swipes and she's not in range, or she's met some other guy and isn't interested in matching anymore... by the time you get back swipes, that's the same as never being matched with her.

None of these revelations surprise me. I'm a computer programmer, so I wonder about this stuff whenever I use the app. If I wanted to discourage autoswipers, I'd ban accounts and tie it to the FB login so you'd need a new FB account to get around that ban. PoF was permabanning people by email AND IP address years ago.

Agree 100% with that sentiment. Girls don't card you before you get a chance to drop an opener.

The advantage of tinder is that you can match with women you'd never otherwise meet, if you don't cross paths normally. Also, you get to control your image a bit, which is why good pictures are critical. Especially if they're giving you better matches based on your attractiveness.

I recently traveled to another city far from my home, had great success with Tinder/Tantan. Then came back from the trip, my matches exploded.

I do believe in this, especially if you can reset your position regularly it will reset and put your info on the top of the stack more often. I have girls selecting me left and right.

:-) I was being a little sarcastic...It's definitely true that a lot of your dating life
is affected by forces you don't always control...even if you met 100 women a day,
you'd still have genetics that would play a factor on both sides...lol which itself
is another kind of algorithm...

It's interesting though that you can spend all that time on Tinder and not even get
in front of the girls you want. That's not an algorithm, that is a wake up call...

Yes. I do cycle. It helps to have a burner phone for this reason. Get an old iPhone on Amazon. Like a 5c for pretty cheap and use it on a prepaid network for solely that purpose. It works wonders.

Every time you delete your account and remake it you get a flood of matches the first day or two. Same if you are new to the area. I don't know the mile threshold but you have to move to a location quite a few miles away. This has always worked like this.

I suppose this thread could be informative for newbies, but none of this information is a leak.

The new matches when you change location has been described anecdotally in pretty much every Tinder discussion in most forums (misc, Reddit, etc.)

A couple other corrections to your original post:

1. You don't need a new Facebook account every time you want to reset. All you need to do is delete your account, then go into your Facebook and delete Tinder from the App authorizations. The next time you authorize to Tinder, it will think you have a brand new account. I have done this for the past 12 weeks in a row and have never seen my match amounts go down.

2. I use an autoswiper that counts the numbers, and Tinder Plus does not give you unlimited swipes. Even with Plus, your swipe amounts are limited depending on what area you're in (for me, it's about 10,000 the first time I reset, and about 200 a day for the rest of the week). My swipes per 12 hour period without plus are about 280.

Kid Twist, in order to spoof GPS you can use Tinder on BlueStacks if you have Windows. GPS spoofing on your phone no longer works in the most recent updates.

If you buy tinder plus on android, then reset your tinder after the few weeks of "high", be careful about your linked google play account. Indeed, they will see you already bought tinder plus, and your matches will suck even if you did all the steps OP described. So :

- with your burner phone, also change frequently your google play address.


Also, this is a bit paranoid, but it might be useful to :

- change your pics every time you reset your tinder, or at least add some color filters to change the encoding of the pictures
