But in my experience the beta male orbiters are much worse. I had this girl who was using this guy as her own personal taxi. He'd drop her off at my place (or wherever she wanted to go) and then pick her up afterwards. This went on for months. One day she told me he got fed up and threatened to harm me, then harm himself, then went on a long rant about how he was in love with her and "what does she see in me?" and whatnot. She broke off the "friendship" after that.

Those orbiters can get dangerous, especially when the beta rage comes out.

You raise a decent question, yet are you basing your own conclusion on one set of incidents involving one male cockblocker? I am not even sure if I would call it a cockblocker if he is just competing for the same girl, but in the way you describe the situation, it seems like it would fit the cockblocking definition (if there is really such a thing?)

My own cockblock experiences seem to be quite varied, but still in my reflection they seem to be more common with girls rather than guys, and when they are with guys, I am frequently unclear about the relationship that the guy has with the girl, so frequently, I am not sure about how to read the situation.

Cockblock experiences can be so varied, and also at differing levels of intensity, so I could not say that men cockblockers are worse than women, because the women situation seems to happen a lot more frequently with me, at least in my experiences, and the guys tend to back off, except of course if they seem to be competing for the same girl, and then it is a matter of measuring if the guy has the greater "in", and if he does, then I will back off, (call me a puss.. hahahaha).

The orbiter you can box out by making the target want you. If she puts her hands on you, basically choosing you, he's out. There are so many ways to disarm the beta.

If her fat friends see her body language change from neutral to hot, or neutral to annoyed - They will swoop in and physically yank the chick away from you before you can say anything.

If a dude puts his hands on you, you both know it could turn into a fight. Most orbiters don't have the balls to step up. He'll only white knight if you get violent with the chick.

Interestingly, I've personally never had a hard time with a gay friend of the girl. They've actually even helped me in the past. And since they're socially savvy like you mentioned, they can probably tell that I have a good vibe and would likely please the girl I'm trying to meet.

White knight friends on the other hand while they might not immediately intervene, will leer at you constantly and the second you look away or say hi to a buddy who came by they will pull the girl away for any reason (let's go outside for a smoke, get a drink).

Women by far, because they think they are invincible. Men have tried cockblocking me before, tot he point they were physically pulling me away. All i have to do with them is whip around and look them dead in the eyes and they freak out and back off. Im sure my stature has something to do with it but women cock blocks have been relatively easy to disarm. Personally I use a laser focus when I approach multiple women--like some rom-com "OMG I've finally met the love of my life I have to get to know you" eye contact/isolation. Ill meet all the other girls out of being "nice" but I immediately go back into my bubble with the girl. It's interesting because I can feel the other girl eyes on me like "what the fuck is going on here" its like they don't know to fight or fly so they go with the "freeze up" option.

If I get my target laughing and touching me its a wrap for the cockblocks. I almost always throw out a "your friends don't like me" to get her to say something that sides with me; I usually close with a number in this case and a comment/joke about her jealous friends.

Pretty sure my approach helps sell the mystique: eye contact the whole walk over; running people over and pushing them out the way with james-bond-esk smoothness while on a b-line to her. I'm trying to create our disney bubble before i even get in her immediate area.
