It's easy to dream.

I often think about this too, but for reality tv. I know it's been attempted before, but usually producers step in or have men join the women's faction. I would love to see a show like 'The Colony' where they are divided by gender with no help or intervention at all. The goal is to make shelter, gather food and water, establish security/protection, and survive.

There are obstacles of course thrown in like wandering bands of gangs or poor quality water, it is tv after all. But it always comes down to men and women needing to work together. Women have a harder time doing the heavy lifting and the fighting. If a gang came to come through and take the women's supplies they could equally be taken by force for the gang. Look at WW2, the women that turned backs on their own countrymen and covorted with the Nazis. Women will do whatever they need to go secure their well being. Unfortunately my tv show idea is good in theory and as a social experiment, but I'm afraid it would be predictable.

I passed a girl on the street in Bethesda, MD about 2 months ago wearing a shirt that said this. Didn't think anything of it at the time.

I'm glad I didn't ask her/xer/whathefuckever to help me find the pet shop. I'd probably be in jail for "conversational rape" now.

I'm half-serious. I almost want to start a movement forcing a historical event of what the modern world looks like when men just check out for 1-2 weeks.

Of course, I bet the women would just go vacation at the same time to avoid the reality.

Most definitely. I do this too.

It's a win-win for me because my fees are very subjective for the type of work I do. When I quote women the high(er) rates they either pay them because they don't know any better, or I end up sending them somewhere else when they show their true colors by haggling with me way more than I consider to be reasonable.

Most of my male clients seem to have way more respect for both my time and the value I provide for them, while the majority of problem clients tend to be nit-picky women who try to nickle and dime me at every opportunity. One of my favorite things to do is letting the problem children know that my rates will be going up the following year, and watching/listening to them huff and puff and ultimately fuck the hell off

Reverse it, and it would make a great movie. Have a group of harridans in a small town start a discussion about going on strike. The local Priest catches wind of it, and he pulls some of the good matriarchs in, and encourages them to go along with it.

At first it's chaos without the women helping out around the homes - but eventually the men settle into different roles, they way they would on an oil rig. Things are messier, but far more peaceful. Even the deadbeat - now that his wife isn't nagging him - becomes a productive member of society.

The women react with horror at what they've done, effectively freeing the men from marriage shackles - and come back to them in tears, and romantic make-up sex.

Now if only I could find a Church that wasn't so cucked that it would shy away from this movie...
