Here are some snippets. Echoes a lot of the sentiments read in various places on the forum.

Yes, well I did just pick the best google image I could find... and she's really just regurgitating Andrew Bolt, who is overall a bit of a dick, but this could help shove Australian media reporting in the direction I was hoping for..

I didn't think I would hear this from an Australian celebrity on morning television. I think she's absolutely correct to start this discussion and it needed to be someone like her to do so.

This is a trending topic on facebook, and all the comments underneath the main articles are against her. Especially under the Guardian one (no surprises!). Australians seem completely regressive-left. There's also the odd comment from non-Australian Brits etc. Looking at their profiles it seems to be 99.9% teenage male self-flagellators - who no doubt believe in white privilege etc.

Interestingly, there is a tide shifting in UK/Europe though and the comments on our news stories are starting to reflect that. I suppose when terrorism is constantly on your doorstep, you can't help but reassess your worldview, even if you are a silly little Utopian.

Australia is somewhat captive to the Melbourne/Sydney/Canberra demographic which is your usual hodge-podge of immigrants, university deadbeats, government troughers, corporate conformers and tenderfooted snowflakes.

Besides, this is the kind of big statement that lefties come at in a screaming concerted rage, whereas if you take a look at day-to-day feeds in Twitter/Facebook/etc and comments sections at online papers then you tend to see a somewhat more balanced pool of opinions, especially if you're willing to wait the extra two hours for the Western Australians to chime in.

The fact that she even has to make a statement regarding her comments shows the fascist society we live in… If the majority don't like your opinion, you need a heartfelt qualification on why you have said it. Pathetic.

I've been expecting and waiting (too long) for more and more typical women to jump on the ban-Muslims train. As we all know they are emotive thinkers and with each passing terror attack and the graphic, bloody images that accompany them they just have to be feeling fearful.
The female soft-spot for immigration has often been blamed on their maternal instincts, this is very much a double-edged sword though as seeing dead kids lying in the streets shivs them right in the ovaries and propels them towards the other side.


I've been bashing my head against a wall trying to figure out how that one picture of a dead Syrian kid on the beach was the catalyst for opening the gates to migrants but the pictures of hundreds dead on their own streets isn't causing them to shut the gates.

The hamster has been juicing and that bastard is strong, in this case however Sonia's ovaries put a beat down on it.

They did though, she was directly quoting controversial shock-jock Andrew Bolt.
She doesn't think anything, she's a post wall (still WB tho) former dancing show co-host, but people take notice when she says it... and if my fb feed is anything to go by it's about 80% positive.

I note that the immigration minister amongst others has come out saying she's wrong, but hasn't offered any solutions.


Waleed Aly came out and used sophistry to accuse Kruger of being a bigot and fearful, attacking her arguement while pretending that he wasn't.


The vast majority of comments at The Australian website seem to be pro-Kruger.

Most MSM seems to using the typical progressive 'Motte and Bailey' defense of signalling that they aren't surpressing people's opinions who don't agree with the narrative, even as their attack dogs slam Kruger.

Just another day of progressive media and culture in Australia.
