EDIT: Anyone who has seen trucks ploughing into people would know how it went down. Looking at the damage to the front of the truck it would appear he was going at speed and for some distance. Poor fuckers didn't have a chance.

Agreed, but now they are here and they're not going to leave on their own. It will get ugly eventually. If things get ugly I just hope someone has a time to send a thought to the leftists who made this happen and not just those who perpetrate the terror.

It's a long, straight length of road by the waterfront. Lots and lots of pedestrians would have been there.

The rest of downtown Nice is tight, narrow streets, with most other pedestrian areas sealed off to auto traffic.

Promenade is the main artery for the old town.

Lots of upscale hotels on this strip, tons of upper middle class tourists from all over Europe would have been there...it's the peak of the peak season.
