The Suffering of the Lost Boys
https://illimitablemen.com/2014/05/08/th...lost-boys/

"A boy raised by a beta is not taught social dominance, or how to protect himself physically or mentally. He’s not shown how to attract women, and chances are he will lack basic yet necessary life skills such as self-discipline. Like the boy of the single mother, he is forced to employ the internet as a surrogate for the father he never had."

The effects of broken homes on children (focus on males here) are too numerous to mention.

The author asks: "What happens when, through no fault of his own, said 7-year-old grows into a young 20-year-old who never had the strong paternal figure he needed to become the best version of himself? When due to such poor upbringing, he is clueless in the ways of men, inadequate with women, undisciplined, depression prone and mentally unbalanced? He goes onto his computer, he tells his problems to his therapist, Google, and if the “I’m feeling lucky button” works right, he ends up here"

What has been your experience, either personally by not having had a father, or vicariously with dudes you know that grew up fatherless, regarding their game? Does such an experience automatically and permanently paralyze and "betaize" such men? Or is there hope for redemption? And if so, at what point in their lives are they able to swallow the red pill? Could the increase of "the lost boys" be one of the main reasons why fora like this exist?

Thoughts?

RE: The Suffering of the Lost Boys
Definitely was a lost boy, however I had a relative who was a father figure in the background.

I didn't know how to talk to girls, came from a muslim background, was pretty much an introvert, dorky, but still managed to lose my virginity at 15 1/2.

The top bold part was me, I didn't know what it really meant to be a man beyond going to college, getting a job, and getting laid. There's so much more to it than that.

When I was 14 I embarrassingly kept a blog online about my issues. Thankfully I deleted most of it.

I was sent a ROK article and ended up here. If that's the definition of lucky, I hit the lotto finding RVF. It still pays out.

Now from time to time I vent on here, but I always give back, my writing about myself feature more goals and self improvement.

To answer your question, NO it doesn't paralyze there IS redemption.

I didn't swallow the red pill until my middle twenties. Fortunately some of my instincts before then were red pill and I trusted my gut.

Some of these lost boys found game, found support, found other like minded boys, they finally turned the tide and became men.

I thought this was about, 1997, me and my crazy world, "I can't explain this life that I'm living..."

God damned them all, I was told we'd cruise the seas for American gold, we'd fire no guns-shed no tears, now I'm a broken man on a Halifax pier, the last of Barrett's privateers!

RE: The Suffering of the Lost Boys
A majority of boys are raised without a strong, masculine paternal figure.

That is why our mission is so important, to bring back masculinity in the forefront of society,
where it belongs.

Lack of a proper male figure (like a father) is horrible.
Game wise, lifestyle wise....in all aspects, to be honest.

When you are surrounded by women (in my case, Mom and sister), you will know jack fucking shit about life. How to attract women, open a business etc.

JACK. FUCKING. SHIT!!!

It no wonder why today, you are surrounded by sea of wanna be thugs, male feminists, sexual deviants... . All of these poor souls:

- were raised in single mothers households, without a strong male figure.

- had fathers whose testicles their mother cut off during marriage.

Look at the director of Cuntbusters, for example. That is what single mother household will turn you into.

Look at the profile of you average gangter from a low income area. That is what single mother household will turn you into.

Now, will many of them see the light?

No. Most of them are gone. Their life experience + indoctrination( whether some liberal art shit, or a local gang) did irreparable damage to them. No matter what you do, you can't save them.

They will hate you, and they will try their best to bring you down, instead of listening to you.

If they are very lucky (leaning about the manosphere) and/or very intelligent (I figured at a young age that women are just too much different that men, by observing behavioral patterns of men and women, for example), they might be saved. But, that is a journey they must undertake alone. I did, and that is why I am writing here.

This. I eventually learned the hard way the lack of respect I gained from my own flesh and blood for not being raised to have a spine. Being the eldest guy in a single mother household, I can confirm the very act of earning respect from flesh and blood became unnecessarily hard from such relatives.

Also, as for game, I now notice how some girls that previously raised bitch shields on me are NOW the ones chasing me. I have zero tolerances for such shields, to the point I much rather give them boxes of raisins, to make a point.

It's a huge emotional drain for me to be in a single mother household, especially when your own mother is using you as a substitute for a proper (read: mentally and emotionally stable) husband that passes shit tests.

RE: The Suffering of the Lost Boys
And the statistics also show that "Lost boys" don't fare well in life:

Children from broken homes account for:

70 percent of those in juvenile detention.
57 percent of all prison inmates.
63 percent of teen suicides.
71 percent of teen pregnancies.
90 percent of homeless juveniles and runaways.
71 percent of high school dropouts.
75 percent of all drug users.
85 percent of behavioural disorders.

Source: http://www.richmond.com/news/local/hanov...0f31a.html

I tend to agree with you Irenicus. The damage wrought by irresponsible parents on unsuspecting kids during a very important developmental stage is unlikely to be undone. Only a very small, lucky number are able to disentangle themselves from the emotional and financial mess they eventually find themselves in as adults. Its like a dark cloud that hangs overhead throughout the course of a person's life.

And the real tragedy, taking into account the statistics above, is that the vicious cycle continues once such children beget children of their own, having not learned a single positive thing about the importance of a well balanced household from their parents.
