Will Comey have the opportunity to resign before the Clintons go Vince Foster on him? In that hearing, he was looking like someone who hasn't had a lot of sleep the past couple of nights.

Asking for a timeline is a bit rough, even with Sam's heightened predictive abilities. A LOT of people thought that the international banks wouldn't last past 2012 and yet here we are.

But the signs are around. I picked up on this story last year.

http://www.thenewamerican.com/economy/ec...al-reserve

http://gunwars.news21.com/2014/eight-sta...gulations/

http://blog.tenthamendmentcenter.com/201...n-control/

Take a look at an American electoral map and you'll see the divide between the flyover states and the east/west coast. I don't think there will be a declaration of war. You'll simply see more and more of these stories popping up. A growing rift between the application of state and federal law will grow until some idiot from up on high will start trying to wrest control back and trigger some sort of shitstorm.

It's worth remembering that all federal instillations other than military bases essentially exist on the goodwill of the states that host them. Toss concrete barricades around an FBI branch building, cut off the power and you could force a Fort Sumter event quite easily.

Comey's testimony here borders on delusional. If there is one thing that can be counted on it is rivalry between the 3 branches of government.

And Henry/Hank Paulson endorsed Hillary

http://www.politico.com/story/2016/06/he...ing-224793

That guy is the poster child for Wall Street corruption. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Paulson To me, thats worse than a KKK endorsement.

TL;DR - he's the goldman sachs chair that was also the secretary of the treasury during the 2008 bailout/to big to fail crisis.

The thing with doomsaying is you can't give an end date or you look pretty bad when it passes and basically nothing changes.

The older you get (I'm getting towards 70) the less seriously you take catastrophic predictions.

The rich like things very much like they are right now.

just like they did during the MAD days of nuclear tension.

The catastrophe that is far more likely than any other is that you get old, sick , die, and disappear forever.

Doesn't mean you can't get involved in politics, but real change happens in maybe 50 year increments.

Wtf?

FBI director says he's no longer a registered Republican

Quote:Even though he has been a registered Republican for most of his adult life, FBI Director James Comey testified Thursday that he is no longer a registered member of the GOP.

"Although our politics are different — I gather you're a Republican — that correct?" Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-Va.) asked Comey in prefacing his remarks.
Comey responded, "I have been a registered Republican for most of my adult life, not registered any longer."

The FBI director, who previously served as deputy attorney general in George W. Bush's administration before President Barack Obama appointed him to his current position, donated to the presidential campaigns of John McCain in 2008 and Mitt Romney in 2012.

Comey just nutted into the system's vagina and got us pregnant with the next generation of degeneracy. Unfortunately Hillary impregnated him. Dodgy

This is latest from Scott Adams, where he says Comey put himself in the firing line in order to "let the people make their own choice for President". Basically, knowing full well the incredulous reactions it would get, Comey spun this in such a way (with the damning press conference and now farcical testimony he must have known he would be forced to give) that he's now delivered a strong dose of poison to the idea of the HAG as President.

Ignore his bit about abortion and the other pandering, the main content is an interesting read.

The FBI, Credibility, and Government

Quote:The primary goal of government is its own credibility.

That notion needs some explaining.

Governments do many things, including building roads, providing social services, defending the homeland, and more. But no matter what the government is trying to accomplish, its macro-responsibility is to maintain its own credibility. Governments without credibility devolve into chaos. Credibility has to be job one.

Consider all the different government systems around the world, and all the different laws they created. The Chinese government is different from the United States government, which is different from Jordan’s government, which is different from Great Britain. But each of those governments is credible to its own people, and that’s the key. The specific laws and the specific forms of government don’t matter too much, so long as the public views its own local system as credible.

The notion of credibility is why my political preferences don’t align with either of the candidates for president. I look for credibility in government, not for my personal agreement with a particular policy.

For example, I think laws regarding abortion are most credible when they are agreeable to the majority of women, no matter what the majority of men think. Imagine an abortion-related law that was acceptable to 90% of men but only 10% of women. It wouldn’t be credible. Nor should it be.

I take this same thinking to how a president should fill Supreme Court openings. For maximum credibility, we should have eight justices instead of nine, equally divided by liberal versus conservative credentials. That way nothing gets through the Supreme Court unless one of the liberals or one of the conservatives switches sides. That’s how you get credibility. Compare that to a 5-4 court that always votes conservative or always votes liberal. With a biased court, every decision will lack credibility with half of the citizens. That’s a problem.

This gets me to FBI Director James Comey’s decision to drop the case against Hillary Clinton for her e-mail security lapses. To the great puzzlement of everyone in America, and around the world, Comey announced two things:

1. Hillary Clinton is 100% guilty of crimes of negligence.

2. The FBI recommends dropping the case.

From a legal standpoint, that’s absurd. And that’s how the media seems to be reacting. The folks who support Clinton are sheepishly relieved and keeping their heads down. But the anti-Clinton people think the government is totally broken and the system is rigged. That’s an enormous credibility problem.

But what was the alternative?

The alternative was the head of the FBI deciding for the people of the United States who would be their next president. A criminal indictment against Clinton probably would have cost her the election.

How credible would a future President Trump be if he won the election by the FBI’s actions instead of the vote of the public? That would be the worst case scenario even if you are a Trump supporter. The public would never accept the result as credible.

That was the choice for FBI Director Comey. He could either do his job by the letter of the law – and personally determine who would be the next president – or he could take a bullet in the chest for the good of the American public.

He took the bullet.

Thanks to Comey, the American voting public will get to decide how much they care about Clinton’s e-mail situation. And that means whoever gets elected president will have enough credibility to govern effectively.

Comey might have saved the country. He sacrificed his reputation and his career to keep the nation’s government credible.

It was the right decision.

Comey is a hero.

Watch this second part of testimony from today to get an idea of why

http://www.c-span.org/video/?412315-101/...ion-part-2

The secretary of state IG was denied their requests to interview Hillary Clinton, or her staff. They want to finish it. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like they are doing a criminal investigation. The most they will come up with is that she violated records requirements and email usage. If she was still a federal employee she would be disciplined or terminated, the end.

One awesome piece comes at about 1hr 20 from another IG. Congressional chair asks "can we see the confidential emails hillary sent". IG replies "no, the agency that owns that information would have to do that" Congressional rep replies "which agency". IG says "I can't tell you"

edit: A minute later, the inspector general for intelligence says that he had to get special clearances to read those emails himself.

Hillary was moving some secret shit.

Most likely she was selling CIA Intel to foreign actors in exchange for Clinton Foundation bribes. Audit the Foundation, cross check it against her emails, and the money trails will appear. When I worked in the financial industry, this was just called basic forensic accounting. The whole Panama Papers proved how these deals go down.

Hillary is arrogant and malicious enough to believe that her will can be superimposed over the people.

Not only will she probably provoke a war with Russia, but she is going to stack the Supreme Court with left-wing ideologues who will declare the Second Amendment unconstitutional. Meanwhile millions of rapefugees will be imported into America as terror attacks and crime increase in frequency and scale. This will be on top of a deteriorating economy and over-bearing police state.

Most gun-owners will refuse to give them up. Police will try and arrest, and they will resist arrest by killing officers. Hillary then calls in the military. Part of the military defects. Civil War 2.

At the end of the testimony for the FBI director someone asked questions about the Clinton foundation and related emails on Hillary's server.

The director responded "I can't comment on any other active investigations" meaning they are are already looking at the clinton foundation...but if it turns out anything like this, there will be no charges.

Or can I fully anticipate it occurring within the next 365 days or so?

Samsaeu's prediction is spot on if Hillary wins.

However, I have the same feeling that I had for Brexit on the next election.

Trump will win the next election. Mark this post.

Jim Comey will go down as an American hero when the history books are written.

He knows exactly what he is doing.

Clinton will not survive the coming firestorm.

Comey has sown the seeds for Hillary's defeat. He knows how bad it all looks and the effects that it will have.

I'm certain most of the FBI are pro-Trump. The ex-secret service agent Gary Byrne mentions in his book 'Crisis of Character' that the FBI hated the Clintons whilst he served. They used the Feds as their personal army and would treat them badly, going above peoples heads and pressuring until they got the results they wanted.
Razor Beast · 2016-07-08 06:40:00 · #1248
Just when Hillary is under heavy fire regarding the FBI decision we get a mass shooting of police in Dallas influenced by the race hating BLM using snipers. What a coincidence and allows the media to deflect the conversation away from defending Hillary right back to the fear mongering gun control narrative. These timely coincidences are starting to add up pretty quickly....

This is a good point. I was actually impressed with Comey's character while he was giving testimony.

One thing to note would be if they were to go ahead and prosecute Hillary, would Comey even have been allowed to say anything or testify to congress? Instead it would have been "I can't comment on an ongoing case" or "ask the Dept. of Justice"

Because she is not being investigated, he could talk about everything they found, in detail, in public.

I wish this could be true.

His apathy and IDGAF vibe during his grilling by Congress could have been due to them plotting a huge round of charges surrounding the Clinton Foundation, and did not want the email situation to get in the way of it. Focusing all the resources on one big monster case.

If that does not actually happen, he is still part of the problem. If that is what he is doing, he better hurry up before the House Republicans make his life a living hell. They might end up pushing for an audit on everything they are working on and completely disrupt their work. Some of these House members might be willing to push everything off their plate to see this to the end, risking their own re-elections in the process. Too many are pissed off and ready to bite even the FBI themselves.

If he does nothing and Trump wins because Hillary just looked bad the whole time up til November, will not likely give a historian the idea that his lack of charges became the primary cause of Trump winning.

I can even see a historian making the claim, 20 years from now, that Comey's inaction hurt the country in many other ways, such as forcing Trump to waste his first 100 days in office (very important time for every new president) chasing corrupt politicians and wasting his "political capital" to "clean house" in the entire Executive branch. That would be a tremendous waste and terrible cause and effect, no one expected or wanted.

Time does not seem to be on his side, either way it goes.
