Google: A potential Golem against us
It is no secret that Google (and Google subsidiary YouTube) support progressive or leftist policies. The most recent example as of posting this is YouTube's campaign #ProudToBe which aims to promote acceptance of homosexuality, transgenderism and other forms of degeneracy.

In 2014, Google turned in child pornographer John Harry Skillern. Google uses technology called "hashing" to code "known" images and assign them a unique digital footprint (making them easy to track, even in Gmail). You can read more about it here: http://www.forbes.com/sites/markrogowsky...fcc71c3011

What's interesting about this is that it is unclear when Google started using "hashing" to catalog child sexual abuse imagery. Initially the technology was developed to filter spam and display targeted ads. "Hashing" could be applied to a plethora of data however, including thoughtcrime and thought-criminals.

Leftists genuinely believe that "Right Wing Extremists" are more often responsible for terrorist attacks and more dangerous than radical Muslims (see: http://usuncut.com/news/guess-which-terr...ericans/). It follows suite that Google may consider applying "hashing" to those who express Right-Wing opinions online and local governments may have legal recourse to them under hate speech or harassment laws. In fact, Google may already be applying "hashing" to us.

I am not an expert at internet security (as such, take all my advice with a grain of salt) but here are 5 steps which may help you protect your privacy and anonymity while online:

1) Download Tor. Tor is free software which conceals a user's location and usage from anyone conducting network surveillance and traffic analysis. Very useful. The only downside is that Tor is extremely slow. For faster internet speed you might want to...

2) Get a VPN (Virtual Private Network).
A VPN is useful for stopping companies tracking your online movements and activities. There are a plethora of of VPNs on the market. Here is a link breaking down the Pros and Cons of some on the market: http://au.pcmag.com/software/138/feature...know-about ***NOTE*** A VPN provider can see your activity and may be required by law to keep copies of it.

3) Use DuckDuckGo. It's a search engine that emphasises user privacy and doesn't collect personal information (such as location, search history etc.).

4) Use an encrypted E-mail to communicate with other thought-criminals. Tutanota and ProtonMail are free and user friendly.

5) Use Yahoo instead of Gmail (for all normie related activity) Yahoo anonymises user data after 90 days. Google may store it forever. See: http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20...-Retention

If you have any corrections or other suggestions I would be happy to hear them. Thank you

RE: Google: A potential Golem against us
To be more specific, Google scans all Gmail messages and hashes images. So basically, don't use Gmail.

Tutanota and Protonmail are great pro-privacy email providers.

You need an email account for many accounts. But for day-to-day communication you'll want to switch over to encrypted instant messaging software for talking with close friends as email is fundamentally non-secure. Even PGP encrypted messages leak tons of metadata.

DuckDuckGo's creator is historically anti-privacy (sold previous data collection company Names Database for $10 million) so I wouldn't trust them with my search data. StartPage is a better option.

For those interested I've discussed detailed digital privacy recommendations in two other threads (1, 2).

In order to create hashes of pornographic images, you must first possess those images that you want generate the hashes for.

How do you avoid using google if you have an android phone? The whole operating system is based on their technology and all password saved on a chrome browser translate to it.

^^ You can install Cyanogenmod and avoid installing Google Apps. You can use F-Droid instead of Google Play to find/install/update apps.

Unfortunately the experience is sub-par.
-Some apps won't have PUSH notifications (most use Google's infrastructure).
-Most apps use Google Play. You can try installing from another source but you might end up with malware.

RE: Google: A potential Golem against us
Strong thread title.

Quote:The most famous golem narrative involves Judah Loew ben Bezalel, the late 16th century rabbi of Prague, also known as the Maharal, who reportedly created a golem to defend the Prague ghetto from antisemitic attacks[12] and pogroms. Depending on the version of the legend, the Jews in Prague were to be either expelled or killed under the rule of Rudolf II, the Holy Roman Emperor. To protect the Jewish community, the rabbi constructed the Golem out of clay from the banks of the Vltava river, and brought it to life through rituals and Hebrew incantations.

RE: Google: A potential Golem against us
I'm using an alternative email client, but I'm missing the powerful filter functionality of Gmail. Which secure client has the best functionality in this regard?

Edit: one further question. What is the real benefit of encrypting your devices, like laptop, android etc.?

Secondly, should we add burner telephone number to this list? After all, phone number is linked to your whatsapp, which is linked to your facebook. Also, your telecom provider is not secure.

Can also deal with danger of virgin bunny boilers, or more seriously, potential false rape threats. A girl recently invited me to her house, and then threatened to call the police when I arrived at her door! Just saying – there are some real crazies out there.

I'm currently trying out Burner and Sideline. I don't know which is better.

Google is ticking time bomb of SJW convergence. They have the ingredients to become left ultimate tool of data mining and subversion, but they can not. They will provide inconvenience to those of the right,at this moment. Most of Google's top management are still connected to reality and know the moment they become tool of the left will be the downfall of their company. Last time I check, most of them what to make money.

Android is open source code. There is active community goes through each iteration release by Google. If there is something up with the code, they would know. If you are concern with security with android, the beauty of custom ROM come into play. Its mostly pure android with features of your choice. Plus it give you greater control of the programs allow to your phone. As for chrome, you can use alternative browser like Brave or Opera on your phone. The downside is you have manually input passwords into those browser. The thing about could service is convenience. All my less important passwords is on the cloud, hence its easier to retrieve regardless of the device. My more important passwords are on my computer saved in encrypted file.

This is one of the reasons I use Apple - they may be cunts in their own right, but at least they are a stand-alone system and they are NOT Google.

Funny how Google has changed from being the cool kid on the block, the young upstart that was clearly brighter and better than everyone else, to becoming synonymous with the NSA, corrupted governments, CIA monitoring and thought control.

Friend to Foe in only 20 years.

If it's on someone else's server in unencrypted form, they aren't realistically going to take heat from the police on your behalf.

Run your own email, just buy a domain and use the free or cheap service provided by the registrar.

If you really want to be safe buy a Linux VPS and literally run your own mailserver with full encryption and auto deletion.

If you're worried about google, at least with namecheap or godaddy's hosting you're not going to get them fucking with the spam filter to delete Trump/conservative e-mails.

When you run your own email server you are the web host for reference see Hillary Clinton.

While some of you are thinking it's all about SJW's you're missing that fact that Google is down with the power elite the movers and shakers that dictate discourse, define the trends, etc.
