What was the movie where depraved criminals were hunted?

That's about the only situation I could see people even slightly considering. But even then, I still figure Cecil the lion would still be the one with more outrage should that ever happen.

The Running Man was already mentioned, though I'm sure there was another well known movie with the same theme. It reminds me of the banned video game, Manhunt.

I for one welcome the return of the coliseum. People get paid millions of dollars now to run around with a rubber ball and throw it in a ring, lets make it for something worthy like lethal human combat. It would create a true warrior culture of masculine worship and fuel the ranks of the military with people inspired by their heroes on TV to be hunters on the battlefield.
